མ་ནས་ངུ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བདག་གིས་དེ་རྣམས་ལ་དབུགས་དབྱུང་བའི་ཕྱིར་ལྷ་མོའི་ཚིག་རྒྱས་པར་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་བདག་འདི་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཁྲི་ལ་བསྐྱོན་ཏེ་འདིར་ཁྱེར་ཏེ་འོངས་སོ། །དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་ནས་ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གདོང་མཆི་མའི་རླབས་ཀྱིས་གང་བ་ལྟ་བུར་བདག་ཉིད་ཉེ་བར་སྟོན་ཅིང་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ། བདག་ནི་དབུལ་ཞིང་ན་བ་དང་། །རྒན་པ་དང་ནི་བྲམ་ཟེ་ཉིད། །རང་གི་སྐུ་ཕྱེད་སྩལ་བ་ཡིས། །རྙེད་དཀའི་སྲོག་ནི་སྩལ་དུ་གསོལ། །བདག་གི་སྲོག་ནི་སྒྲུབ་བྱེད་པའི། །སྦྱིན་པ་ཐུགས་རྗེས་སྩལ་དུ་གསོལ། །དོན་གྱི་མཆོག་ཕྱིར་སྦྱིན་པ་ནི། །སྐུ་ཕྱེད་སྦྱིན་པར་སྩལ་དུ་གསོལ། །ཉིད་ཀྱི་སྐུ་ཡི་ཕྱེད་སྩལ་བས། །བསོད་ནམས་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ལྟར་རྒྱ་ཆེ། །དེ་བཞིན་མཁའ་ལྟར་མཐའ་མེད་པའི། །བསོད་ནམས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར། །བདག་གི་ཚོར་བ་དྲག་པོ་དང་། །བཀྲེས་སྐོམ་མི་བཟད་ལ་གཟིགས་ནས། །མཆོག་ཏུ་ཐུགས་རྗེ་མཛད་ནས་ནི། །སྐུ་ཡི་ཕྱེད་ནི་བདག་ལ་སྩོལ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་དགེ་ཁྱོད་ཆོས་ལ་གནས། །གལ་ཏེ་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་ཉིད་མཉམ་བཞེད་ན། །བདག་ལ་སྐུ་ཕྱེད་འདིར་སྩོལ་དེ་རིང་ནི། །ཤིན་ཏུ་རྙེད་དཀའི་སྲོག་ནི་ཐོབ་པར་མཛོད། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོའི་སྐུ་ཡི་ཕྱེད། །ཤིན་ཏུ་གཏང་དཀའ་བདག་སྩོལ་ལ། །ཆོས་དང་དེ་བཞིན་གྲགས་པ་ཡིས། །འགྲོ་བ་ཀུན་ལ་ཁྱབ་པར་མཛོད། །དེ་ནས་ཚིག་འདི་ཐོས་པ་དང་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་སྔོན་གོམས་པའི་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བའི་བག་ཆགས་བློ་ལ་བསྒོས་པས་སྙིང་ རྗེས་སེམས་འདར་ཞིང་སློང་བ་དེ་དབུགས་དབྱུང་བའི་ཕྱིར་སྨྲས་པ། བྲམ་ཟེ་ཆེན་པོ་མ་འཇིགས་ཤིག །ད་རིང་པོ་མི་ཐོགས་པར་ལུས་འདི་རྫོགས་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་། ཡིད་ལ་རེ་བ་ཡོངས་སུ་རྫོགས་པར་འགྱུར་གྱིས། གཡོ་མེད་པའི་སེམས་ཀྱིས་ཁྱོད་ལ་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཕྱེད་སྦྱིན་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཡིད་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བ་དང་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་དེ་སྨྲས་པ། ཀྱེ་མ་རང་གི་ལུས་སློང་བ། །ཡུན་མི་རིང་བར་བལྟ་བར་བྱ། །ང་ཡི་ཡན་ལག་གཏང་བ་ནི། །དཀའ་བར་འགྱུར་བ་མ་ཡིན་ནོ། །ཇི་ལྟར་ཡབ་ཀྱི་བུ་གཅིག་ང་ཡིན་ཡང་། །དེ་ལྟ་ན་ཡང་ང་ཡི་ལུས་འདི་ཁྱེར། །ལུས་ནི་བྱིན་པས་བྱང་ཆུབ་རྙེད་གྱུར་ཅིང་། །འགྲོ་འདི་ཤིན་ཏུ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ལས་གྲོལ་ཤོག །དེ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་བྲམ་ཟེའི་ཆ་བྱད་འཛིན་པ་རྣམ་པ་འདི་ལྟ་བུའི་ཚིག་སྨྲ་བ་ཐོས་པ་དང་། ཡིད་རབ་ཏུ་མགུ་ཞིང་དགའ་བས་མིག་གདངས་བཞིན་དུ་བྲམ་ཟེ་དེ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། བྲམ་ཟེ་ལུས་འདིའི་ཕྱེད་ལེགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བར་ཆད་མེད་པར་ལེགས་པར་ལོང་ཤིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་ནས་འཁོར་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་བལྟས་ཏེ་སྐྱེས་བུ་གཞན་ཞིག་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཀྱེ་སྐྱེས་བུ་ཁྱོད་རིངས་པར་སོང་ལ་སོག་ལེ་ཤིན་ཏུ་རྣོ་བ་ཁྱེར་ལ་ཤོག་ཤིག །དེ་ནས་སྐྱེས་བུ་དེ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་ཀུན་ཏུ་རྨོངས་པར་བྱས་པས་ཤིན་ཏུ་རིངས་པ་རིངས་པར་སོག་ལེ་ཉེ་བར་ཁྱེར་ཏེ་འོངས་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། ལྷ་སོག་ལེ་འཚལ་ཏེ་མཆིས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་རིངས་པ་རིངས་པར་བློན་པོ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱེད་ཅག་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཇི་སྲིད་དུ་བྲམ་ཟེ་འདི་འཆི་བདག་གིས་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཕ་རོལ་དུ་མ་ཁྱེར་བ་དེ་སྲིད་དུ་ངའི་རོ་སྨད་སོག་ལེས་མྱུར་དུ་ཆོད་ཅིག་དང་། ངས་བྲམ་ཟེ་འདི་ལ་སྦྱིན་པ་བྱའོ། །དེ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་མཆོག་ཏུ་མི་བཟད་པའི་ཚིག་སྨྲས་པ་ཐོས་པས་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལྷུང་བས་ཀུན་དུ་སྐྲག་པ་བཞིན་དུ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ན་གནས་པའི་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཡི་མུག་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ། སྡུག་བསྔལ་ལོ། །སྡུག་བསྔལ་ལོ་ཞེས་གསང་མཐོན་པོས་ངུ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བློན་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་བློ་གྲོས་ཆེན་པོ་ཟུག་རྔུས་གནད་དུ་བསྣུན་པ་བཞིན་དུ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་དྲག་པོས་ཉམ་ཐག་སྟེ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་སྐུ་ལ་ཆགས་པ་མེད་པར་ཡོངས་སུ་གཏོང་ངོ་སྙམ་བསམས་ནས་གདོང་ ལ་མཆི་མ་ཆར་ལྟར་བབ་པ་དང་། རྐང་པ་གཉིས་ལ་བཏུད་དེ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་བཟློག་པའི་ཕྱིར་སྨྲས་པ། ལྷ་འདི་མི་སྲིད་དེ། འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ་ལུས་སོག་ལེས་བཅད་ནས་བཅད་པའི་ལུས་ནི་ངེས་པར་འཆི་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། འཆི་ན་ལས་སུ་མི་རུང་བའི་རོར་གྱུར་ལ། ལས་སུ་མི་རུང་བས་ནི་བྲམ་ཟེ་ལ་ཡང་བྱས་པ་དོན་མ་མཆིས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །གང་གཞན་གྱི་ཡན་ལག་བཅད་པ་གཞན་གྱི་ཡན་ལག་ལ་འབྱོར་བར་འགྱུར་བ་འདི་ཡང་གནས་མ་མཆིས་སོ། །དེ་ལྟ་ན་ནི་ལྷའི་ངལ་བ་ཡང་དོན་མ་མཆིས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེ་བས་ན་བཟོད་པར་མཛོད་ལ་བདག་ཉིད་དོན་མ་མཆིས་པར་གསོད་པར་མི་མཛད་ཅིང་ཉིད་ཀྱི་སྲོག་ཡོངས་སུ་མི་གཏོང་བར་གསོལ། དེ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་བློན་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་བློ་གྲོས་ཆེན་པོ་དབུགས་དབྱུང་བའི་ཕྱིར་སྨྲས་པ། བློ་གྲོས་ཆེན་པོ་ཞོག་ཞོག །ངས་ནམ་ཞིག་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཐོབ་ནས་འཁོར་བར་རྒྱུ་བའི་སེམས་ཅན་བསྒྲལ་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ཡིད་ལ་རེ་བ་འདི་ལ་ངའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་བར་ཆད་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག །བུ་དག་གཞན་ཡང་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཡུན་རིང་པོར་སྡུག་པ་

从……开始哭泣。然后我为了让他们喘口气，详细地说了天女的话。然后我被这些人抬到宝座上，带到这里来了。说完这些后，天神之王帝释天，像脸上充满了泪水一样，亲自靠近菩萨，说道：大国王，我贫穷且生病，年老而且是婆罗门。请您施舍自己的半身，赐予我难得的生命。请您以慈悲施舍我，成就我的生命。为了至上的意义，请您施舍半身。施舍您的半身，功德如海般广大。同样，功德如虚空般无边无际，您将会获得。请您看到我强烈的感受，以及难以忍受的饥渴，请您极度慈悲，将您的半身施舍给我。菩萨，善良的您安住于法。如果想要证得一切智，今天请您将半身施舍给我，让我获得这极其难得的生命。大国王的半身，是极其难以施舍的，请您施舍给我，愿以法和名声，遍布一切众生。然后听到这些话后，菩萨因为先前习惯的善根习气在心中萌发，慈悲心颤抖，为了让乞求者喘口气，说道：伟大的婆罗门，不要害怕！今天不久，这个身体就会圆满，心中的愿望也会完全实现。我会以毫不动摇的心，将身体的一半施舍给你。说完后，菩萨心中非常欢喜，用偈颂说道：唉！乞求自己的身体，不久将会看到。我布施肢体，并非难事。即使我是父亲唯一的儿子，即便如此，拿走我的身体吧。以布施身体而证得菩提，愿此众生从极度的痛苦中解脱！然后菩萨听到帝释天以婆罗门形象说出这样的话，心中非常满足和欢喜。

