At that time, in Shravasti, there lived a wealthy merchant who was rich in possessions and had great enjoyment, who fully possessed vast and extensive wealth, who possessed the wealth of Vaishravana, and who rivaled the wealth of Vaishravana. He took a wife from the same clan, and together with her, he played, rejoiced, and indulged in pleasure. As he played, rejoiced, and indulged in pleasure, his wife became pregnant. After eight or nine months, she gave birth to a son, a boy who was handsome, pleasing to look at, and beautiful, with a good complexion, golden in color, possessing all limbs and features, and who by nature remembered his past lives. Then, he took his own hands, kissed them, placed them on his lap, embraced them, and said in words: "Alas, my two hands, I have finally found them after a very long time! Alas, my two hands, I have finally found them after a very long time!" he said. Then, they held a birth celebration for him and discussed what name to give the boy. These eight nurses raised him with milk, yogurt, butter, ghee, the essence of ghee, and other excellent provisions, and he grew rapidly like a lotus in a lake. 据说，很久很久以前才得到（这双手）。之后， 有一天，名叫“有手”的男孩去了国王“胜者”的花园。他看见了世尊佛陀，其身以大丈夫相的三十二妙相庄严，八十随形好美好，一寻光芒围绕，拥有胜过千日的光芒，如同一座珍宝山般完美。他一见到佛陀，心中便生起欢喜，生起欢喜后，便向佛陀的足下顶礼，为了听闻佛法，坐在佛陀的面前。之后，世尊了解了他的想法、习气、根性和自性，为他宣说了能够证悟四圣谛的佛法。听闻佛法后，“有手”以智慧金刚摧毁了二十座高耸的“有身见”之山顶，现证了入流果。他见到真谛后，禀告父母，在世尊的教法下出家。他通过精进、修行和努力，认识到这五眼肉身的轮回之轮是动摇不定的，彻底认识到一切有为法的本性都是坏灭、堕落、消散和毁灭的。他断除了一切烦恼，现证了阿罗汉果。这位阿罗汉已经脱离了三界的贪欲，对黄金和粪土一视同仁，拥有如同虚空和手掌般平等的心，像檀香浸泡过一样清凉。他以智慧摧毁了无明的蛋壳，获得了智慧、神通和各别自证智，不贪恋世间的利养、执着和恭敬。包括自在天和近自在天在内的诸天都供养他，他成为了值得忆念和尊敬的对象。即使他已经证得阿罗汉果，仍然像那样为比丘们说法：‘诸位施主，不要心怀嗔恨！不要说粗恶语！’他说：‘唉，我的双手是经历了非常非常长的时间才得到的啊！’之后，比丘们生起了疑惑，要断除一切疑惑。

It is said that it was obtained after a very, very long time. Then, One day, a boy named "Possessed of Hands" went to the garden of the king "Victorious." There he saw the Blessed One, the Buddha, whose body was adorned with the thirty-two major marks of a great being, beautified by the eighty minor marks, surrounded by a fathom of light, possessing light surpassing a thousand suns, and perfect in every way like a moving mountain of jewels. As soon as he saw the Buddha, joy arose in his heart. Having generated joy, he prostrated at the feet of the Blessed One, and sat before the Blessed One in order to listen to the Dharma. Then, the Blessed One understood his thoughts, habits, inclinations, and nature, and taught him the Dharma in such a way that he would realize the Four Noble Truths. Having heard this, "Possessed of Hands" destroyed the twenty high peaks of the mountain of the "view of the aggregates" with the vajra of wisdom, and directly realized the fruit of stream-entry. Having seen the truth, he informed his parents and went forth into the teachings of the Blessed One. Through diligence, practice, and effort, he realized that this wheel of samsara of the five eyes of flesh is wavering and unstable, and thoroughly understood that the nature of all conditioned phenomena is to decay, fall, scatter, and be destroyed. Having abandoned all defilements, he directly realized the state of an Arhat. This Arhat, having become free from desire for the three realms, was equal to gold and dung, possessed a mind as equal as the sky and the palm of his hand, and became as cool as if soaked in sandalwood. He destroyed the shell of ignorance with wisdom, and obtained wisdom, clairvoyance, and individual self-awareness. He did not look to worldly gain, attachment, and reverence. The gods, including the powerful ones and those near to power, worshipped him, and he became an object of remembrance and respectful speech. Even though he had attained the state of an Arhat, he still taught the Dharma to the monks in this way: 'O benefactors, do not harbor hatred in your hearts! Do not speak harsh words!' He said, 'Alas, my two hands were obtained after a very, very long time!' Then, the monks became doubtful, wanting to cut off all doubts.
