། ལྷ་གཞན་ཡང་གལ་ཏེ་བདག་ཅག་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ་བ། བྱམས་པའི་བདག་ཉིད་ཅན། སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་མཉེས་གཤིན་པ། འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་ཡོངས་སུ་སྐྱོང་བར་མཛད་པ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་སྐུ་ལ་སོག་ལེས་གཅོད་པར་བགྱིད་ན་ངེས་པར་འཕྲལ་དུ་རང་གི་ལས་ཀྱིས་དམྱལ་བར་ལྟུང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་སྨྲས་པ། བུ་དག་ངའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་བཟོད་པའི་བདུད་རྩི་ཐ་མའི་བར་ཆད་ཁྱེད་ཅག་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག །དེ་བས་ན་ཚུར་ཤོག །ཇི་སྲིད་དུ་བྲམ་ཟེ་འདི་གསོན་པ་དེ་སྲིད་དུ་ངའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ལ་གྲོགས་བྱ་བའི་ཕྱིར་མྱུར་དུ་ངའི་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཕྱེད་རོ་སྨད་ཆོད་ཅིག །དེ་ནས་ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་སྐྱེས་བུ་ཤིང་མཁན་གཉིས་ཇི་ལྟར་དེ་ལ་ཀུན་དུ་འཇུག་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དེ་ལྟར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབས་སོ། །ཡང་བར་སྐབས་དེར་སྲོག་ཆགས་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་དུ་མ་འདུས་པ་རྣམས་དང་། ནམ་མཁའི་ངོས་ན་ལྷ་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་དུ་མ་རྣམས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ དེའི་ཤིན་ཏུ་དཀའ་བ་དང་། བ་སྤུ་ལྡང་བའི་ལས་དེ་བལྟ་བར་འདོད་ནས་འདུས་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་མཆོག་ཏུ་དགའ་བསི་རང་གི་ལུས་ཡོངས་སུ་གཏོང་བར་འདོད་ནས་སློང་བ་དེ་ལ་བྱམས་པས་ཁྱབ་པར་བྱས་ཏེ་འཕྲལ་དུ་སེང་གེའི་ཁྲི་ལས་བབས་སོ། །དགེ་སློང་དག་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་དཔལ་གྱི་སྡེ་སེང་གེའི་ཁྲི་ལས་བབས་པའི་རྗེས་ཐོགས་ཉིད་ལ་འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་གདུགས་དང་། རྒྱལ་མཚན་དང་། བ་དན་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་ཨ་རིཥྛ་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་འདུད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཨ་རིཥྛའི་ཕྱོགས་བཞིར་སྐར་མདའ་ལྟུང་བ་དང་། གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ན་གནས་པའི་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་དང་བྲལ་བའི་ཉམ་ཐག་པས་སྒྲ་བསྒྲགས་པ། བྲམ་ཟེ་སྡིག་པ་ཅན་འདིས་རྒྱལ་པོ་དཔལ་གྱི་སྡེ་གསོད་པར་འགྱུར་གྱིས་མྱུར་དུ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འདི་ནས་ཕྱིར་ཕྱུང་ཤིག །དེ་ནས་ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་ཇི་ལྟར་སྒྲ་སུས་ཀྱང་མ་ཐོས་པ་དེ་ལྟར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབས་ཤིང་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་དེ་རྨོངས་པར་བྱས་སོ། །བར་སྣང་དང་ས་ལ་རྒྱུ་བའི་གནོད་སྦྱིན་རྣམས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་རང་གི་ལུས་ལ་ལྟོས་པ་མེད་པར་ཤེས་ནས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་དྲག་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་གདུངས་ནས་ཉམ་ཐག་པའི་ང་རོས་ཆོ་ངེས་འདེབས་པར་བརྩམས་ཏེ། ཀྱི་ཧུད་རྒྱལ་པོ་དཔལ་གྱི་སྡེ་འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་ཡོངས་སུ་སྐྱོང་བར་བྱེད་པ། སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བ། ཐམས་ཅད་ནས་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་ལུས་གཏོང་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །

诸位天人，如果我等二人用锯子锯您这位大慈大悲、慈爱有加、令一切众生喜悦、统治整个赡部洲的身体，必定会立刻因自己的业力而堕入地狱。菩萨说道：孩子们，你们不要阻碍我菩萨的忍辱甘露的最后障碍。因此，过来吧！只要这位婆罗门活着，为了帮助我证得菩提，迅速锯掉我身体的一半。然后，天帝释提桓因加持两位木匠，使他们能够完全投入其中。此外，当时聚集了成百上千的众生，以及天空中的成百上千的天人，他们想要观看菩萨那极其艰难和令人毛骨悚然的行为，于是聚集在一起。然后，菩萨极其欢喜，想要完全布施自己的身体，以慈爱遍布向他乞求的人，立刻从狮子座上下来。诸位比丘，菩萨吉祥军从狮子座上下来之后，整个赡部洲的伞盖、胜幢和旗帜都向国王的宫殿阿里ཥṭ嘎拉瓦（Ariṣṭa-gala-va）致敬。王宫城市阿里ཥṭ的四个方向都落下流星，城中居住的民众因与菩萨分离而痛苦地发出声音：这个邪恶的婆罗门将要杀死国王吉祥军，迅速将他从这个城市驱逐出去！然后，天帝释提桓因加持，使任何人都听不到声音，并使民众陷入迷惑。游走于天空和地面的夜叉们，得知菩萨不顾惜自己的身体，因剧烈的痛苦而折磨，开始发出悲惨的哭喊声：唉！国王吉祥军，统治整个赡部洲，慈爱一切众生，从一切方面完全布施身体啊！

