ཁྱོད་ལ་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སློང་དུ་འོངས་སོ། །ཀླུས་སྨྲས་པ། རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཤིན་ཏུ་རྙེད་པར་དཀའ་སྟེ། ཁྱོད་ འདོད་པ་ཡང་དག་ན་ཁོ་བོས་གསོལ་པ་བཞིན་དུ་ཟླ་བ་གཉིས་འདུག་སྟེ། བདག་ཅག་ལ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་སྤྱོད་པ་བསྟན་ནས། བདག་ཅག་གི་མཆོད་པ་བཞེས་ན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཡང་སྦྱིན་ནོ་ཞེས་བྱས་པ་དང་། སྦྱིན་པ་ཆེན་པོས་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་བྱའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་ཟླ་བ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་ཁ་ཟས་རོ་བརྒྱ་དང་ལྡན་པ་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་སྦྱར་ཏེ། ཕུལ་ནས་རོལ་མོ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་མཆོད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ཀྱང་དེ་དག་ལ་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་གྱི་རྐང་པ་བཞིའི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་ཟླ་བ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་བསྟན་ཏེ། ཕྱིར་འགྲོ་བར་བསམས་ནས་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བཀྲོལ་ཏེ་ཕུལ་ནས། སྐྱེས་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡི་དམ་ལ་བརྟན་པ་ཁྱོད་གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་འཚང་རྒྱའོ། །ནམ་མངོན་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་པ་ན། བདག་ཀྱང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཉེ་གནས་བགྱིའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་གྱུར་ཅིག་སྨྲས་སོ། །ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འདི་ལ་མཐུ་སྟོབས་ཅི་ཙམ་ཡོད་ཅེས་དྲིས་པ་ན། ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འདི་ནི་དཔག་ཚད་བཞི་སྟོང་ཁོ་ར་ཁོར་ཡུག་ཏུ་ཅི་འདོད་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཆར་བཞིན་དུ་འབེབས་སོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཡང་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འདིའི་མཐུ་སྟོབས་ཆེ་མོད་ཀྱི། བདག་གི་བསམ་པ་གྲུབ་ནུས་པ་མ་ཡིན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས། ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོའི་མཁར་གྱི་སྒོའི་ཕྱི་རོལ་ཏུ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་བསྐྱལ་ལོ། །དེ་ནས་ཡང་སོང་སོང་བ་ལས། རྒྱང་མ་ནས་གསེར་གྱི་མཁར་རབ་ཏུ་འཚེར་བ་ཞིག་མཐོང་ནས། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་དེའི་དྲུང་དུ་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། མཁར་དེ་ཡང་འོབས་རིམ་པ་བདུན་གྱིས་བསྐོར་ཏེ། འོབས་ཀྱི་ནང་ན་སྦྲུལ་གདུག་པས་ཡོངས་སུ་གང་བ་མཐོང་ངོ་། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཡང་བྱམས་པའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པས། སྦྲུལ་གྱི་གདུག་པ་ཞི་ནས་དེ་ལ་བརྫིས་ཏེ་སོང་ངོ་། །མཁར་དེ་ལ་ཡང་ཀླུ་གཉིས་ཤིག་འཁྱིལ་ཏེ་མགོ་སྒོའི་ཕྱི་རོལ་ཏུ་བསྟན་ཏེ་ཉལ་བ་དང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་མཐོང་ནས་མགོ་བཏེག་སྟེ་གདུག་པ་ཕྱུང་བ་ལས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཞིང་བྱམས་པའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པས་གདུག་པ་ཞི་ནས་དེའི་མགོ་བརྫིས་ཏེ་མཁར་གྱི་ནང་དུ་སོང་སྟེ། མཁར་དེའི་ནང་ན་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་ གཞལ་མེད་ཁང་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་རྒྱང་མ་ནས་མཐོང་ནས། འདི་སྙམ་དུ་བདག་གི་གནས་འདི་ནི་འོབས་རིམ་པ་བདུན་གྱི

我前来向您乞讨如意宝珠。龙说：宝珠非常难得，如果您真的想要，就按照我的请求住两个月。请为我们讲授菩萨的行持，如果我们接受了供养，也会施舍宝珠。大施主说：就这么办。之后，龙王在两个月的时间里，准备了各种各样具有百种美味的食物，供奉并用各种音乐进行供养。菩萨也在这两个月里为他们讲授了四神足的法门。当他想要离开时，龙王解下如意宝珠献上，并说：大士，您对本尊坚定不移，一定不会被邪魔所害，定能成佛。当您证悟成佛时，我也将成为您的近侍。菩萨说：就如你所说。菩萨问：这颗宝珠有多大的威力？龙王答道：这颗宝珠能在方圆四千由旬的范围内，像下雨一样降下一切所需之物。菩萨心想：这颗宝珠威力虽大，却不能实现我的愿望。于是，菩萨被送到了龙王宫殿的门外。之后，菩萨又继续前行，远远地看到一座闪耀的金城。菩萨走到金城前，发现金城被七重壕沟环绕，壕沟里充满了剧毒的毒蛇。菩萨生起慈悲心，毒蛇的毒性平息，菩萨踩着毒蛇走了过去。金城前，两条龙盘踞着，头朝外睡着。它们看到菩萨后，抬起头，想要喷出毒液，菩萨生起慈悲心，毒液平息，菩萨踩着它们的头进入了金城。在金城里，龙王从宝藏殿中远远地看到了菩萨，心想：我的住所被七重壕沟

