ང་ན་སེམས་སྡང་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་དེས་རང་གི་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དུ་གསེར་དངུལ་གྱི་ཕུང་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་སྦས་ཏེ་བཞག་ནས། དེ་དེ་ལ་ཆགས་ཏེ་ལྷག་པར་ཞེན་བཞིན་དུ་ཤིའོ། །དེ་ཤི་ནས་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་སྟེང་དུ་སྦྲུལ་གདུག་པ་སྦྲུལ་ནག་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་མིག་གདུག་པ་ཞིག་ཏུ་སྐྱེས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དེར་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་གང་སོང་བ་དེ་དག་བལྟས་པ་ཙམ་གྱིས་གསོད་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཀྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཐོག་ཐག་ཏུ་ཡང་ཆེ་གེ་མོའི་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དུ་སོང་བ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་བརླག་པར་འགྱུར་རོ་ཞེས་སྒྲ་གྲག་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོ་ལ་གསོལ་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོ་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ། སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མ་གཏོགས་པ་དེ་འདུལ་ནུས་པ་གཞན་སུ་ཞིག་ཡོད་སྙམ་མོ། ། དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོ་སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོའི་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ་ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུག་གོ །ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུག་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོ་ལ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་གཏམ་གྱིས་ཡང་དག་པར་བསྟན། ཡང་དག་པར་འཛིན་དུ་བཅུག །ཡང་དག་པར་གཟེངས་སྟོད། ཡང་དག་པར་དགའ་བར་མཛད་དོ། །ཆོས་ཀྱི་གཏམ་རྣམ་གྲངས་དུ་མས་ཡང་དག་པར་བསྟན། ཡང་དག་པར་འཛིན་དུ་བཅུག །ཡང་དག་པར་གཟེངས་བསྟོད། ཡང་དག་པར་དགའ་བར་མཛད་ནས་ཅང་མི་གསུང་བར་བཞུགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོ་སྟན་ལས་ལངས་ཏེ། བླ་གོས་ཕྲག་པ་གཅིག་ཏུ་གཟར་ནས་པུས་མོ་གཡས་པའི་ལྷ་ང་ས་ལ་བཙུགས་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ག་ལ་བ་དེ་ལོགས་སུ་ཐལ་མོ་སྦྱར་བ་བཏུད་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་འདི་ན་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་ག་གེ་མོ་ཞིག་ན་སྦྲུལ་གདུག་པ། སྦྲུལ་ནག་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་མིག་གདུག་པ་ཞིག་མཆིས་ཏེ། སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོ་བརླག་པར་བགྱིད་ལགས་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བའི་སླད་དུ་དེ་གདུལ་བར་གསོལ། དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོ་ལ་ཅང་མི་གསུང་བས་གནང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཅང་མི་གསུང་བས་གནང་བར་རིག་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ་སྟན་ལས་ལངས་ནས་སོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་མཚན་མོ་འདས་ནས་སྔ་དྲོ་ཤམ་ཐབས་དང་ཆོས་གོས་གསོལ་ཏེ་ལྷུང་བཟེད་བསྣམས་ནས་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་གཤེགས་ཏེ་བྱོན་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་འོད་ཟེར་གསེར་གྱི་ཁ་དོག་ཅན་ཉི་མ་སྟོང་གི་འོད་པས་ལྷག་པ་དག་བཀྱེ་སྟེ། དེ་དག་གིས་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་སྣང་བར་བྱས་སོ། །བསྐལ་པ་སྟོང་གི་བར་དུ་ཡོངས་སུ་བསྒོམས་པའི་བྱམས་པའི་འོད་ཟེར་དག་ཀྱང་བཀྱེ་སྟེ། དེ་དག་གིས་དེའི་ལུས་ལ་ཕོག་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་རབ་ཏུ་སིམ་པར་ གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་སྦྲུལ་གདུག་པ་དེས་ཕན་ཚུན་དུ་བལྟས་ཏེ་སུའི་མཐུས་བདག་གི་ལུས་སིམ་པར་གྱུར་ཞིག་གུ་སྙམ་པ་དང་། །དེས་སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་སྐུ་སྐྱེས་བུ་ཆེན་པོའི་མཚན་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ལེགས་པར་བརྒྱན་པ། དཔེ་བྱད་བཟང་པོ་བརྒྱད་ཅུས་མཛེས་པར་བྱས་པ། འོད་འདོམ་གང་གིས་བརྒྱན་པ། ཉི་མ་སྟོང་བས་ལྷག་པའི་འོད་མངའ་བ། རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་རི་བོ་འགྲོ་བ་ལྟ་བུ་ཀུན་ནས་བཟང་བ་མཐོང་ངོ་། །མཐོང་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་དེས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་དད་པའི་སེམས་སྐྱེད་དེ། དད་པའི་སེམས་དང་ལྡན་པར་གྱུར་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེ་དང་འཐུན་པའི་ཆོས་བསྟན་ཏེ། བཞིན་བཟངས་ཁྱོད་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་རྫས་འདི་བསྒྲུབས་པ་དེས་ན་ཁྱོད་སྦྲུལ་གདུག་པར་ལྷུང་བར་བྱས་སོ། །ད་ཡང་ང་ལ་དད་པའི་སེམས་སྐྱེད་ལ་གཏེར་འདི་ལ་ཡང་སེམས་མ་ཆགས་པར་བྱོས་དང་ལེགས་སོ། །འདི་ནས་ཤི་འཕོས་ནས་ཀྱང་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བར་སྐྱེ་ས་རེ། དེ་ནས་གང་གི་ཚེ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེ་ཚེ་རབས་དྲན་པར་མཛད་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་དེ་ངུས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེའི་ཚེ་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་དེ་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཁྱོད་ནི་དུད་འགྲོར་སྐྱེས་པ་ལ། །ད་ནི་ང་ཡིས་ཅི་བྱར་མེད། །མི་ཁོམ་པར་ནི་སྐྱེས་ཟིན་གྱིས། །དོན་མེད་ངུས་པས་ཅི་ལ་ཕན། །འདིར་ནི་རྒྱལ་བ་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན། །ང་ལ་དད་པའི་སེམས་སྐྱེད་ལ། །དུད་འགྲོའི་སྐྱེ་གནས་སྤངས་ན་ལེགས། །འོན་ཀྱང་མཐོ་རིས་འགྲོ་བར་འགྱུར། །དེ་ནས་རེ་ཞིག་ན་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་སྦྲུལ་དེ་ལྷུང་བཟེད་ཀྱི་ནང་དུ་བཅུག་སྟེ། འོད་མའི་ཚལ་དུ་བསྣམས་སོ། །དེའི་སྐབས་སུ་རྒྱལ་པོ་དང་ཡུལ་མ་ག་དྷཱའི་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་སྦྲུལ་གདུག་པ་དེ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཇི་ལྟར་བཏུལ་བ་ཐོས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་སྦྲུལ་གདུག་པ་དེས་རང་གི་ལུས་ལ་སྨད་དེ་ཁ་འཚོས་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་སེམས་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་ཏེ་ཤི་ནས། སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་པའི་ལྷ་ཡུལ་བཟང་པོར་སྐྱེས་སོ། །ལྷའི་བུའམ་ལྷའི་བུ་མོ་སྐྱེས་ནས་རིང་པོ་མ་ལོན་པ་ནི་ཆོས་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་སེམས་རྣམ་པ་གསུམ་སྐྱེ་བར་འགྱུ

Then, that venomous snake looked at each other and wondered, "Whose power has made my body so cool?" It saw the Buddha, the Blessed One, whose body was adorned with the thirty-two major marks of a great being, beautified by the eighty minor marks, surrounded by a fathom of light, possessing light surpassing a thousand suns, and perfect like a walking jewel mountain. As soon as it saw him, it developed faith in the Blessed One, and having developed faith, the Blessed One taught it the Dharma that was appropriate for it: "O good-looking one, because you have created these things, you have fallen into being a venomous snake. Now, generate faith in me, and do not be attached to this treasure, and it will be well. After dying from here, you will also be born in the hells of sentient beings." Then, when the Blessed One remembered its past life, it wept. Then, the Blessed One spoke in verse at that time: "You have been born as an animal, now I have nothing to do. You have already been born in a place without leisure, what is the use of crying meaninglessly? Here, the Victorious One is compassionate, generate faith in me, and it would be good if you could abandon the birth of an animal. Even so, you will go to the higher realms." Then, after a while, the Blessed One put the snake into the bowl and took it to the Light Garden. At that time, the king and the people of Magadha heard how the Blessed One had tamed that venomous snake. Then, that venomous snake despised its own body, opened its mouth, and died with joy in its heart for the Blessed One, and was born in the good heavenly realm of the Thirty-Three. Not long after the son of a god or the daughter of a god is born, according to the nature of Dharma, three kinds of minds will arise.
