食物也断绝了，那时国王和王妃放声大哭。哎呀，哎呀，真是悲惨，从最初出生到现在，没有经历过这样的事，现在却在这里经历了。现在在这里悲伤又贫穷啊，这样说着，用手捶打着头。在地上打滚，身上沾满了灰尘，口中念诵着哀叹之词。我们前世做了什么罪恶的不善之业？难道是杀害了父母和阿罗汉吗？难道是诽谤了神圣的佛法吗？难道是制造了僧团的分裂吗？难道是做了猎人和渔夫吗？难道是篡改了秤和斗，欺骗掠夺他人吗？难道是享用了僧团的财物吗？做了什么才会遭受这样的痛苦呢？这样哀叹着，稍微停顿一下，如果敌人追上来，性命的危险是必然的。如果走上道路，就会受到饥渴的威胁，性命危在旦夕。国王和王妃被这样的痛苦所逼迫，放声大哭，倒在地上昏了过去。之后过了很久，醒来后心想，我们三个一起在这里死去算了。不如杀了王妃，我和儿子的性命就能保全了，这样想着，拔出宝剑，准备杀王妃。这时，王子善行抓住了国王的手，问道：现在您想做什么？父王眼中含着泪水，对王子说道：我想杀了你的母亲，尊贵的王妃，来保全你的性命。即使不杀母亲，我们也会死去。我死了或者活着都可以，为了保全你的性命，我想杀了你的母亲，尊贵的王妃。然后，王子善行对父王说道：如果杀了王妃，我不会吃她的肉的。无论在哪里，儿子吃母亲的肉是不可能的，如果我也要死去，父王为什么要杀我呢？不要让父母的性命得以保全。父王听到这样的话，立刻昏倒在地，在地上打滚，对王子说道：你像我的眼睛一样，谁会挖出自己的眼睛呢？

Lamenting in this way, pausing slightly, if the enemy catches up, the danger to life is inevitable. If we embark on the road, we will be threatened by hunger and thirst, and our lives will be in danger. The king and queen, threatened by such suffering, cried out loudly, fell to the ground, and fainted. After a long time, they woke up and thought, let's just die here together, all three of us. It would be better to kill the queen and save my and my son's lives, thinking this, they drew their sword and prepared to kill the queen. At this time, Prince Good Deeds grabbed the king's hand and asked: What do you intend to do now? The father king, with tears filling his eyes, said to the prince: I intend to kill your mother, the noble queen, to save your life. Even if I don't kill your mother, we will die. Whether I live or die is fine, but for the sake of saving your life, I intend to kill your mother, the noble queen. Then, Prince Good Deeds said to the father king: If you kill the queen, I will not eat her flesh. Nowhere is it possible for a son to eat his mother's flesh, and if I am to die as well, why would the father king kill me? Do not allow the lives of my parents to be saved. The father king, hearing these words, immediately fainted and fell to the ground, rolling on the ground, and said to the prince: You are like my eyes, who would pluck out their own eyes?
