And sons were born. All of them were endowed with great strength. Their names were given according to their respective causes and conditions. Then, after a while, King Tokden died, and his son Kapina was installed as king in his place. All those eighty thousand sons of ministers were appointed as ministers of the king. Then one day, the great King Kapina, attended by eighty thousand ministers, went to hunt wild animals. He saw the great armies in front and behind him and asked the ministers, "Hey, who else has such a great army like mine?" Then the ministers who were eloquent replied, "Even the gods do not have such an army." Then some merchants from the central region went to the south, and they offered gifts to the great King Kapina. Then the king said, "Hey, merchants, who is the king of that country?" The merchants replied, "In some places, many people gather together and rule. In some places, the king rules." Then, after a while, the great King Kapina sent messengers to six great cities, including Nyandu Yöpa, saying, "If you have to stand, do not sit down, come quickly! If you do not do so, you will be severely punished." Having heard this, the kings residing in the six great cities were frightened, scared, and unhappy. They felt goosebumps, gathered together, consulted, reached an agreement, and arrived at Nyandu Yöpa. Then they went to the Blessed One and reported the matter in detail to the Blessed One. Then the Blessed One reassured them and said, "Bring that messenger to me!" Then they told the messenger, "We have a king of kings, go and see him first!" The Blessed One, knowing that the messenger was coming, transformed the garden of Gyalbu Gyaljé into a city of gods, beautiful to behold, and decorated with four kinds of jewels. The Four Great Kings were arranged like gatekeepers. There were elephants like the sons of the earth-protector, horses like those with the power of clouds, and chariots of delight.

And also Rakshasas and the like, and also non-humans and fierce Yakshas and the like were arranged. The Blessed One himself manifested in the guise of a Chakravartin king. He also manifested a lion throne as high as seven Tala trees, and the Blessed One sat upon it. Then, the messenger, seeing such a beautiful sight, was greatly amazed. Then, the Blessed One wrote a letter and said to the messenger: 'Tell King Kapina, I, if you see this letter, even if you are standing, come quickly without sitting down! If you do not come, I will come with a great army!' Then, the messenger went and did all the things, including delivering the letter and the oral message, to the great King Kapina. Then, the great King Kapina, accompanied by eighty thousand ministers, gradually went and arrived at Manyan. All the kings under the sun welcomed the great King Kapina, and they invited him into the city with great respect, let him rest, and then reported to the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One, knowing that he was coming, manifested everything as before. Then, the great King Kapina went to the garden of Prince Jeta, and as soon as he saw it, his pride in his appearance, and his pride in his power, disappeared. But the arrogance of strength still remained. Then, the Blessed One generated a worldly thought, thinking that it would be good if Indra, the lord of the gods, came with Indra's bow, and as soon as the Blessed One generated this thought, Indra, the lord of the gods, offered Indra's bow in the guise of a charioteer. Then, the Blessed One gave it to the great King Kapina, but the great King Kapina could not even lift it, let alone draw it. Then, the Blessed One manifested seven iron drums, and himself drew that bow like a crescent moon, and shot an arrow, which pierced all seven iron drums, and a sound came from it: 'Begin to renounce! Devote yourselves to the Buddha's teachings! Enter the reed house like an elephant!' Death

Destroy the sinful side! Whoever, with regard to this Dharma and Vinaya, acts with diligence, having completely abandoned the cycle of rebirth, will be able to end suffering. After such a sound arose, that sound also spread to the realms of the gods down to Akanistha. Then, King Kapina's pride in his power also disappeared, and the thought arose in his mind: Alas, what is that? Then, the Blessed One, understanding the thoughts of King Kapina, concealed the appearance of a Chakravartin king and spoke this sutra. Monks, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, possesses the ten powers, is fearless with the four fearlessnesses, has made a great vow in the supreme position, turns the wheel of Brahma, and roars the true lion's roar in the assembly. That is to say, this being, that arises; this arising, that arises. For example, with ignorance as the condition, there are actions; with actions as the condition, there is consciousness; with consciousness as the condition, there are name and form; with name and form as the condition, there are the six sense bases; with the six sense bases as the condition, there is contact; with contact as the condition, there is feeling; with feeling as the condition, there is craving; with craving as the condition, there is grasping; with grasping as the condition, there is becoming; with becoming as the condition, there is birth; with birth as the condition, there arise old age, death, sorrow, lamentation, pain, distress, and disturbance. Thus, this great mass of suffering will arise. That is to say, this not being, that does not arise; this ceasing, that ceases. For example, with the cessation of ignorance, actions cease; with the cessation of actions, consciousness ceases; with the cessation of consciousness, name and form cease; with the cessation of name and form, the six sense bases cease; with the cessation of the six sense bases, contact ceases; with the cessation of contact, feeling ceases; with the cessation of feeling, craving ceases; with the cessation of craving, grasping ceases; with the cessation of grasping, becoming ceases; with the cessation of becoming, birth ceases; with the cessation of birth, old age, death, sorrow, lamentation, pain, distress, and