I have come to beg you for the wish-fulfilling jewel. The dragon said: The jewel is very difficult to obtain. If you truly desire it, then stay for two months as I request. Teach us the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and if you accept our offerings, we will also give you the jewel. The Great Giver said: So be it. Then, for two months, the Dragon King prepared various kinds of food with a hundred flavors, offered them, and made offerings with various kinds of music. The Bodhisattva also taught them the Dharma of the Four Miraculous Feet for two months. When he intended to leave, the Dragon King unfastened the wish-fulfilling jewel and offered it, saying: Great being, you are steadfast in your devotion to the deity, you will surely not be harmed by demons, and you will certainly attain Buddhahood. When you attain perfect enlightenment, I will also become your attendant. The Bodhisattva said: May it be as you say. The Bodhisattva asked: How much power does this jewel have? The Dragon King replied: This jewel can rain down all desired things like rain within a radius of four thousand yojanas. The Bodhisattva thought: Although this jewel has great power, it cannot fulfill my wishes. So, the Bodhisattva was sent outside the gate of the Dragon King's palace. Then, the Bodhisattva continued on, and from afar he saw a golden city shining brightly. The Bodhisattva went to the golden city and found that it was surrounded by seven moats. He saw that the moats were filled with venomous snakes. The Bodhisattva generated a mind of loving-kindness, and the venom of the snakes subsided, and the Bodhisattva stepped on the snakes and went on. In front of the golden city, two dragons were coiled up, sleeping with their heads facing outwards. When they saw the Bodhisattva, they raised their heads and tried to spew venom, but the Bodhisattva generated a mind of compassion and loving-kindness, and the venom subsided, and the Bodhisattva stepped on their heads and entered the golden city. Inside the golden city, the Dragon King saw the Bodhisattva from afar in the treasure palace, and thought: My abode is surrounded by seven moats.

ས་བསྐོར་ཏེ་འོབས་ཀྱི་ནང་ན་སྦྲུལ་གདུག་པས་གང་བས་ཀླུ་དང་གནོད་སྦྱིན་མ་གཏོགས་པར་གཞན་གང་ཡང་འོང་བའི་ཐུགས་མི་ཐུབ་ན། མི་འདི་སུ་ཡིན་གང་ནས་འོངས་སྙམ་ནས་ངོ་མཚར་དུ་བཟུང་སྟེ། རྒྱང་མ་ནས་བསུས་ཏེ་བསྟི་སྟང་དང་བཅས་པས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ། རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་གདན་ལ་འདུག་ཏུ་བཅུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་ཁ་ཟས་རོ་བརྒྱ་དང་ལྡན་པ་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་སྦྱར་ཏེ། ཕུལ་ནས་ཁ་ཟས་ཟོས་པའི་འོག་ཏུ་ཁྱོད་སུ་ཞིག་གང་ནས་འོངས་ཞེས་དྲིས་སོ། །དེ་ལ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་བདག་ནི་འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་ནས་མཆིས་ཏེ། འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་གི་སེམས་ཅན་བསོད་ནམས་ཆུང་བས་ནོར་དང་ཟས་སྐོམ་གྱི་ཕྱིར་གཅིག་ལ་གཅིག་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་པས་འཚེ་ཞིང་གསོད་དོ། །མི་དགེ་བ་བཅུའི་ལས་རྫོགས་པར་བྱས་པས་ཚེ་འཕོས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ངན་སོང་གསུམ་དུ་ལྷུང་སྟེ། སྡུག་བསྔལ་མང་པོ་མྱོང་བར་འགྱུར་བས། བདག་དེ་དག་ལ་སྙིང་བརྩེ་སྟེ་མགོན་བྱ་བའི་ཕྱིར་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་ཁྱོད་ལ་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སློང་དུ་འོངས་སོ། །ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ནི་རྙེད་སླ་བ་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ། སྐྱེས་བུ་ཁྱོད་བདག་ལ་རེ་སྟེ་འོངས་ན་བདག་གི་གནས་འདིར་ཟླ་བ་བཞི་འདུག་སྟེ། བདག་གི་མཆོད་པ་བཞེས་ན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཡང་འབུལ་ལོ། །ཞེས་བྱས་པ་དང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ཡང་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་བགྱིའོ། །ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས། ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་ཟླ་བ་བཞིའི་བར་དུ་ཁ་ཟས་རོ་བརྒྱ་དང་ལྡན་པ་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་སྦྱར་ཏེ་ཕུལ་ནས། རོལ་མོས་ཀྱང་མཆོད་དོ། །དེ་ལ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་རྒྱ་ཆེར་ཕྱེ་ཞིང་བསྟན་པས་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་ནས། ཀླུ་གཞན་དང་གནོད་སྦྱིན་གཞན་ལ་མི་ལྟོས་པར་ཡོ་བྱད་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་ཡིད་བཞིན་དུ་སྦྱར་རོ། །དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཚུལ་དུ་ཟླ་བ་བཞི་བྱས་ནས། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་འགྲོ་བར་ཆས་པ་དང་། ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་གཙུག་གི་ཕུད་བུ་ནས་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བཀྲོལ་ཏེ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ལ་ཕུལ་ནས། སྐྱེས་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡི་དམ་ལ་བརྟན་པ་ཁྱོད་གདོན་མི་ཟ་ བར་འཚང་རྒྱའོ། །ནམ་མངོན་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་པ་ན་བདག་ཀྱང་ཉེ་གནས་མཆོག་ཏུ་གྱུར་ཏེ། བསྙེན་བཀུར་བྱེད་པར་ཤོག་ཤིག་ཅེས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་བོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ཀྱང་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་གྱུར་ཅིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འདི་ལ་མཐུ་སྟོབས་ཅི་ཙམ་ཞིག་ཡོད་ཅེས་དྲིས་སོ། །ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འདི་དཔག་ཚད་བརྒྱད་སྟོང་ཁོ་ར་ཁོར་ཡུག་ཏུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཆར་བཞིན་དུ་འབེབས་ཏེ། ཅི་འདོད་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་འབེབས་སོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་གདོད་དགའ་ནས། འདི་སྙམ་དུ་འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་གི་ཁྱོན་ནི་དཔག་ཚད་བདུན་སྟོང་ལས་མེད་དེ། ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འདིས་ནི་བདག་གི་རེ་བ་སྐོང་ངོ་སྙམ་བསམས་ནས། སྔ་ཕྱིར་རྙེད་པའི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་གསུམ་ཆར་གོས་ཀྱི་མཐར་ཕྱུང་སྟེ་མཁར་གྱི་སྒོར་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པས་བསྐྱལ་ནས་སོ་སོར་དོང་ངོ་། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཕ་ཟད་ཞིག་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་ནས། ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྣམས་ལག་པར་ཐོགས་ཏེ། འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་བོ། །ནོར་བུ་འདི་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཡིན་ཡང་དག་ན། བདག་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་འཕུར་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་འཕུར་ཏེ། རྒྱ་མཚོའི་བགེགས་ལས་ཐར་ནས། རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ངོགས་སུ་ཕྱིན་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ། དེ་ན་ཅུང་ཟད་བསྟི་ཞིང་ངལ་བསོས་པའི་ལམ་དུ་གཉིད་ལོག་པ་དང་དེའི་ཚེ་ན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཀླུ་ཕྲན་རྣམས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བགྲོས་སོ། །རྒྱ་མཚོ་འདི་ན་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་འདི་གསུམ་ལས་མེད་དེ་གསུམ་ཆར་མི་འདིས་ཁྱེར་ཏེ་ནོར་བུ་འདི་ནི་ཡོན་ཏན་དང་ལྡན་ན། བདག་ཅག་ལ་ཡང་དགོས་ཀྱི་ཕྱིར་བརྐུའོ་ཞེས་བགྲོས་ནས། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་གཉིད་ཀྱིས་ལོག་པའི་ཚེ་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཀླུ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཕྱིར་བརྐུས་སོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་སད་ནས་བལྟས་ན་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མེད་པས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་བསམས་སོ། །འདི་ནི་གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཀླུས་བརྐུས་ཀྱིས་བདག་གིས་མཐུ་ཅི་ཡོད་པས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཆུ་བཅུས་ཏེ་བསྐམ་པར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་སྟེ། ནོར་བུ་ཕྱིར་མ་ཐོབ་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་ལག་པ་སྟོང་པར་ཕྱིར་མི་འགྲོ་སྙམ་ཡི་དམ་བཅས་སོ། །རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ངོགས་ སུ་སོང་སྟེ་རུས་སྦལ་གྱི་ཁོག་པ་ཞིག་བླངས་ནས་ལག་པ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཆུ་བཅུས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ལྷས་དེའི་བསམ་པ་ཤེས་ནས། །དེ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །རྒྱ་མཚོ་འདི་ནི་གཏིང་ཟབ་ཅིང་ཡངས་ཏེ། དཔག་ཚད་སྟོང་ཕྲག་སུམ་བརྒྱ་སུམ་ཅུ་ཡོད་པས་གལ་ཏེ་འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་གི་མི་ཐམས་ཅད་ལོག་ཀྱང་རྒྱ་མཚོ་བསྐམ་པར་བྱ་མི་ནུས་ན། ཁྱོད་གཅིག་པུས་ནུས་པ་ལྟ་ཅི་སྨོས་ཏེ། དོན་མེད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་སྨྲས་པ། མི་གཅིག་གིས་སྙིང་ནས་ལས་བྱས་ན་ཅི་ཡང་མི་འགྲུབ་པ་མེད་དོ། །བདག་གི་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་དེ་རྙེད་པས་འགྲོ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཕན་པ་དང་བདེ་བར་བྱ

地面环绕，在那充满恶毒蛇类的深渊之中，除了龙和夜叉之外，其他任何人都无法进入，（他们）心想“这个人是谁？从哪里来的？”，感到非常惊奇。从远处迎接，以恭敬的态度顶礼膜拜，让（他）坐在珍贵的宝座上。然后，准备了各种各样具有百种美味的食物，献上。在吃完食物之后，问道：“您是谁？从哪里来的？”。对此，菩萨回答说：“我来自赡部洲，赡部洲的众生福报浅薄，为了财物和饮食，以各种方式互相残害和杀戮。造作圆满了十种不善业，死后立即堕入三恶道，将要感受诸多痛苦。我怜悯他们，为了成为他们的救护者，特来向大王您乞求如意宝珠。”龙王说道：“如意宝珠并非容易获得之物，如果这位士夫您依赖我而来，就在我的住所住四个月，如果接受我的供养，我也将献上宝珠。”说完，菩萨也同样回答说：“就这样做。”于是，龙王在四个月的时间里，准备了各种各样具有百种美味的食物献上，也用音乐来供养。对此，菩萨广泛地开示和讲述了佛法的各种法门，龙王非常高兴，不依赖其他龙和夜叉，也如意地准备了一切用具。就这样过了四个月，菩萨准备离开时，龙王从头顶的髻中解下如意宝珠，献给菩萨，说道：“大士您对本尊坚定不移，必定不会被邪魔所害，定能成佛。何时您现证菩提之时，我也成为您的殊胜近侍，前来侍奉。”如此发愿。菩萨也说道：“愿如是成就。”（菩萨）问道：“这颗宝珠具有多大的威力？”龙王说道：“这颗宝珠有八千由旬的范围……

Surrounding the ground, in that abyss filled with venomous snakes, no one can enter except for dragons and yakshas. They wondered, "Who is this person? Where did he come from?" and were very surprised. They greeted him from afar, prostrated with reverence, and had him sit on a precious throne. Then, they prepared various kinds of food with a hundred flavors and offered them. After he had eaten, they asked, "Who are you? Where did you come from?" To this, the Bodhisattva replied, "I come from Jambudvipa. The beings of Jambudvipa have little merit, and for the sake of wealth and food, they harm and kill each other in various ways. Having completed the ten non-virtuous deeds, they immediately fall into the three lower realms after death and will experience much suffering. I pity them, and in order to be their protector, I have come to ask you, Great King, for the wish-fulfilling jewel." The Dragon King said, "The wish-fulfilling jewel is not easy to obtain. If you, sir, have come relying on me, stay in my abode for four months. If you accept my offerings, I will also offer the jewel." Having said this, the Bodhisattva replied, "I will do so." Then, for four months, the Dragon King prepared various kinds of food with a hundred flavors and offered them, and also made offerings with music. To this, the Bodhisattva extensively expounded and taught the various aspects of the Dharma, and the Dragon King was very pleased. Without relying on other dragons and yakshas, he also provided all the necessities as desired. After four months had passed in this way, as the Bodhisattva prepared to leave, the Dragon King untied the wish-fulfilling jewel from the topknot of his head and offered it to the Bodhisattva, saying, "Great being, you are steadfast in your commitment to your chosen deity, and you will surely not be harmed by evil spirits and will attain enlightenment. When you manifest enlightenment, may I also become your excellent attendant and come to serve you." Thus he made a prayer. The Bodhisattva also said, "May it be so." He asked, "How much power does this jewel have?" The Dragon King said, "This jewel has a range of eight thousand yojanas...

