བདག་ཅག་ནི་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོའི་བར་སྒོ་སྲུང་བའི་བྲན་མོ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་ཟེར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་ཡང་རྒྱལ་བུ་སྒོ་དེའི་ནང་དུ་ཞུགས་ཏེ་སོང་བ་ལས་ནང་སྒོ་དེ་ལ་ཤེལ་གྱི་བུ་མོ་བརྒྱད་ཅིག་གསེར་གྱི་སྐུད་པ་འཁལ་ཞིང་འདུག་པ་མཐོང་ངོ་། ཁྲི་སྟན་ནི་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་བདུན་ལས་བྱས་སོ། །འོད་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ནི་མིག་གིས་མི་བཟོད་པ་ཙམ་དུ་འཚེར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་རྒྱལ་བུ་དགེ་དོན་སྟན་བཏིང་བ་ལ་བཞག་ནས་གཏམ་བྱས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་བུ་དགེ་དོན་དེ་ལས་གླེངས་ཏེ་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་སྤྲོ་བ་དང་། གཟེངས་བསྟོད་པ་དང་། དགའ་བའི་གཏམ་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་དང་། སྦྱིན་པའི་གཏམ་དང་། ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་ཀྱི་གཏམ་དང་། ཞག་བདུན་གྱི་བར་དུ་བདག་གིས་མཆོད་པ་སྦྱར་བ་ཙམ་བཞེས་སུ་གནང་ན་ནོར་བུ་སྦྱིན་ནོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། དེའི་ཚེ་ན་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོས་ཀླུ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་མཐུས་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་འཕུར་ཏེ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཚུ་རོལ་གྱི་ངོགས་སུ་བསྐྱལ་ཏོ། །དེར་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་ནུ་བོ་ངན་དོན་དང་ཕྲད་དོ། །རྒྱལ་བུས་ནུ་བོ་ངན་དོན་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་གྲོགས་པོ་ཀུན་ག་རེ་ཞེས་དྲིས་ནས་ཁྱོད་གཅིག་པུ་འདི་ན་འདུག་གམ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། རྒྱལ་བུ་ངན་དོན་ན་རེ་གྲུ་བྱིང་ནས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཤི་སྟེ། བདག་འབའ་ཞིག་རོ་ཞིག་ལ་འཇུ་འཇུ་ནས་མ་ཤི་ནས་ཕྱིན་ཏེ་གཞན་ནི་ཅིག་ཅར་ཀུན་ཤིའོ། །རྒྱལ་བུ་དགེ་དོན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། འཇིག་རྟེན་ན་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་མཆོག་ནི་བདག་གི་ལུས་ལས་འདའ་བ་མེད་དོ། །ནུ་བོས་སྨྲས་ པ། དེ་ལྟར་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ་ཕྱུག་བཞིན་དུ་ཤི་ཡང་སླའི་དབུལ་བཞིན་དུ་མི་གསོན་ནོ། །དེར་ཅི་མངོན་ཞེ་ན། བདག་དུར་ཁྲོད་ཅིག་ན་འདུག་པར་ཕྱིན་པ་ན། དུར་ཁྲོད་དེ་ན་ཡོད་པའི་རོ་དག་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་ཟེར་བ་ཐོས་སོ། །རྒྱལ་བུ་དགེ་དོན་རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་དྲང་བས་ནུ་བོ་ལ་ཁྱོད་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མེད་ཀྱང་ཚོད་ཡོད་ཀྱིས། བདག་ལ་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཡོད་དོ། །ནུ་བོས་ནོར་བུ་ག་རེ་ཞེས་དྲིས་ན། ཕུ་བོས་སྨྲས་པ། ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བདག་གི་དོ་ཀེར་གྱི་ནང་ན་ཡོད་དོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ནུ་བོས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་ཐོས་ནས་ཕྲག་དོག་གི་སེམས་ཀྱིས་ལྷག་པར་འཁྲུག་ཅིང་ཞེ་སྡང་གི་སེམས་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཡབ་རྒྱལ་པོ་དང་ཡུམ་བདག་ལ་ལྷག་པར་སྡང་བའི་སྟེང་དུ་ད་ཕུ་བོས་ནི་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྙེད་པས། ད་ནི་ལྷག་པར་བདག་ལ་སྡང་ཞིང་ས་རྡོ་དང་འདྲ་བར་བེན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ་སྙམ་བསམས་ནས་ཕུ་བོ་དགེ་དོན་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ཤིན་ཏུ་ལེགས་སོ། །ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཐོབ་པ་ཤིན་ཏུ་ལེགས་ཀྱིས་ད་འཇིགས་པ་འདིར་ལེགས་པར་བསྲུང་དགོས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་བུ་དགེ་དོན་གྱིས་དོ་ཀེར་བཀྲོལ་ཏེ་ནོར་བུ་ནི་ནུ་བོ་ངན་དོན་གྱི་ལག་ཏུ་བྱིན་ཏེ། ཁྱོད་ངལ་ཞིང་ཆད་དེ་ཉལ་བའི་ཚེ་ཁོ་བོས་བཙའ་ཞིང་བསྲུང་ངོ་། །ཁོ་བོ་ངལ་ཏེ་ཉལ་བའི་ཚེ་ན་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་བཙའ་ཞིང་སྲུངས་ཤིག །དེའི་ཚེ་ངན་དོན་ནོར་བུ་སྲུང་རེས་ལ་བབ་ནས་ཕུ་བོ་དགེ་དོན་དེ་གཉིད་ལོག་ཅིང་འདུག་པ་ལས། Seeing