心生嫉妒。现在国王让每个妃子轮流给王子们喂奶，王子们也能复活。国王对妃子们说：五百妃子如果对妃子心生嫉妒，我都会顺从妃子的心意，即使是鞭打、殴打、抛弃、驱逐甚至处死。为什么你们要忍受对敌人那般难以忍受的痛苦，而我却想把天地间最珍贵的儿子赐予你们呢？当时，五百妃子听到这些话，非常高兴，鹿母妃说：您一直给我们带来幸福和快乐，现在又把儿子赐予我们，我们非常高兴。当时，成百上千的眷属听到这些话，都生起了极大的欢喜心，并发起了菩提心。之后，大国王对妃子感到非常惊奇，说：我不如你这般能忍。妃子说：因嫉妒而生嗔恨，对治过失应修忍辱。对治愤怒应生慈悲心。我从一开始就未曾与任何人争执，只是妃子们自己互相伤害罢了。例如，某人在黑夜中看到一截木头，误以为是敌人或恶鬼，便惊慌失措地逃跑。逃入黑暗中，有人从高高的悬崖上坠落，有人落入水中、火中、荆棘丛中或森林中，身体受伤或毁灭。如此，因错误的认知而遭遇那样的损害。同样，一切众生自生自灭，就像蚕或飞蛾扑火一样，没有人去强迫它们。一切过失都源于对事物虚假不实的认知。妃子们也是如此，所以我与无知者或庸人没有任何争执。五百妃子向鹿母妃顶礼，坦白了自己的过错，并像母亲或女儿一样服侍和尊敬鹿母妃，也像对待自己的儿子一样对待王子。

The queen said: Anger arises from the power of jealousy, and patience should be cultivated as an antidote to faults. Loving-kindness should be cultivated as an antidote to anger. I have never argued with anyone from the beginning, it is just that the queens harm and hurt each other. For example, a person sees a piece of wood in the dark of night and mistakes it for an enemy or a demon, and is so frightened that he runs away. Fleeing into the darkness, some fall from high cliffs, others fall into water, fire, thorn bushes, or forests, and their bodies are injured or destroyed. Thus, due to wrong perception, they encounter such harm. Similarly, all sentient beings are born and die on their own, like silkworms or moths flying into a flame, and no one forces them. All faults arise from perceiving things as untrue. The queens are the same, so I have no quarrel with the ignorant or the common. The five hundred queens prostrated to Queen Deer Mother, confessed their faults, and served and respected Queen Deer Mother like a mother or daughter, and treated the prince like their own son.
