and also those who do not possess form, and those who have perception that are neither with form nor without form, and those up to those who have perception of self-boundary, and those who do not have boundary, and those up to those who have perception of self-boundary and also do not have boundary, and those who have perception that are neither with boundary nor without boundary, and those up to those who have perception of oneness, and those who have perception of difference, and those who have perception of smallness, and those who have perception of limitlessness, and those who are solely blissful, and those who are solely suffering, and those who are with bliss and suffering, and those who have perception that are neither with bliss nor suffering, these, monks, are based on the sixteen grounds, from what is called 'relying on what' to what is called 'manifestly speaking and manifestly expressing'. Some ascetics and brahmins contemplate the later end. Those who speak of being conscious, some say that they are conscious. All of them are based on these sixteen grounds. There is no more or less than that. The Tathagata knows it exactly as it is. Even more than that, it knows it exactly as it is. Thus, those who have gone to see hold in this way. In this way, they regard it as supreme. In this way, they take it. In this way, they practice. Going is like this. Birth is like this. The future life is like this, the Tathagata knows it exactly as it is. Even more than that, it knows it exactly as it is. The Tathagata knows them exactly as they are. Even more than that, it knows it exactly as it is, and does not regard it as supreme. Since it is not regarded as supreme, having known oneself as having passed beyond sorrow, one understands that all feelings arise and cease, and knows that this is suffering, and that this is the definite cause of suffering. Monks, whatever dharmas appear deep and profound to others, which are completely pure and completely refined, I have explained them having become fully enlightened through my own direct knowledge. And others also, whatever is true to the Tathagata,

Speaking well and articulating well. Monks, what are the dharmas that others consider profound, appear to be profound, are completely pure, and are completely tamed, those are what I have declared after realizing complete perfect enlightenment with my own direct knowledge. What is it that others also speak well and articulate well about the Tathagata as it is in reality? Monks, some ascetics and Brahmins contemplate the future limit and speak of it as having perception. They all say, "I am one with perception," and some explicitly say and express this, which is based on these eight grounds. Those wise ascetics and Brahmins, relying on what, dwelling where, and establishing their dwelling on what, contemplate the future limit and speak of it as without perception, they all say, "I am one without perception," and some explicitly say and express this, which is based on these eight grounds. Monks, some ascetics and Brahmins have such views and speak thus: "From now on, I am one with form and also with perception, from now on, I am without form, I am both with form and without form, I am neither with form nor without form, and also not with perception, from now on, I am with boundaries and also with perception, from now on, I am without boundaries, I am both with boundaries and without boundaries, I am neither with boundaries nor without boundaries, and also not with perception," this is the eighth ground. Relying on what, etc., is the same as before. Some ascetics and Brahmins contemplate the future limit and speak of it as without perception. They all say, "I am one without perception," and some explicitly say and express this, all of which is based on these eight grounds, neither more nor less. The Tathagata fully knows those as they are in reality, and even more fully knows them as they are in reality. Therefore, going to such wrong views, holding on to such things, etc., is the same as before. Monks, what are the dharmas that others consider profound, appear to be profound, etc., is the same as before. Monks, what are the dharmas?
