Filled with wealth, disputes and battles subsided, riots and internal strife, theft and famine, diseases disappeared, and there were rice, sugarcane trees, cattle, and buffaloes. There was no harm, and the kingdom was ruled carefully, like treating a single son with thorns stirred up. Later, for a while, he played and rejoiced with the queen. As he played and rejoiced, the queen became pregnant. After eight or nine months, she gave birth to a son, who was handsome, pleasing to the eye, and beautiful, with all limbs and features complete. Then, a birth celebration was held for him, and he was named Kapina. Then, the boy Kapina was entrusted to eight nurses: two to raise him on their laps, two to nurse him, two to clean his dirt, and two to play with him. These eight nurses raised him with milk, yogurt, butter, ghee, cream essence, and other various excellent foods, causing him to grow rapidly like a lotus in a lake. On the same day that King's son Kapina was born, the sons of eighty thousand ministers were also born, all of whom possessed great strength. Their names were also given appropriately according to their respective circumstances. Later, King Tokden died, and his son Kapina was installed as king in his place. All eighty thousand sons of the ministers were appointed as ministers of the king. Later, the great King Kapina, attended by eighty thousand ministers, went to hunt wild animals. He looked around at all the great armies in front and behind and asked the ministers: 'Who else has such a great army like mine now?' Then the ministers who were skilled at speaking replied, 'Not even the gods have such a thing.' Then, some merchants from the central region went to the south, and they offered gifts to the great King Kapina. Then the king said, 'O merchants, who is the king of that country?' The merchants replied, 'In some realms of the gods, many gather together to hold power.'

They do. In some places, kings rule. Then, after a while, King Kapina sent messengers to six great cities, including Shravasti, saying: If you are standing, come quickly without sitting down. If you do not do so, you will be severely punished. Having heard these words, the kings residing in the six great cities were frightened, scared, and unhappy. They gathered together like those with a cold disease, discussed, and then arrived in Shravasti. Then they went to the Blessed One and reported the matter in detail to the Blessed One. Then the Blessed One reassured them and said: Bring that messenger to me. Then they told the messenger: We have a king above kings, go and see him first. Then the Blessed One, knowing that the messenger was coming, transformed Prince Jeta's Grove into a city like that of the gods, decorated with four kinds of jewels. The Four Great Kings were arranged like gatekeepers. There were also elephants like the sons of the earth-protecting elephant king, horses like those with the power of clouds, chariots like those that make pleasant sounds, and fierce yakshas were also arranged there. The Blessed One himself transformed into the attire of a Chakravartin king. He also manifested a lion throne as high as seven palm trees, and the Blessed One sat upon it. Then the messenger, seeing such a beautiful sight, was greatly amazed. Then the Blessed One wrote a letter and said to the messenger: Tell King Kapina, I tell you, as soon as you see this letter, even if you are standing, come quickly without sitting down. If you do not come, I will come with a great army. Then the messenger departed and told King Kapina all the letters and messages. Then King Kapina, attended by eight thousand ministers, gradually went and arrived in Shravasti. The kings under the sun welcomed King Kapina and escorted him into the city with great respect.
