Then, after some time, he longed to see the Blessed One, with his hands folded, his mind filled with longing. Then, the ministers said: O god, why are you unhappy? The king said: I have not seen the Blessed One for a long time. I have not seen the Sugata for a long time. Now I want to see the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One entered the midday rest, and with his pure and extraordinary divine ear, he heard the wish of King Rūpa-citta. At that time, there was nothing that the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, did not know, did not see, did not understand, or did not comprehend.

Entering into the act of benefiting others. Possessing a singular protection. Uniquely valiant. Incomparable. Not speaking a second language. Abiding in tranquility and insight. Making the three knowledges manifest. Well-trained in the three trainings. Skilled in the foundation of the three disciplines. Having crossed the four rivers. The soles of the feet of the four legs of miraculous power are extremely firm. Having long been familiar with the four objects of gathering, and fearless with the four fearlessnesses. Uttering the great sound of the supreme lion. Completely abandoning the five branches. Completely transcending the five destinies. Possessing six branches. Completely perfecting the six perfections. Abiding in the six things to be constantly abiding in. Rich with the flowers of the seven branches of enlightenment. Teaching the eightfold path. Abiding in the nine successive abidings. Possessing the power of the ten strengths. Fame spreading in all ten directions. Those who are far superior to those who wield power over ten hundredfold, by the power of Dharma, the Buddhas observe the world with their Buddha-eyes three times during the day and three times during the night: Who is declining? Who is prospering? Who is impoverished? Who is pitiable? Who has harm? Who is impoverished, pitiable, and has harm? Who is inclined towards the lower realms? Who is falling into the lower realms? Who has fallen into the lower realms? Who shall I rescue from the lower realms and place in the heavenly realms, liberation, and fruition? Who is sinking in the mud of desire, shall I pull up by the hand? Who does not have the seven noble riches, shall I empower to wield the power of the seven noble riches? Who has not yet generated roots of virtue, shall I cause to generate? Who has already generated roots of virtue, shall I cause to fully ripen? Who has already fully ripened, shall I liberate? Thus, the wisdom of observation arises. Here it is said: The ocean is the place where aquatic creatures reside, the waves of time may pass. But for the sons to be tamed, the time of the Buddha will not pass. Then, the Blessed One, in order to benefit King Rupakaya (Gzugs can snying po), after three months of summer had passed, made Dharma robes, and after the Dharma robes were completed, put on the Dharma robes, carried the bowl, and gradually traveled through the lands, going to the forest.
