There are no elephant and horse drawings. It does not suit the king's clothes. If placed on the king's throne, it would stand up as if in a panic. The vassals and ministers do not show respect or prostrate. The consorts and palace maids are not happy and do not prostrate. If taken to the deity's statue, the deities do not prostrate. It is not capable of raining down jewels. Nor is he the son of the great queen. Among the five hundred princes, none had the same characteristics. The youngest of the princes, his body is golden in color, his hair is like dark blue, and both hands have the mark of a wheel. On the soles of both feet, there are drawings of elephants and horses. It suits the clothes and the body. If placed on the king's throne, it will be glorious and blessed. All the vassals respectfully prostrate, and the consorts and palace maids also happily prostrate. If it comes to the deity's statue, the deities will prostrate. As soon as he says, "Rain down jewels!", it rains down like rain. The queen is also born from the inner great queen, possessing complete characteristics. The vassals and ministers enthrone him as king. On the fifteenth day, when the sun first rises, a golden wheel with a thousand spokes, the size of one yojana, comes from the east. Kneeling to it, he says, "If I possess merit and can become king, may this wheel come near to me." As soon as he says this, it comes near from the direction of the sky. The precious elephant comes from a place with the scent of sandalwood, its tail adorned with jewels. The king rides it and flies in the sky, circling the four continents in half a day. If he walks on foot, wherever his footprints fall, they turn into golden sand. The precious horse is blue in color, its mane is red, and it rains down the seven precious substances. If the king rides it, he can circle the four continents in the time it takes to eat a meal, without getting tired. The precious jewel shines brightly day and night, illuminating up to one hundred and twenty yojanas, raining down the seven precious substances like rain, and giving them to all. The precious woman is good, beautiful, and pleases the king.

Accomplished. The householder jewel provides whatever the king needs of the seven royal jewels, inexhaustibly. The minister jewel, when the king divides the four armies, merely by looking, the assembly of the army gathers, possessing strength and resilience. Thus, possessing the seven jewels, he thought to himself: Obtaining such a method is also born from previous merit, and the lineage of the king should not be cut off. After thinking this, he bathed with scented water, put on clean new clothes, held a treasure vase in his hand, knelt on the ground facing east, and said: Holy beings residing in the east, please descend as I request. After saying this, twenty thousand Pratyekabuddhas came from the east and descended to the king's palace. He also prayed in the same way to the south, west, and north, and they also came from their respective directions, twenty thousand Pratyekabuddhas, and descended to the king's palace. Then, the king and ministers prepared four kinds of offerings and made offerings. Then, eighty-four thousand petty kings requested to return to their respective countries, and when they bowed and took their leave, the petty kings gave a portion to the noble ones, and requested: We also want to make offerings and accumulate merit. The king and ministers, for eighty-four thousand years, offered to forty thousand Pratyekabuddhas as they wished, and when their lifespan ended, they were born in the heavenly realms. Monks, the Mirror-faced King at that time is now me. The father of that king was my father, Śuddhodana. That queen was my mother, Deity Beauty. Those five hundred princes were the five hundred Śākya clansmen. At that time, he was also the chief of all, the most excellent, and now, having become a Buddha, he is also the chief of the most excellent with a name. The many attendants, hearing what the Buddha said, rejoiced and were delighted. The thirty-first chapter, the Mirror-faced King (ends). The thirty-second chapter, the two chapters of seeking good and seeking evil. The ninth volume, Thus I have heard, once, the Blessed One was in Śrāvastī, in the Jeta Grove of Anāthapiṇḍada.