From...began to cry. Then, in order to give them a breather, I spoke in detail the words of the goddess. Then I was carried here on a throne by these people. After saying this, the king of the gods, Indra, showing himself close to the Bodhisattva as if his face was filled with waves of tears, said: Great King, I am poor and sick, old and indeed a Brahmin. Please bestow half of your body, grant me a life that is hard to find. Please grant me the alms of compassion that accomplish my life. For the sake of the supreme meaning, please bestow the alms of half your body. By bestowing half of your body, merit will be as vast as the ocean. Likewise, merit will be as limitless as the sky, and you will attain it. Please look upon my intense feelings and unbearable hunger and thirst, and with supreme compassion, bestow half of your body upon me. Bodhisattva, virtuous one, you abide in the Dharma. If you wish to attain omniscience, please bestow half of your body upon me here today, and let me obtain this extremely rare life. Great King's half of the body, is extremely difficult to give away, please bestow it upon me, may it spread to all beings through Dharma and fame. Then, upon hearing these words, the Bodhisattva, because the habitual imprints of previously practiced virtuous roots sprouted in his mind, his heart trembled with compassion, and in order to give the beggar a breather, he said: Great Brahmin, do not be afraid! Before long today, this body will be complete, and the wishes in your heart will be completely fulfilled. I will give you half of my body with an unwavering mind. After saying this, the Bodhisattva was very happy in his heart, and said in verse: Alas! Begging for one's own body, will soon be seen. It is not difficult for me to give away limbs. Even though I am the only son of my father, even so, take this body of mine. By giving the body, may enlightenment be attained, and may this being be liberated from extreme suffering! Then the Bodhisattva heard Indra, holding the guise of a Brahmin, speaking such words, and his heart was very satisfied and joyful.

也如是语调般地对婆罗门说：婆罗门，此身的一半请好好地接受，毫无阻碍地好好地享用吧。说完后看着所有那些眷属，对另外一个男子说：喂，男子，你快去拿一把非常锋利的刀来。然后那个男子被帝释天完全迷惑了，非常迅速地拿来了一把刀，靠近后说道：天神，刀已经找到了。然后菩萨迅速地对大臣说：你们要在我还没被死主带到另一个世界之前，用刀迅速地切下我的下半身，我要把这个布施给这个婆罗门。然后菩萨听到说了极其难以忍受的话语，如同金刚坠落般到处惊恐，城市里居住的所有人们都变得非常沮丧，痛苦啊！痛苦啊！高声哭泣起来。然后大智慧的大臣如同被箭射中要害一般，被剧烈的痛苦折磨着，心想菩萨对自己身体毫无执着地完全施舍出去，脸上眼泪如下雨般落下，跪在双脚前，为了劝阻菩萨而说道：天神，这不可能啊！比如用刀切断身体，切断的身体必定会死亡，死亡就会变成无用的尸体，无用的话，对婆罗门来说也是毫无意义的。如果切断别人的肢体，别人的肢体就能得到，这也是不可能的。如果那样的话，天神的辛劳也是毫无意义的。因此请忍耐，不要毫无意义地杀害自己，恳请您不要舍弃自己的生命。然后菩萨为了安慰大智慧的大臣，说道：大智慧，停止吧！我什么时候获得无上正等正觉，就要救度在轮回中流转的众生，不要对心中这个希望造成我证得菩提的障碍。孩子们，其他还有非常长久的痛苦。

He spoke to the Brahmin in the same tone, saying: Brahmin, please accept half of this body properly and enjoy it well without any hindrance. After saying this, he looked at all those attendants and said to another man: Hey, man, go quickly and bring a very sharp knife. Then that man was completely bewildered by Indra, and he quickly brought a knife and approached, saying: God, the knife has been found. Then the Bodhisattva quickly said to the minister: Before this Brahmin is taken to another world by the Lord of Death, quickly cut off my lower body with a knife, and I will give this as alms to this Brahmin. Then the Bodhisattva heard the extremely unbearable words, and like being terrified by the fall of a vajra, all the people living in the city became very depressed, crying out loudly, "Suffering! Suffering!" Then the great wise minister, as if struck in a vital spot by an arrow, was tormented by intense pain, thinking that the Bodhisattva was completely giving away his body without any attachment, tears falling like rain on his face, kneeling