ལ་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་གཏེར་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱང་མཐོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་དེ་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་དེ། ཀྱེ་མ་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་རྩོམ་པ་ལ་ནི་ཁྱད་པར་ཆེན་པོ་དེ་ལྟ་བུ་ཡོད་ཀྱིས། བདག་གིས་ཕྱིར་ཞིང་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་བརྩམ་པར་བྱ་གོར་མ་ཆག་སྙམ་ནས་དེས་མཉན་དུ་ཡོད་པར་དྲིལ་གྱི་སྒྲ་བསྒྲགས་ཏེ། བདག་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་དེད་དཔོན་བྱ་བར་བསྒྲགས་ནས་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་ལན་དྲུག་རྒལ་ཏེ་གྲུའི་དོན་གྲུབ་པས་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཆེན་པོ་བསྡུས་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་དགེ་འདུན་དང་བཅས་པ་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ནང་དུ་བཤོས་གསོལ་ནས། བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་བོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཁྱེའུ་ལེ་ལོ་ཅན་གྱི་རྒྱུ་གཅིག་ནས་གཅིག་ཏུ་བརྒྱུད་པ་དང་ལས་གཅིག་ནས་གཅིག་ཏུ་བརྒྱུད་པ་མཁྱེན་ནས་འཛུམ་པ་མཛད་དོ། །འདི་ནི་སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་རྣམས་གང་གི་ཚེ་འཛུམ་པ་མཛད་པའི་ཆོས་ཉིད་དེ་དེའི་ཚེ་ཞལ་གྱི་སྒོ་ནས་འོད་ཟེར་སྔོན་པོ་དང་། སེར་པོ་དང་། དམར་པོ་དང་། དཀར་པོ་རྣམས་བྱུང་ནས་ཁ་ཅིག་ནི་འོག་ཏུ་འགྲོའོ། །ཁ་ཅིག་ནི་སྟེང་དུ་འགྲོའོ། །འོག་ཏུ་འགྲོ་བ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་དག་ནི་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་ཡང་སོས་དང་། ཐིག་ནག་དང་། འདུས་འཇོམས་དང་། ངུ་འབོད་དང་། ངུ་འབོད་ཆེན་པོ་དང་། ཚ་བ་དང་། རབ་ཏུ་ཚ་བ་དང་། མནར་མེད་པ་དང་། ཆུ་བུར་ཅན་དང་། ཆུ་བུར་རྡོལ་དང་། སོ་ཐམས་ཐམས་དང་། ཀྱི་ཧུད་ཟེར་དང་། ཨ་ཆུ་ཟེར་དང་། ཨུད་པལ་ལྟར་གས་པ་དང་། པད་མ་ལྟར་གས་པ་དང་། པད་མ་ལྟར་གས་པ་ཆེན་པོར་སོང་ནས་ཚ་བའི་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་དག་ཏུ་ནི་བསིལ་བར་གྱུར་ཏེ་འབབ་བོ། །གྲང་བའི་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་དག་ཏུ་ནི་དྲོ་བར་ གྱུར་ཏེ་འབབ་བོ། །དེས་ན་སེམས་ཅན་དེ་དག་གི་གནོད་པའི་ཁྱད་པར་རྣམས་རྩེ་ཞིལ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་དེ་དག་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ། ཀྱེ་ཅི་བདག་ཅག་འདི་ནས་ཤི་འཕོས་སམ་འོན་ཏེ་གཞན་དུ་སྐྱེས་སམ་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་དེ་དག་དད་པ་བསྐྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་སྤྲུལ་པ་འགྱེད་པར་མཛད་དེ། དེ་དག་གིས་སྤྲུལ་པ་མཐོང་ནས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ། ཀྱེ་བདག་ཅག་ནི་འདི་ནས་ཀྱང་ཤི་འཕོས་པར་མ་གྱུར་ལ་གཞན་དུ་ཡང་མ་སྐྱེས་མོད་ཀྱི། འོན་ཀྱང་སྔོན་མ་བྱུང་བའི་སེམས་ཅན་སྣང་བ་འདིའི་མཐུས། བདག་ཅག་གི་གནོད་པའི་ཁྱད་པར་རྣམས་རྩེ་ཞིལ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་དེ་དག་སྤྲུལ་པ་དེ་ལ་སེམས་མངོན་པར་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་ནས་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་མྱོང་བར་འགྱུར་བའི་

Also saw various treasures of jewels. Then he thought, "Alas, there is such a great difference in making effort! I must go back and make effort." Thinking this, he announced to all those present that he would be the leader of the caravan, and then crossed the great ocean six times. Because the shipping was successful, he accumulated a great amount of jewels. He offered food to the Blessed One and the Sangha of Hearers in his house, and made aspirations for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Then, the Blessed One, knowing the continuous causes and effects and the continuous karmas of that lazy child, smiled. This is the nature of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, when they smile. At that time, blue, yellow, red, and white rays of light came forth from their mouths. Some went downwards, and some went upwards. Those that went downwards went to the hells of sentient beings, such as the Reviving Hell, the Black Line Hell, the Crushing Hell, the Crying Hell, the Great Crying Hell, the Hot Hell, the Very Hot Hell, the Uninterrupted Hell, the Blistering Hell, the Bursting Blister Hell, the Achoo Hell, the Haha Hell, the Huhu Hell, the Utpala-like Cracking Hell, the Lotus-like Cracking Hell, and the Great Lotus-like Cracking Hell. All those hot hells became cool and refreshing. The cold hells became warm. Therefore, the various sufferings of those sentient beings were pacified. Then they thought, "Alas, have we died and transmigrated from here, or have we been born elsewhere?" Then, in order to generate faith in them, the Blessed One emanated a manifestation. Seeing the manifestation, they thought, "Alas, we have not died and transmigrated from here, nor have we been born elsewhere, but by the power of this unprecedented sentient being's appearance, our various sufferings have been pacified." Then, they developed great joy towards that manifestation, those who were experiencing the suffering of hell

When that karma is exhausted, they will take rebirth wherever among gods and humans they become suitable vessels for the truths. Those who go upwards are the ranks of the Four Great Kings, the Thirty-three, the Strife-free, the Joyful, the Delighting in Emanation, the Controlling Others' Emanations, the Brahma ranks, those in front of Brahma, Great Brahma, Small Light, Immeasurable Light, Clear Light, Small Virtue, Immeasurable Virtue, Increasing Virtue, Cloudless, Merit-born, Great Fruit, Not Great, Not Lineage, Magnificent Appearance, Extremely Seeing, and having gone as far as the gods of Akanishta, they proclaim the sound of impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness. They also utter two verses: Strive for definite emergence, join the Buddha's teaching, like an elephant in a reed house, destroy the host of death. Whoever in this very Dharma and Discipline conducts themselves with mindfulness, having completely abandoned the cycle of birth, will make an end to suffering. Thus they utter. Then those rays circle the trichiliocosm great thousand world realm, and follow behind the Blessed One himself. If the Blessed One wishes to prophesy past actions, they will not appear on the hem of the Blessed One's robe. If he wishes to prophesy future actions, they will not appear in front. If he wishes to prophesy sentient beings being born in hell, they will not appear on the soles of his feet. If he wishes to prophesy them being born as animals, they will not appear on the heels of his feet. If he wishes to prophesy them being born as hungry ghosts, they will not appear on the big toes of his feet. If he wishes to prophesy them being born as humans, they will not appear on his two knees. If he wishes to prophesy them as a wheel-turning monarch of strength, they will not appear on the palm of his left hand. If he wishes to prophesy them as a wheel-turning monarch, they will not appear on the palm of his right hand.