O gods, if we two were to cut with a saw the body of you who are greatly compassionate, full of love, pleasing to all sentient beings, and ruling the entire Jambudvipa, we would surely fall into hell immediately by our own actions. The Bodhisattva said: Children, do not hinder the final obstacle to my Bodhisattva's nectar of patience. Therefore, come here! As long as this Brahmin lives, quickly cut off half of my body in order to help me attain enlightenment. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, blessed the two carpenters so that they could fully engage in it. Also, at that time, hundreds of thousands of creatures gathered, and hundreds of thousands of gods in the sky gathered, wanting to see the Bodhisattva's extremely difficult and hair-raising actions. Then, the Bodhisattva was extremely happy, wanting to completely give away his body, and immediately descended from the lion throne, pervading with love the one who was begging. Monks, immediately after the Bodhisattva Palakirti descended from the lion throne, all the umbrellas, banners, and flags of the entire Jambudvipa bowed to the king's palace of Ariṣṭa-gala-va. Meteors fell in the four directions of the royal palace city of Ariṣṭa, and the people living in the city cried out in distress at being separated from the Bodhisattva: This evil Brahmin is going to kill King Palakirti, quickly drive him out of this city! Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, blessed it so that no one could hear the sound, and made the people confused. The yakshas who roamed in the sky and on the earth, knowing that the Bodhisattva did not care for his own body, were tormented by intense suffering and began to utter lamentations in a miserable voice: Alas! King Palakirti, who rules the entire Jambudvipa, is compassionate to all sentient beings, and completely gives his body in every way!

此后，又一位住在王宫里的天神，得知菩萨要这样完全布施自己的身体，便开始哀叹，并且这样说道：‘怎么现在来了这样的乞丐，使得拥有诸多功德的国王吉祥军完全不能活命了呢？’然后，菩萨向四方观看，开始立下真实的誓愿：‘凡是住在这座城市里的天神、龙、夜叉、非人等，请听我说！我将在此布施，是殊胜的布施，完全布施自己的身体。我完全布施自己的身体，不是为了国王，不是为了天界，不是为了帝释天，不是为了梵天，不是为了转轮王，而是为了我能够证得无上正等觉，救度尚未得度的众生，解脱尚未解脱的众生，安慰尚未得到安慰的众生，引领尚未完全从痛苦中解脱的众生。以此真谛和真实之语，愿我的努力结出果实！愿我证得菩提后，出现些许征兆！’说完，他对婆罗门说道：‘婆罗门，愿你的所有愿望都实现！愿你心中的希望都圆满！愿我也能圆满无上菩提！’然后，菩萨向亲属和城市居民表示宽恕，安慰了贫困和病人，对那两位木匠说道：‘善良的人们，过来！只要这位婆罗门还没有死去，就用双锯锯开我的身体，直到肚脐！我也要用慈悲遍及所有被痛苦所困扰的众生。’说完，他以慈悲之心遍布四方，让一个人从背后扶住他，立即伸直双腿，仰面躺下。比丘们，菩萨刚一躺下，大地就发生了六种震动。然后

Then, a deity residing in the palace, knowing that the Bodhisattva was about to completely give away his body in such a manner, began to lament and said: 'How is it that now such a beggar has come, causing the King Shri Sena, who possesses many virtues, to be completely unable to live?' Then, the Bodhisattva looked in the four directions and began to make a true aspiration: 'Whoever are the gods, nagas, yakshas, and non-humans residing in this city, listen to me! I am giving here, it is a supreme giving, completely giving my body. This complete giving of my body is not for the sake of a king, not for the sake of heaven, not for the sake of Indra, not for the sake of Brahma, not for the sake of a universal monarch, but rather, so that I may awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, liberate sentient beings who have not been liberated, release those who have not been released, comfort those who have not been comforted, and lead those who have not completely passed beyond sorrow. By this truth and these words of truth, may my effort be fruitful! May some signs appear when I awaken!' Having said this, he spoke to the Brahmin: 'Brahmin, may your every thought be fulfilled! May the hope in your heart be completely fulfilled! May my unsurpassed enlightenment also be completely fulfilled!'