at his feet, and said to dissuade the Bodhisattva: God, this is impossible! For example, cutting off the body with a knife, the cut body will surely die, and death will turn into a useless corpse. If it is useless, it will also be meaningless to the Brahmin. If cutting off the limbs of others could benefit them, that is also impossible. If that were the case, the God's efforts would also be meaningless. Therefore, please be patient and do not kill yourself meaninglessly, and I beg you not to abandon your life. Then the Bodhisattva, to comfort the great wise minister, said: Great wisdom, stop! When I attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, I will save sentient beings wandering in samsara, do not hinder my attainment of enlightenment with this hope in my heart. Children, there are other very long-lasting sufferings.

而且所有聚合的事物，也必定会走向分离的终结，这就是世间的本性啊。说完，菩萨看着锯子，心想：这锯子会成为我无上圆满菩提资粮的一部分。又对大臣说：在这婆罗门未死之前，你快点把我的下半身锯掉！如果这婆罗门死了，我的愿望就会落空。就这样，大智慧的大臣明白了菩萨如此这般要舍弃自身一切的想法后，脸上泪如雨下，从菩萨的脚开始，用嘴亲吻，发出悲伤的哀嚎声：唉！怎么会这样！竟然让统治赡部洲一切，慈悲广大，具足众多功德，令一切众生欢喜的天神，今天就要面临无常的力量了。唉！无常的力量真是强大啊！那些在世间能亲眼见到天神的人，真是太有福报了。说完，他久久地凝视着菩萨的脸，不忍直视天神的无常，心想，就在那一瞬间，他闭上眼睛，昏厥倒地。然后，菩萨对另外两个木匠说：好人们，为了帮助我圆满布施波罗蜜多，你们两个拿起锯子，快点把我的下半身锯掉吧！要让婆罗门的愿望圆满，也要让我的获得菩提的愿望圆满。然后，那两个木匠带着像被烟雾笼罩般的泪眼，跪拜在菩萨的脚下，说道：天神说这样的话是不合道理的。为什么呢？如果其他人做了不合天神心意的事，我们也会阻止的。怎么能用刀剑砍天神您的身体呢？

And also, all things that have come together will surely come to an end in separation; this is the nature of the world. Having said this, the Bodhisattva looked at the saw and thought, "This saw will become a part of the collection of my unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment." And he said to the minister, "Before this Brahmin dies, quickly cut off the lower half of my body! If this Brahmin dies, my wish will be fruitless." In this way, the great minister, with his great wisdom, understood the Bodhisattva's intention to completely give up his own body in such a way, and with a face from which tears fell like rain, starting from the Bodhisattva's feet, he kissed them with his mouth and uttered cries of lamentation with a voice of compassion, saying, "Alas! How can it be that the god who rules all of Jambudvipa, who is greatly compassionate, endowed with many qualities, and pleasing to all sentient beings, should today be closely approached by the power of impermanence? Alas! The power of impermanence is truly great! Those who see the god in the world are fortunate indeed." Having looked at the Bodhisattva's face for a very long time without blinking his eyes, he thought, "I cannot bear to look at the impermanence of the god," and in that very instant, he closed his eyes, fainted, and fell to the ground. Then the Bodhisattva said to two other carpenters, "Good sirs, in order to help me perfect the perfection of giving, both of you take the saw and quickly cut off the lower half of my body! Fulfill the Brahmin's wish! May my wish to attain enlightenment be fulfilled!" Then the two carpenters, with tearful faces like those of people in a misty land, touched the Bodhisattva's feet and said, "It is not reasonable for the god to say such things. Why is that? If someone else does something displeasing to the god's heart, we will prevent it. How can we possibly use swords to strike the god's own body?"
