我的这个身体最终也会坏灭腐烂，没有什么用处。现在我想时间已经到了，于是对婆罗门导师这样说道：伟大的导师，我将如您所愿地供养您。之后，国王回到王宫，对妃嫔们说：现在我们就要分离了。妃嫔们听到这话，惊慌失措，不知所措，心想国王现在要做什么呢？于是恳求道。国王说：我想在我的身体上点燃一千盏灯，用来供养婆罗门导师。妃嫔们听到这话，倒在地上，哭天抢地，昏了过去。过了很久，才恢复了知觉。伟大的国王啊，世上没有比您的身体更珍贵的了，您总是担心生病，尽力医治，为什么要伤害和损害您的身体呢？国王您是如此的聪明睿智，现在是喝醉了吗？还是被恶鬼附身了？到底发生了什么事？国王说：什么都没有发生。妃嫔们问：那为什么要做出这样的伤害，并想供养婆罗门呢？国王说：我渴望佛法，想为一切众生谋福利。妃嫔们说：如果您真的为一切众生着想，那为什么要抛弃我们呢？国王说：世间一切的爱恨最终都会分离，因此我才要用身体做供养，为你们和一切众生在黑暗的房间里点亮大智慧的明灯，照亮生死轮回的无明黑暗，斩断一切烦恼的缠绕，从轮回的痛苦中解脱出来，将你们安置在涅槃的境界，所以请你们不要阻碍和制造障碍。当时，妃嫔们听到国王这样劝诫，像被噎住了一样，一句话也说不出来，然后大声哭泣，撕扯着自己的头发，说道：我们真是没有福报，太不吉利了，活着就失去了依靠。那位国王有五百个王子，个个相貌英俊，心地善良，聪明睿智。

This body of mine will eventually perish and decay, and it is of no use. Now I think the time has come, so I said to the Brahmin teacher: Great teacher, I will offer you as you wish. Then the king went to the palace and said to the concubines: Now we are going to separate. When the concubines heard this, they were frightened and confused, wondering what the king was going to do now? So they pleaded. The king said: I want to light a thousand lamps on my body to offer to the Brahmin teacher. When the concubines heard this, they fell to the ground, wailed, and fainted. After a long time, they regained consciousness. Great King, there is nothing more precious in the world than your body. You are always worried about getting sick and try your best to heal it. Why do you hurt and harm your body? King, you are so wise and intelligent, are you drunk now? Or are you possessed by a demon? What happened? The king said: Nothing like that happened. The concubines asked: Then why do you do such harm and want to offer to the Brahmin? The king said: I desire the Dharma of the Buddha and want to benefit all sentient beings. The concubines said: If you really think of all sentient beings, then why do you abandon us? The king said: All love and hate in the world will eventually separate, so I want to make offerings with my body, to light the lamp of great wisdom in the dark room for you and all sentient beings, to illuminate the darkness of ignorance in the cycle of birth and death, to cut off all the entanglements of afflictions, to liberate you from the suffering of samsara, and to place you in the state of Nirvana, so please do not hinder and create obstacles. At that time, when the concubines heard the king's admonition, they were choked up and could not say a word, then they cried loudly and tore their hair, saying: We are really without merit, too unlucky, we have lost our reliance while alive. That king had five hundred princes, all of whom were handsome, kind-hearted, intelligent and wise.

具足。人的相好圆满具足。国王也像眼睛一样怜惜爱护他们。当时，国王对王子们说：我如今想做一个祭祀，但担心身体和性命衰弱，要和你们分离了。国家的政事和百姓的事情，你们按长幼顺序处理吧。王子们听到国王这样吩咐，就像身体的肢体和血脉被割断一样痛苦难忍。比如人吃饱了想吐又吐不出来，想咽又咽不下去一样，对国王这样禀告道：为什么舍弃我们，不把我们当做依靠呢？有的人从国王的脖子上抱下来，有的人抓住手和脚，放声大哭。哎呀，哎呀，为什么会变得没有怙主和依靠呢？之后，国王为了让王子们高兴，告诫他们说：世间一切亲爱和喜欢的事物，最终都会分离的。听到这样告诫，心里虽然明白，但还是不忍分离，恳请国王答应我一个请求。如果我们能把身体和性命献给国王，请用我们来供养婆罗门导师吧。国王说：孩子们，你们现在还年幼力弱，不能做这样的祭祀。我从遥远的地方寻找到导师，已经答应要做祭祀，不能违背我的意愿。孝顺的儿子不会违背父亲的意愿，难道你们要违背我的意愿吗？王子们听到这些话，放声痛哭，哀号的声音让国家的诸神都惊慌失措，像山倒塌一样，所有人都倒在地上。当时，所有边境小国的国王也都前来问安，然后前往宫殿里伟大的导师所在的地方。走到导师面前，脱下身上所有的装饰品，也脱下衣服，放在一边，然后端正地坐着。刚一坐下，就对各位小国王、大臣、五百位王子和两万位妃嫔说道：你们之中谁能在我身上割一千个伤口？妃嫔、王子和大臣们

It was like a person who is full and wants to vomit but cannot, and cannot swallow either. They pleaded to the king, saying: "Why do you abandon us and not take us as your refuge?" Some embraced the king from his neck, others grabbed his hands and feet, crying and wailing. "Alas, alas, why will we become without protector and refuge?" Then, the king, in order to cheer up the princes, admonished them, saying: "All beloved and cherished things in this world will eventually be separated." Although they understood this admonition, they could not bear to part and begged the king to grant them one request. "If we can offer our body and life to the king, please use us to make offerings to the Brahmin teacher." The king said: "Children, you are still young and weak and cannot perform such a sacrifice. I have sought a teacher from afar and have promised to perform a sacrifice, so I cannot go against my will. A filial son does not go against his father's will, so how can you go against my will?" When the princes heard these words, they cried out and wailed, and the gods of the country were alarmed. Like a mountain collapsing, everyone fell to the ground. At that time, all the kings of the border countries also came to pay their respects and then went to the place where the great teacher was in the palace. Arriving before the teacher, they took off all their ornaments and clothes, placed them aside, and sat upright. As soon as they sat down, they said to the kings, ministers, five hundred princes, and twenty thousand consorts: "Who among you can cut a thousand wounds on my body?" The consorts, princes, and ministers
