Praying to the household deity. "Jowo, I am pregnant with a son, residing and dwelling in my right abdomen. Surely a boy will be born, please rejoice!" He was overjoyed, raising his upper body and extending his right hand, saying, "The son I have longed for so long will finally appear! May my son be worthy, may he not be unworthy! May he accomplish my deeds! May he nurture me in return for being nurtured! May he enjoy my wealth! May my lineage endure for a long time! After we pass away and die, may they perform charity and accumulate merit for us, whether much or little. Wherever those two are born and go, may this merit be dedicated to them!" He spoke these joyful words. Then, realizing that she was pregnant, he placed her in a beautiful room upstairs to care for the child. When it was cold, he provided her with warming items, and when it was hot, he provided her with cooling items. He also gave her the foods recommended by the doctor, not too bitter, not too sour, not too salty, not too sweet, not too spicy, and not too astringent. Instead, he gave her foods without bitterness, sourness, saltiness, sweetness, spiciness, or astringency. She was adorned with necklaces and belts, her body decorated magnificently, like a celestial maiden wandering in a joyful garden. She moved from throne to throne and from small throne to small throne, never touching the ground. He also made sure she did not hear any unpleasant sounds. Then, the former wife, seeing how he respected and cherished the latter wife, became jealous and thought, "If she gives birth to a son, it will surely harm me. I must find a way to deal with this." For those who are completely consumed by desire, there is no hesitation to commit evil deeds. That one who faced the ugly abyss, made her believe her, and gave her an abortive medicine, which, as soon as she drank it, would cause that afflicted mother to miscarry. Then, all the relatives of the latter wife

Having gathered everything together, the former wife reproached, "You made me trust you and gave me abortion medicine, and it destroyed my child." Then, the former wife swore among the relatives, "If I gave you abortion medicine, may I become a flesh-eating demoness and eat all the children that are born." Reed-given son, what do you think? The one who became the merchant's wife is that flesh-eating demoness, because she was jealous before, she was born as a flesh-eating demoness. The maturation of the karma of lying and swearing caused her to give birth to five children day and night and eat them. Reed-given son, therefore you should strive to avoid the faults of speech, so that such faults as that flesh-eating demoness do not occur, Reed-given son, you should learn." The Blessed One spoke thus. The venerable Reed-given son, and the gods, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, and other beings also rejoiced and praised what the Blessed One had said. The twelfth volume of the hundred stories of Gambo and others, called Outer Land Hole. The Buddha, the Blessed One, was honored, revered, respected, and offered to by kings, great ministers, wealthy people, palace attendants, merchants, navigators, gods, nagas, yakshas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas. The Buddha, the Blessed One, who was offered to and known by the gods, nagas, yakshas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas, possessed great merit and obtained robes, food, bedding, cushions, medicine, and medicine.

Inside, there were five hundred hungry ghosts who ate vomit as food, ate excrement, lived on nasal mucus and urine, ate pus and blood and feces, were disgusting, and were naturally suffering. It is also said: Eating vomit and eating excrement, living on nasal mucus and urine, Pus, blood, and feces are eaten, Disgusting, naturally suffering, they dwell. In Vaishali, there was also a Brahmin who took a wife from the same caste and played and rejoiced with her. As he played and rejoiced, his wife became pregnant, and her body became foul-smelling. Then, the Brahmin summoned the fortune-tellers and asked them, and they said, "This is the power of the child in the womb." After a while, when she was eight or nine months pregnant, she gave birth to a son who was ugly in appearance, unpleasant to look at, had an ugly face, was covered in uncleanliness, and smelled foul. Although he was extremely ugly, his parents raised him because of the bond of love. He only liked unclean places, pulling hair in piles of rags and dung pits, and putting unclean things in his mouth, so his name became Dung Pit, Dung Pit. Later, as he wandered around, he was seen by the Venerable Purna, who thought to himself, "Since this one likes to be in such places, he must undoubtedly be an accomplished being, so I will ordain him." He ordained him, and he wandered around naked, and also abided in doing good. Then, as he wandered, he saw five hundred hungry ghosts dwelling in a pit in Vaishali, and because of his connection with the ripening of past karma, he went into that city's pit, and he gathered and met with them, and became happy and became friends. Later, one day, the boy Dung Pit, busy with some matter, went to Vaishali. The Blessed One also went to that city's pit, and those hungry ghosts saw the Buddha, the Blessed One, whose body was well adorned with the thirty-two major marks of a great being, beautified by the eighty minor marks, adorned with a fathom of light, and possessed of light surpassing a thousand suns.
