མ་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བསྒོ་བ་དང་། དེ་དག་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་རངས་ནས་ཤིན་ཏུ་ལེགས་སོ་ལེགས་སོ། །ངོ་མཚར་ཆེའོ་ཞེས་བསྟོད་པ་བྱས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་སྦྱིན་བདག་དེ་ཕྱིར་ཁྱིམ་དུ་འོངས་ནས་ཆུང་མ་དང་། བུ་རྣམས་དང་། བྲན་ཁོལ་དང་། ལས་བྱེད་པའི་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱང་བསྡུས་ཏེ། དགའ་བའི་མདངས་ཕྱུང་ནས། འཇམ་ཞིང་ཡིད་དུ་འོང་བའི་ཚིག་སྙན་པས་བུ་སྨད་དང་། བྲན་ཁོལ་དང་། ལས་བྱེད་པའི་མི་རྣམས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བསྒོའོ། །ཁྱེད་རྣམས་ཤེས་པར་གྱིས་ཤིག །ཁོ་བོས་སྨྲས་པའི་ཚིག་ལེགས་པར་ཉོན་ཅིག །ཁྱེད་ཤེས་སམ་ཐན་པ་ཆེན་པོས་མུ་གེ་བྱུང་ནས། མི་ཐམས་ཅད་ལྟོགས་ཏེ་གྲངས་མེད་པ་ཞིག་ཤི་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །བདག་གི་ཁྱིམ་ན་བང་མཛོད་ཀུན་གང་ཞིང་ལུད་དེ་འབྲུ་ཡང་གྲངས་མེད་པ་ཞིག་ཡོད་པས་དུས་ལས་མ་ཡོལ་བར་བདག་ཅག་བསོད་ནམས་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བུ་སྨད་ཀུན་གྱིས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་བསྒོ་བ་ཐོས་ནས་ལེགས་སོ་ལེགས་སོ། ། བདག་ཅག་གི་སྲོག་ལུས་སྦྱིན་པ་བྱས་ཀྱང་མི་ཕངས་ན་བང་མཛོད་དང་། ནོར་རྫས་དང་། ཁ་ཟས་ལྟ་སྨོས་ཀྱང་ཅི་དགོས། དེ་ནས་སྦྱིན་བདག་ཀྱང་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་རངས་ནས་ཁྱེད་རྣམས་ནི་ཡང་དག་པར་ཁོ་བོའི་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཐོབ་པར་བྱ་བའི་གྲོགས་ཡིན་པ་ལྟ་དགེའོ་ལེགས་སོ། །ཁྱེད་རྣམས་ཀྱང་སོ་སོ་ནས་ཅི་དང་ཅི་བྱ་བ་རྣམས་ཅི་དང་ཅི་བསྒྲུབ་པ་སྐོལ་བྱ་བའི་རིགས་པ་ཡང་མོད་ལ་བྱ། བསྒྲུབ་པའི་རིགས་པ་ཡང་མྱུར་དུ་བསྒྲུབ་སྟེ། ད་སྟེ་ཞག་བདུན་ན་ངེས་པར་འབྱོར་བར་བྱའོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་སྦྱིན་བདག་དེས་སོ་སོར་བསྒོ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ཕྱི་རོལ་དུ་བྱུང་སྟེ། གང་ནས་མཉམ་ཞིང་ཡངས་ལ་བདེ་བའི་གནས་ཞིག་བལྟས་ནས་མོད་ལ་ས་གཞི་དག་པར་ཉལ་ཉིལ་དང་ས་རྡོ་མེད་པར་བྱས་ཕྱགས་ཏེ་ཁྲི་སྟན་བཤམས་སོ། །དེ་ལྟར་མང་པོ་འདུ་བའི་གནས་སྦྱིན་པ་སྦྱིན་པའི་ས་གཞི་བཤམས་ནས་བན་གླང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ལ་ཁ་ཟས་བཀལ་ཏེ་སྦྱིན་པའི་སར་བསྐྱལ་ནས། ཁ་ཟས་ནི་རི་བཞིན་དུ་སྤུངས། ཞོ་ཆུ་ནི་མཚོ་བཞིན་བསྐྱིལ། མར་དང་། འབྲུ་མར་དང་། ཁུར་བ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ཁ་ཟས་རོ་བརྒྱ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཆོ་མ་ཆོ་དགུ་སྦྱར་ཏེ། དེ་མ་ཡིན་པ་གཞན་ཡང་གོས་དང་། གདུ་བུ་དང་། ཕྲེང་བ་དང་། ལུས་ཀྱི་རྒྱན་སྣ་ཚོགས་དང་། བན་གླང་དང་། རྟ་དང་། རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་བདུན་ལ་སོགས་ཏེ། ཐམས་ཅད་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པར་སྦྱར་ནས་ཞག་བདུན་ལོན་པའི་སྐྱ་རེངས་ཤར་ནས་ཞག་བདུན་གྱི་ཉི་མ་ལ་དྲིལ་རྔ་བརྡུངས། དུང་བུས་ཏེ། སྐད་ཆེན་པོས་ཐམས་ཅད་སྦྱིན་པའི་གནས་འདིར་འདུས་ཤིང་ཤོག་ཤིག་ཅེས་བོས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ

