The doors of (good destinies) were opened, and like this, placing me among gods and humans, my father did not do for me, my mother did not do for me, the king did not do for me, the gods did not do for me, the assembly of family and relatives did not do for me, the previous teachers did not do for me, the ascetics and Brahmins did not do for me! Again he said: The path of evil destinies, full of many faults, Extremely unbearable, you cut off with your power. The gate to heaven, abundant with merit, is opened. I have also attained the path of sorrowless Nirvana. Today, I have obtained the eye that abandons faults, extremely pure, relying on you. I have crossed to the other shore of the ocean of suffering, and have attained the state of peace that pleases the noble ones. The supreme among men, worshiped by men and gods, having abandoned the sickness of birth, old age, and death, difficult to see in thousands of existences, the capable one, seeing you today is fruitful. Then, the one with the hanging necklace became joyful, bowed and prostrated to the two feet, circumambulated the victorious enemy (Buddha), and facing the heavenly realm, went to the heavenly realm. Then, that son of the gods who was previously a parrot, like a merchant profiting from trade, a farmer's grain flourishing, a hero victorious in battle, and a sick person freed from all diseases, with whatever wealth, the wealth that came to the Blessed One, went to his own place with that wealth. The monks, not sleeping at night and dawn, remained diligently engaged in practice, and they saw a great light appear before the Blessed One. Having seen it, they became doubtful and asked the Buddha, the Blessed One, who cuts off all doubts: Blessed One, what is this? Is it Brahma, the lord of the Saha world, or Indra, the lord of the gods, or the four great kings who have come to see the Blessed One? The Blessed One said: Monks, it is not Brahma, the lord of the Saha world, or Indra, the lord of the gods, or the four great kings who have come to see me. Did you see the parrot who invited me to rest in the forest at night? The monks replied: Blessed One, we saw him. The Blessed One said: Monks!

That dwarf, after dying, was reborn in the good heaven of the Thirty-three. The monks asked: Venerable one, what deeds did the son of the gods, who was formerly a dwarf, do that he was born as a dwarf? What deeds did he do that he was born among the gods and realized the truth? The Blessed One said: The son of the gods, who was formerly a dwarf, having accumulated the accumulation and possessed the completed causes, came like crossing a river and did and accumulated those deeds that would not be devoured by demons. Who else would experience those deeds done and accumulated by the son of the gods who was formerly a dwarf? Monks, the deeds done and accumulated do not mature in the external realm of earth, nor do they mature in the realm of water, fire, or wind. The virtuous and non-virtuous deeds done and accumulated will only mature in the aggregates, realms, and sources that are grasped. The deeds of embodied beings, Will not be exhausted even in hundreds of eons. When the accumulation and time arrive, They will ripen into their own fruit. Monks, in the past, in a bygone era, in this very fortunate eon, when the life span of beings was twenty thousand years, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, endowed with knowledge and conduct, the Gone to Bliss, Knower of the World, Guide of those to be tamed, the unsurpassed, teacher of gods and humans, the Buddha, the Blessed One, named Light Treasury, appeared in the world, and he resided in the city of Varanasi. Then, after a while, there was a lay follower there who relaxed his vows, and therefore the maturation of that deed caused him to be born as a dwarf. He made my mind happy, therefore he was born as a god. He protected the remaining basis of vows, therefore he realized the truth. Monks, therefore, deeds that are definitely black will definitely have a black result. Deeds that are definitely white will definitely have a white result. Mixed deeds will have a mixed result. Monks, therefore, regarding deeds that are definitely black and