those vicious dragons, with a compassionate heart, he thought of all the sentient beings of Jambudvipa, thinking: I have come for the benefit of sentient beings. If the vicious dragons harm me, there will be no meaning to benefit and happiness. After Prince Dedon thought this, he raised his right hand and said to those vicious dragons: You should know that I want to meet the Dragon King for the benefit of all sentient beings. After that, those vicious dragons opened the way, passed through the seven layers of moats, and arrived at the city gate. At the city gate, he saw two crystal girls spinning crystal threads. He asked: Who are you? They said: We are the servants guarding the outer gate of the Dragon King. After that, he entered inside again and arrived at the middle gate. At the middle gate, he saw four crystal girls spinning silver threads. He asked those girls: Are you the Dragon King's consorts? They said: No, we are the servants guarding the middle gate of the Dragon King. After that, the prince entered that gate again and arrived at the inner gate. There, he saw eight crystal girls spinning gold threads. He asked: Who are you? They said: We are the servants guarding the inner gate of the Dragon King's palace. After that, Prince Dedon said to those girls: I am the prince of the country of Varanasi in Jambudvipa, named Dedon. Because I want to meet the king, I am now at the door. Please inform him. The Dragon King was very surprised and thought: This person must be someone with very deep merit and roots of virtue, otherwise an ordinary person could not have come here through such a path. The king himself welcomed him and led him into the palace. Inside the dragon king's palace, the ground was made of lapis lazuli, and the throne was made of seven precious jewels. The various kinds of light shone so brightly that they were unbearable to the eyes. Then the dragon king placed Prince Deden on a prepared seat and spoke to him. Then Prince Deden began from there and spoke to the dragon king with various kinds of joyful, praising, and delightful words, as well as words of generosity, words of morality, words of gods and humans, and so on, extensively preaching the Dharma. Then the dragon king became very happy and satisfied, and said, 'Having traveled such a difficult path and come from a long way, what do you desire?' Prince Deden said to the dragon king, 'The beings of Jambudvipa are experiencing endless great suffering for the sake of clothes, wealth, food, and drink, so I desire the wish-fulfilling jewel in the king's left ear.' The dragon king said, 'If you allow me to make offerings for seven days, I will give the jewel.' Then Prince Deden, as invited by the dragon king, stayed in the dragon palace for seven days, and taking the wish-fulfilling jewel, prepared to return to Jambudvipa. At that time, the great dragon king, by the power of the dragons, flew into the sky and carried him to the shore on this side of the ocean. Having arrived there, he met his younger brother Ngenden. The prince asked his younger brother Ngenden, 'Where are all your friends? Are you alone here?' Prince Ngenden said, 'The ship sank and everyone died. Only I survived by clinging to a corpse, and everyone else died together.' Prince Deden said, 'In this world, there is nothing more precious than my body.' The younger brother said, 'It is not so, it is easier to die rich than to live poor.' What was revealed there? I went to a cemetery, and I heard the corpses in that cemetery saying such things.'