嘱咐说要布施，他们都非常高兴，赞叹说：“太好了，太好了！真是太稀奇了！”之后，施主回到家中，把妻子、儿子们、仆人和佣人也都召集起来，面带喜色，用柔和悦耳的甜言蜜语对儿女、仆人和佣人们这样嘱咐道：“你们要知道，好好听我说的话。你们知道吗？因为大旱发生了饥荒，所有人都饥饿，无数人因此而死去。我的家里，所有的仓库都装满了，堆积如山，粮食也数不胜数，趁着还没到时机过去，我们行善积德吧。”儿女们听了这些嘱咐，都说：“太好了，太好了！ 我们连性命身体都可以布施，又怎么会吝惜仓库、财物和食物呢？”之后，施主也非常高兴，说：“你们真是太好了，你们是帮助我获得无上菩提的同伴啊！你们也要各自去做各自应该做的事情，该做什么就做什么，该准备的东西也要多多准备。该准备的东西也要尽快准备好，一定要在七天之内准备妥当。”当时，施主这样分别嘱咐之后，就出了家门，寻找一个平坦、宽敞、舒适的地方，很快就把地面清理干净，没有瓦砾和石头，打扫干净，铺设了床榻和坐垫。就这样，准备好了很多人聚集的地方，也就是布施的场地，然后用五百头牲畜驮着食物运到布施的场地，食物堆积如山，酸奶如海。酥油、麻油、水果等各种具有百种美味的食物，混合了各种各样的食物，除此之外，还有衣服、手镯、花环、各种身体的装饰品、牲畜、马匹、七宝等等，所有的一切都准备得非常丰盛，七天过去，黎明到来，在第七天的太阳升起时，敲响了锣鼓，吹响了海螺，用洪亮的声音呼唤大家：“都聚集到这个布施的地方来啊！”当时

Then, the benefactor returned home and gathered his wife, children, servants, and employees. With a joyful expression, he spoke to his sons, daughters, servants, and employees with gentle and pleasing words, instructing them thus: "You must know this! Listen carefully to my words. Do you know that a great drought has caused a famine, and all the people are starving, and countless numbers have died? In my house, all the storehouses are full and overflowing, and there is an immeasurable amount of grain. Before the opportunity passes, let us accumulate merit." Hearing these instructions, all the sons and daughters said, "Excellent, excellent! We would not hesitate to give even our lives and bodies in charity, so why should we be stingy with storehouses, wealth, and food?" Then, the benefactor was also very pleased and said, "You are truly excellent! You are companions who will help me attain unsurpassed enlightenment! Each of you must do what you need to do, and prepare whatever needs to be prepared in abundance. Prepare what needs to be prepared quickly, and be sure to have it all ready within seven days." At that time, the benefactor gave these separate instructions and then went outside the house. He looked for a place that was level, spacious, and comfortable, and quickly cleaned the ground, removing rubble and stones, sweeping it clean, and setting up beds and cushions. In this way, he prepared a place for many people to gather, a site for giving alms. Then, he loaded food onto five hundred oxen and transported it to the site of the almsgiving. The food was piled up like mountains, and the yogurt was like a sea. Butter, sesame oil, fruits, and other foods with a hundred flavors were mixed together in various combinations. In addition to these, there were also clothes, bracelets, garlands, various bodily ornaments, oxen, horses, the seven precious jewels, and so on. Everything was prepared in great abundance. After seven days had passed, at the break of dawn, as the sun of the seventh day rose, drums and gongs were sounded, conch shells were blown, and with a loud voice, everyone was called: "Gather here at this place of almsgiving!" At that time
