ང་གི་རིག་སྔགས་ཀྱི་མཐུས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཁྲོས་པར་གྱུར་ནས་འདི་སྐད་དུ། བྱོལ་སོང་ལས་སྐྱེས་པ་བདེན་ཞེས་བཙུན་མོ་ལས་ཕྱུང་སྟེ་པད་མོ་ཡང་བོར་དུ་བཅུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་རིང་ཞིག་ལོན་པ་དང་བཱ་རཱ་ཎ་སཱིའི་བློན་པོ་རྣམས་དང་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དུ་ལྟད་མོ་ལྟ་ཞིང་རྩེར་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། རྩེ་ཞིང་རོལ་མོ་བྱེད་དེ་རྟ་དང་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་ཡང་འཐབ་ཏུ་བཅུག །གྱད་རྣམས་ཀྱང་སྟོབས་འགྱེད་དུ་བཅུག་པ་ལས་གྱད་ཀྱི་ནང་ན་གྱད་རབ་ཏུ་མཆོག་ཏུ་སྟོབས་ཆེ་བ་གཅིག་རྡོག་པ་ས་ལ་བརྡབས་ན་ས་ཡང་འགུལ་ཏེ། དྲུང་ན་པད་མོའི་རྫིང་ཞིག་ཡོད་པ་ཡང་འགུལ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །པད་མོའི་རྫིང་དེའི་དྲུང་ན་ཕ་བོང་ཞིག་ཡོད་དེ། དེའི་འོག་ན་པད་མོ་ཞིག་ཡོད་པ་རྫིང་གི་ནང་དུ་ལྷུང་ངོ་། །རྫིང་དུ་ལྷུང་བའི་པད་མོ་དེ་མདོག་རབ་ཏུ་བཟང་ལ་ཁ་དོག་ལེ་བརྒན་དུ་འདུག་ལ་འཚེར་བའི་འོད་ཆགས་པ་རྒྱལ་པོས་མཐོང་ནས་སེམས་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་སྟེ། བློན་པོ་རྣམས་ལ་པད་མོ་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་ནི་སྔོན་ཆད་ཡང་མཐོང་མ་མྱོང་ངོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་པད་མོ་དེ་ཆུའི་ནང་ནས་ཕྱུང་ཤིག་ཅེས་བསྒོ་ནས་པད་མོ་ལེན་དུ་བཏང་ བ་ལས། པད་མོ་དེ་ལ་འདབ་མ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཡོད་དེ། འདབ་མ་རེ་རེའི་འོག་ན་ཁྱེའུ་གཞོན་ནུ་བྱད་བཞིན་བཟང་ཞིང་མཛེས་ལ་ཕལ་ལས་འཕགས་པ་རེ་རེ་ཡོད་པར་མཐོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་པད་མོ་ལེན་པའི་མི་དེས་པད་མོ་དེ་ལ་ངོ་མཚར་ཆེ་བ་དེ་ལྟ་བུ་དག་མཐོང་ནས། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་པད་མོ་དེ་ལ་འདབ་མ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་མཆིས་ཏེ། འདབ་མ་རེ་རེའི་འོག་ན་ལྷའི་བུ་རེ་རེ་ཡོད་དོ་ཞེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་ཚིག་དེ་ཐོས་ནས་བ་སྤུ་ཀུན་ལངས་པ་ཙམ་དུ་དངངས་ནས་མི་དེ་ལ་ཡང་དག་པར་བདེན་ནམ་ཞེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ཏོ། །དེ་ཉིད་བཙུན་མོ་རི་དགས་མས་བཙས་པའི་པད་མོ་ཡིན་ནམ་ཞེས་བཙུན་མོ་ལས་བཙས་པའི་པད་མོ་གར་བོར་ཞེས་དྲིས་ན། བཙུན་མོས་གསོལ་པ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་པད་མོ་དེ་རྫིང་གི་འགྲམ་ན་ཕ་བོང་ཞིག་མཆིས་པའི་འོག་ཏུ་སྦས་སོ་ཞེས་གསོལ་པ་དང་། དེ་ཉིད་བཙུན་མོ་རི་དགས་མས་བཙས་པ་ཡིན་པར་ཡིད་ཆེས་པས་ཕྱིར་ཕོ་བྲང་གི་ནང་དུ་འོངས་སོ། །ཕྱིར་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ་ཕྱིན་ནས་བཙུན་མོ་རི་དགས་མ་ལ་བདག་ནི་གཏི་མུག་ཅན། ཤེས་པ་མེད་པ། མཛངས་ངན་མི་རྟོགས་པས་བཙུན་མོ་བདེན་པར་འོང་ངོ་སྙམ་ནས་བཙུན་མོའི་ཡིད་དང་འགལ་བར་གྱུར་པ་བཤགས་སོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས་ཕྱིར་བཙུན་མོ་དམ་པར་དབང་བསྐུར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཤིན་ཏུ་དགའ་ནས་བློན་པོ་རྣམས་དང་། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་། རྒྱལ་ཕྲན་དང་། མཚན་མཁན་ཀུན་བསྡུས་ནས་རྒྱལ་བུ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པང་དུ་བླངས་ནས་མཚན་མཁན་རྣམས་ལ་མཚན་བཟང་ངན་བལྟར་བཅུག་གོ །མཚན་མཁན་གྱིས་གསོལ་པ། རྒྱལ་བུ་འདི་དག་ནི་རྒྱལ་པོའི་བསོད་ནམས་དང་དབང་ཐང་གིས་གྲུབ་སྟེ། གལ་ཏེ་ཁྱིམ་ན་གནས་ན་མཐའ་བཞི་རང་འདུ་ཞིང་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་འགོ་བར་འགྱུར། གལ་ཏེ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ན་གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་སྐྱེ་ཤིའི་རྩ་བ་གཅོད་ཅིང་འདོད་པའི་ཆུ་ཀླུང་ལས་ཐར་ཏེ་འཁོར་བའི་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་ཅིང་། རིག་པ་གསུམ་དང་། མངོན་པར་ཤེས་པ་དྲུག་དང་ལྡན་ཞིང་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གི་འབྲས་བུ་བཞི་ཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་ཚིག་དེ་ཐོས་ནས་ལྷག་པར་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་ནས། རྒྱལ་བུ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་གསོ་བའི་མ་མ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་བཏུས་པ་དང་། དེ་ནས་བཙུན་མོ་རི་དགས་མས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡུལ་ཁམས་ཀུན་དུ་མ་མ་བཏུ་མི་དགོས་ཏེ། ད་ལྟར་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་ན་བཙུན་མོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཡོད་ལ། བཙུན་མོ་དེ་དག་བདག་ལ་བུ་ཡོད་པས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཕྲག་དོག་བྱེད་དོ། །ད་རྒྱལ་པོས་བཙུན་མོ་རེ་རེ་ཞིང་རྒྱལ་བུ་རེ་རེ་གསོར་བཅུག་ན་རྒྱལ་བུ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་སོས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་བཙུན་མོ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། བཙུན་མོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་བཙུན་མོ་ལ་ཕྲག་དོག་བྱེད་པར་གྱུར་ན་གཞུ་བ་དང་། བརྡེག་པ་དང་། སྤང་བ་དང་། བསྐྲད་པ་དང་། སྲོག་ལ་དབབ་པའི་བར་དུ་བཙུན་མོའི་ཡིད་དང་མི་འགལ་བར་བདག་བྱེད་ན། ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་དགྲར་གྱུར་པ་དེ་དག་ལ་དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཤིན་ཏུ་བཟོད་དཀའ་བ་ཉམས་སུ་ལེན་ཅིང་། གནམ་སའི་བར་ན་དྲིན་ཆེ་བ་བདག་གི་བུ་བཙུན་མོ་རྣམས་ལ་སྦྱིན་པར་སེམས། དེའི་ཚེ་བཙུན་མོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་ཐོས་ཏེ་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་ནས་བཙུན་མོ་རི་དགས་མས་བདག་ཅག་ལ་བདེ་བ་དང་སྐྱིད་པ་རྒྱུན་དུ་བསྟབས་ལ་ད་ཡང་སྲས་བུ་བདག་ཅག་ལ་བྱིན་པས་རབ་ཏུ་དགའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་འཁོར་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་སྙེད་ཀྱང་ཚིག་དེ་དག་ཐོས་ནས་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བའི་སེམས་སྐྱེས་ཏེ་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོས་བཙུན་མོ་ལ་ངོ་མཚར་ཆེ་སྟེ། བདག་ནི་ཁྱོད་ཙམ་མི་ཕོད་དོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །བཙུན་མོས་སྨྲས་པ། ཕྲག་དོག་གི་དབང་གིས་ཞེ་སྡང་སྐྱེ་སྟེ། ཉེས་པའི་གཉེན་པོར་ནི་བཟོད་པ་སྒོམ། ཁྲོ་བའི་གཉེན་པོར་ནི་བྱམས་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དགོས་ཏེ། བདག་ནི་ཐོག་མ་ནས་ཅི་ལ་ཡང་རྩོད་པ་མ་མྱོང་སྟེ། བཙུན་མོ་རྣམས་རང་ལ་འཚེ་ཞིང་གནོད་པ་བྱེད་དུ་ཟད་དོ། །དཔེར་ན་མི་ཞིག་མཚན་མོ་སོང་སོང་བ་ཞིག་ལས་ཤིང་དུམ་ཅིག་མཐོང་བ

我以明咒的力量，国王变得愤怒，这样说道：‘是从畜生所生是真的’，于是将王妃赶出，莲花也被丢弃了。之后过了很久，波罗奈（古印度地名，今瓦拉纳西）的大臣们在游乐园中观看嬉戏，嬉戏玩乐，让马和象也互相争斗。也让壮士们比试力气，壮士之中有一个力气最大的人，脚跺在地上，大地也震动，旁边有一个莲花池，也震动了。那个莲花池旁边有一块石头，石头下面有一朵莲花，掉进了池塘里。掉进池塘里的那朵莲花，颜色非常好看，颜色像石榴一样，闪闪发光，国王看见后心里非常高兴，对大臣们说，这样的莲花以前也未曾见过。然后命令将那朵莲花从水里捞出来，于是派人去取莲花，那朵莲花有五百片花瓣，每片花瓣下面都看见有一个年轻的少年，容貌端正美丽，超凡脱俗。然后取莲花的人看见那朵莲花如此奇特，就禀告道：‘大国王，那朵莲花有五百片花瓣，每片花瓣下面都有一位天子。’国王听了这话，汗毛都竖起来了，惊慌地问那个人是否完全属实。是不是王妃瑞达嘎玛所生的莲花呢，王妃所生的莲花丢在哪里了，这样问。王妃禀告道：‘大国王，那朵莲花在池塘边的一块石头下面藏着。’于是相信了那确实是王妃瑞达嘎玛所生的，就回到了王宫里。回到王宫后，对王妃瑞达嘎玛说，我真是愚痴，没有智慧，不辨美丑，以为王妃说的是真的，对王妃的心意有所违背，我忏悔，这样说完，又重新为王妃举行了神圣的灌顶。之后国王非常高兴，召集了大臣们、婆罗门、小国王和相士们，

Through the power of my knowledge mantra, the king became enraged and said, 'It is true that she was born from an animal,' and so he expelled the queen and had the lotus discarded as well. After a long time, the ministers of Varanasi went to the pleasure garden to watch and play. They played and made music, and even had horses and elephants fight each other. They also had strong men compete in strength, and among the strong men, there was one who was exceedingly strong. When he stomped his foot on the ground, the earth shook, and a lotus pond nearby also shook. Beside that lotus pond was a stone, and beneath it was a lotus that fell into the pond. The lotus that fell into the pond was of excellent color, its hue like a pomegranate, and it shone with a radiant light. The king saw it and was very