At that time, the great benefactor went to the door of that Brahmin and asked, "Is the Brahmin Kapili at home?" As soon as the daughter heard the voice of the great benefactor from inside the house, she thought, "The voice at the outer door must be that of my husband." So she told her parents. Then the Brahmin came to the door and met him, and thought to himself, "This young man must be superior to others." The young man begged for gold, and the Brahmin agreed to give it, holding the gold in one hand and leading the daughter in the other, and said, "Give this daughter to you as your wife." The great benefactor said, "I am going to the great ocean to collect jewels, but there are many obstacles in the ocean, so it is uncertain whether I will return or not. Therefore, I cannot accept your daughter as my wife." The Brahmin said, "If you return safely, then take this daughter as your wife." The great benefactor also said, "If I return, I will do as you say." Then the Brahmin prepared three thousand gold coins and all the other necessary items, and then they went to the seashore. Then they repaired the boat, boarded it, and then secured it with seven ropes. From inside the boat, they said this: "There are these obstacles in the ocean, such as black wind, rakshasas, swirling waves, vicious dragons, mountains like water, crocodiles, and many other terrible obstacles. If there is anyone who does not believe that they can reach their destination, let them return from here, and it will be too late to regret it later. If anyone does not care about their body and life, and is not attached to their parents, wife, brothers, and relatives, then let them go. If they return safely, they will use the seven precious jewels..."
