Great Bodhisattvas, Bodhisattva World Light, Bodhisattva Sacred Sound, Bodhisattva Great Skillful Means Power, Bodhisattva Dispeller of Darkness, Bodhisattva Unequaled Direction, and so on, all those Bodhisattvas made the following vows before the Buddha: "After the Blessed One passes into Nirvana, we will protect the Buddha's teachings, make them flourish in all ten directions of the world, and never let them cease. Why is that? Because we have seen the inconceivable sacred rays of light of the Tathagata, and from those rays, we will also hear the inconceivable Buddha's teachings. Having heard those teachings, we will be separated from the obscurations of the mind, and all defilements will be purified. Like heavenly jewels and gold, the mind will become pure, and everything will appear clearly. Because we remember such benefits and virtues of happiness, we have developed the perception of the Tathagata as a great teacher. Having developed the perception of loving parents, we will always remember the kindness of the Buddha and know the kindness of the Buddha. Why is that? Because having heard the sacred Dharma, we will soon sit under the Bodhi tree, turn the wheel of the sacred Dharma, and liberate all sentient beings. Those beings will also attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment by hearing the Dharma. Then, the Tathagata spoke to the many assemblies, saying: "These seventy Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, from a long time ago, countless eons, hundreds of thousands of billions of fine dust particles ago, have attended to and revered Buddhas, Blessed Ones, as many as the fine dust particles of hundreds of thousands of worlds of the Ganges River sands. From those Buddhas, they have always practiced pure conduct, and with an unwearying mind, they have pleased those victors." With love, they protect my body, uphold the Buddha's teachings, and with great compassion, they constantly do things for the benefit and happiness of all beings in the ten directions. 那些名为“嘎”的菩萨，如果完整地听闻了一个名字，或者两个，或者三个，或者四个乃至七十个名字，那么，如果他们皈依了生命之方，一旦去世，就会在佛陀所居住的净土中，从莲花中化生，完全脱离贪欲，不从子宫中出生，远离腥臭和污秽，身体完全清净，散发着芬芳，令一切众生喜悦并受到尊敬。由于令一切众生喜悦并受到尊敬，他们的内心会极度欢喜。由于内心极度欢喜，他们会发起无上正等觉之心。由于发起无上正等觉之心，他们会对一切众生发起慈爱和伟大的悲悯之心。如此发起慈爱和悲悯之心后，他们会对所有众生生起不舍弃的平等之心。此外，还会生起利益和安乐一切众生的心，利益自己和他人之心，消除障碍和违缘之心，平息烦恼之心，亲近善知识并恒常恭敬之心，以渴望之心听闻佛法之心，不忘失地忆念并受持殊胜意义的心，听闻甚少却能理解众多意义的心，以及不希望听闻众多却不理解意义的心。之后，会生起对真实本身的欢喜之心，以及对如是之义的真理的信心。生起对真实之义的真理的信心后，会生起如所教导般修持瑜伽的心。生起如所教导般修持瑜伽的心后，会生起不退转之心。如此生起不退转之心后，会对所有这些众生生起平等友爱之心。正如我不喜欢在三界中轮回于二十五有中一样，对于有色、无色、四足、多足，乃至蚂蚁等生命

Those Bodhisattvas named "Ga," if they fully hear one name, or two, or three, or from four up to seventy names, then, if they take refuge in the direction of life, immediately after death, they will be born miraculously from a lotus in the pure land where the Buddhas reside, completely free from desire, not born from a womb, and free from stench and impurity. Their bodies will be completely pure and fragrant, pleasing to all beings and worthy of respect. Because they are pleasing to all and respected, their minds will be exceedingly joyful. Because their minds are exceedingly joyful, they will generate the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Because they generate the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, they will generate the mind of loving-kindness and great compassion towards all sentient beings. Having generated the mind of loving-kindness and compassion in this way, they will generate a mind of equanimity that does not abandon all beings. Furthermore, they will generate the mind that benefits and brings happiness to all sentient beings, the mind that works for the benefit of oneself and others, the mind that eliminates obstacles and hindrances, the mind that pacifies afflictions, the mind that attends to virtuous friends and always respects them, the mind that listens to the Dharma with a desire, the mind that remembers without forgetting and holds the excellent meaning, the mind that understands many meanings from hearing little, and the mind that does not desire to hear much but not understand the meaning. Then, they will generate a mind of delight in reality itself, and a mind of faith in the truth of suchness. Having generated a mind of faith in the truth of reality, they will generate the mind of practicing yoga as taught. Having generated the mind of practicing yoga as taught, they will generate the mind of non-retrogression. Having generated the mind of non-retrogression in this way, they will generate a mind of equal friendship towards all those sentient beings. Just as I do not like to be born in the twenty-five existences of the three realms, so too for beings with form, without form, four-legged, many-legged, and even ants and other lives.