pleased, saying to his ministers, 'Such a lotus I have never seen before.' Then he ordered that the lotus be taken out of the water, and so he sent someone to retrieve it. That lotus had five hundred petals, and beneath each petal, they saw a young boy, handsome and beautiful, and surpassing the ordinary. Then the person who was retrieving the lotus, having seen such a wondrous thing, reported, 'Great King, that lotus has five hundred petals, and beneath each petal is a son of the gods.' When the king heard these words, his hairs stood on end, and he asked the person in alarm, 'Is this absolutely true? Is it the lotus born of Queen Ridagmas? Where was the lotus born of the queen discarded?' The queen replied, 'Great King, that lotus is hidden beneath a stone by the pond.' Then, believing that it was indeed born of Queen Ridagmas, he returned to the palace. After returning to the palace, he said to Queen Ridagmas, 'I am foolish, without wisdom, unable to distinguish good from bad. Thinking that the queen was telling the truth, I acted against the queen's wishes. I confess,' he said, and then re-enthroned the queen in holiness. After that, the king was very happy and gathered together the ministers, Brahmins, petty kings, and all the diviners,

Holding the five hundred princes, he had the physiognomists examine the good and bad omens. The physiognomists reported: "These princes are accomplished by the king's merit and power. If they remain in lay life, the four quarters will naturally submit, and the gods will also be subjugated. If they renounce, they will surely cut off the root of birth and death, be liberated from the river of desire, reach the other shore of samsara, possess the three knowledges and six supernormal powers, and attain the four fruits of a śrāmaṇa." The king, hearing this, was even more delighted, and so he selected five hundred wet nurses to nourish the five hundred princes. Then, the queen Ridagma reported to the king, saying: "Great King, there is no need to select wet nurses throughout the country. Now there are five hundred consorts in the king's palace, and those consorts are all jealous of me because I have a son. Now, if the king allows each consort to nurse one prince, the princes will also survive." The king said to the queen: "If the five hundred consorts are jealous of the queen, then I will do whatever does not go against the queen's wishes, even whipping, beating, abandoning, banishing, or even executing them. Why should I endure such unbearable things for those who have become enemies? Between heaven and earth, the most precious thing is my son, yet I am thinking of giving him to the consorts." At that time, the five hundred consorts heard these words and were overjoyed, saying, "Queen Ridagma has always given us ease and happiness, and now she has given us her son, we are so happy!" At that time, hundreds of thousands of attendants also heard these words and generated great joy, and aroused the mind of bodhicitta. Afterwards, the great king was very amazed at the queen, saying, "I am not as tolerant as you." The queen said: "Because of jealousy, anger arises, and the remedy for evil is to cultivate patience. The remedy for anger is to generate loving-kindness. From the beginning, I have never argued with anyone, it is just that the consorts themselves harm and injure each other. For example, a person walking at night sees a piece of wood."