在城郊，珍宝如雨般降下，并说道：“满足一切愿望。”菩萨最初非常高兴，心想：赡部洲的面积只有七千逾缮那，这颗珍宝定能满足我的愿望。于是，他将先前和之后得到的三颗珍宝都缝在衣服的边缘，前往城门。龙王及其眷属送别，各自返回洞穴。菩萨走到一处荒凉之地，双手捧着珍宝，发愿道：“如果这颗珍宝真是如意宝，愿我能飞向天空。”话音刚落，他就飞向天空，脱离了海洋的障碍，到达了海边。他在那里稍作休息，在路上小憩时睡着了。这时，海里的小龙们商议道：“这片海里只有这三颗珍宝，现在全被这个人拿走了。如果这珍宝具有功德，我们也需要，所以我们偷走它吧。”于是，在菩萨熟睡时，龙族偷走了如意宝。菩萨醒来一看，珍宝不见了，心想：“这一定是海里的龙偷走了。我有什么能力呢？我要舀干海水。”他下定决心，在没有找回珍宝之前，绝不空手而归。他走到海边，拿起一个龟壳，双手舀海水。这时，海神知道了他的想法，对他说：“这片海洋深广无垠，有三十三万逾缮那。即使赡部洲的所有人都来，也无法舀干海水，更何况你一个人呢？这是徒劳的。”菩萨说道：“只要一个人真心去做，没有什么不能成功的。我找回珍宝，是为了利益和安乐一切众生。”

In the outskirts of the city, jewels rained down like rain, saying, "It fulfills all wishes." The Bodhisattva was initially very happy, thinking, "The area of Jambudvipa is only seven thousand yojanas, this jewel will surely fulfill my wishes." So, he sewed the three jewels he had obtained earlier and later to the edge of his clothes and went to the city gate. The Dragon King and his entourage bid farewell and returned to their respective caves. The Bodhisattva went to a desolate place, held the jewels in his hands, and made a vow, "If this jewel is truly a wish-fulfilling jewel, may I fly into the sky." As soon as he said that, he flew into the sky, escaped the obstacles of the ocean, and reached the seashore. He rested there for a while, and fell asleep on the road while taking a nap. At this time, the small dragons in the sea discussed, "There are only these three jewels in this sea, and now they have all been taken away by this person. If this jewel has merits, we also need it, so let's steal it." So, while the Bodhisattva was asleep, the dragons stole the wish-fulfilling jewel. The Bodhisattva woke up and saw that the jewel was gone, and thought, "This must have been stolen by the dragons in the sea. What power do I have? I will scoop out the sea water and dry it up." He made up his mind not to return empty-handed until he found the jewel. He went to the seashore, picked up a tortoise shell, and scooped up the sea water with both hands. At this time, the sea god knew his thoughts and said to him, "This ocean is deep and vast, with three hundred and thirty thousand yojanas. Even if all the people of Jambudvipa came, they would not be able to scoop out the sea water, let alone you alone? It is futile." The Bodhisattva said, "If a person does something sincerely, nothing is impossible. I will find the jewel to benefit and bring happiness to all beings."
