་སྩོལ་ཅིག །བདག་ནི་བཀྲེས་པས་རབ་ཏུ་ཉེན་ཏོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁོ་བོས་ནི་གང་བདག་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་འོངས་སོ་ཅོག་ལ་ཕྱིར་མི་གཏོང་བར་དམ་བཅས་པས། འདི་ཡང་མི་སྦྱིན་ནོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། ཡང་ ཁྲས་སྨྲས་པ། རྒྱལ་པོས་གསུངས་པ་ལྟར་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་སྐྱབས་མཛད་དོ་ཞེ་ན། གལ་ཏེ་བདག་གི་ཟས་མི་སྩལ་ན་བདག་ཀྱང་འཚོ་བ་དང་བྲལ་ན། ཅི་བདག་ཀྱང་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་ནང་དུ་མ་གཏོགས་སམ། རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱོད་ལ་ཤ་གཞན་ཞིག་སྦྱིན་ན་ཟའམ། ཁྲས་སྨྲས་པ། བདག་ནི་གསར་དུ་བཀུམ་པའི་ཤ་རློན་པ་མཆིས་ན་འཚལ་ལོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། རྒྱལ་པོ་དེས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་བསམས་སོ། །བདག་གིས་གསར་དུ་བསད་པའི་ཤ་རློན་པ་ཞིག་སྦྱར་ན་ནི། གཅིག་བསད་དེ་གཅིག་གསོ་བར་རིགས་པ་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ། དོན་མེད་དོ་སྙམ་དུ་བསམས་ནས་ཡང་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་སོ། །བདག་འབའ་ཞིག་གིས་ལུས་མ་གཏོགས་པར་གཞན་ཅི་ཙམ་སྲོག་དང་བཅས་པས་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་སྲོག་ཕངས་སོ་སྙམ་བསམས་ནས། གྲི་རྣོན་པོ་ཐོགས་ནས་བརླའི་ཤ་བཅད་ནས་ཁྲ་ལ་བྱིན་ཏེ། ཕུག་རོན་གྱི་སྲོག་བླུས་སོ། །ཁྲས་སྨྲས་པ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཁྱོད་སྦྱིན་བདག་དུ་གྱུར་ཏེ། ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་སྙོམས་ན། བདག་བྱ་ཆུང་ངུ་ཞིག་ལགས་ཀྱང་སྙོམས་པར་མཛད་འཚལ་བས། གལ་ཏེ་ཕུག་རོན་གྱི་སྲོག་བླུ་ན་སྲང་གིས་བཙལ་ཏེ། མཉམ་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། རྒྱལ་པོས་སྲང་ལོང་ཤིག་ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ཏེ། སྲང་གི་ཁུ་ལེར་ནི་ཕུག་རོན་བཞག།སྲང་གི་གཞིར་ནི་ཤ་བཅད་དེ་སྤུངས་ན། བརླའི་ཤ་ཟད་ཀྱང་ཕུག་རོན་བས་ཡང་ངོ་། །ཕྲག་པ་གཉིས་དང་། རྩིབ་ལོགས་གཡས་གཡོན་དང་། ལུས་ཀྱི་ཤ་ཟད་པར་བཅད་ཀྱང་། ཕུག་རོན་དང་མཉམ་པར་མ་གྱུར་ནས། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཉིད་བཞེངས་ཏེ། སྲང་གི་ནང་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་གཟས་པ་ལས་ཉམས་ཀྱིས་མ་ནུས་ཏེ། ས་ལ་འགྱེལ་ནས་བརྒྱལ་ལོ། །དེ་ནས་རིང་ཞིག་ལོན་པ་དང་། དྲན་པར་གྱུར་ནས། བདག་གི་སེམས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨད་དོ། །ཐོག་མ་མེད་པའི་དུས་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་མ་ནུས་ནས། ཁམས་གསུམ་དུ་འཁོར་ཞིང་སྡུག་བསྔལ་སྣ་ཚོགས་མྱོང་བར་གྱུར་ཀྱང་། བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱི་ཚོགས་སུ་མ་གྱུར་ཏོ། །བརྩོན་འགྲུས་བརྩམས་པའི་དུས་ལ་བབ་སྟེ། ལེ་ལོ་བྱ་བའི་དུས་མ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་སྒོ་ནས་བརྒྱད་བཀག་སྟེ། དེ་ནས་འབད་འབུངས་ནས་ སྲང་གི་གཞིའི་ནང་དུ་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། ད་ནི་ལེགས་སོ་ཞེས་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བའི་སེམས་སྐྱེས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་གནམ་ས་རྣམ་པ་དྲུག་ཏུ་གཡོས་ནས། ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཕོ་བྲང་ཡང་འགུལ་ཞིང་ལྟེག་པར་གྱུར

请赐予我食物！我因饥饿而极度危险。”说完，国王说：“我曾发誓，凡是来向我寻求庇护的人，我都不会拒绝。所以，我也不会给你食物。”老鹰又说：“如果国王像您所说的那样庇护一切众生，如果我得不到食物，我也会失去生命。难道我不属于一切众生之中吗？”国王说：“如果我给你其他的肉，你吃吗？”老鹰说：“如果我有新宰杀的生肉，我就吃。”国王心想：“如果我给他新宰杀的生肉，杀一个来救一个，这不合理，毫无意义。”他这样想着，又想：“除了我自己的身体，还有什么其他有生命的可以用来救助一切众生呢？一切众生都珍惜自己的生命。”于是，他拿起锋利的刀，割下大腿上的肉，给了老鹰，救了鸽子的命。老鹰说：“国王啊，您是施主，对一切众生都平等。我虽然只是一只小鸟，也请您平等对待。如果要赎鸽子的命，就用秤来称量，使之相等。”国王说：“拿秤来！”于是，在秤的一端放上鸽子，在另一端堆上割下来的肉。大腿上的肉割完了，还是比鸽子轻。两个肩膀，左右两边的肋骨，身上的肉都割完了，还是不能和鸽子相等。国王起身，想要走进秤里，但力气不够，倒在地上昏了过去。过了一会儿，他恢复了知觉，责备自己的内心说：“从无始以来，你一直无能为力，在三界中轮回，遭受各种痛苦，却没有积累功德。现在是努力的时候了，不是懈怠的时候！”他用各种方式克制自己，然后努力地走进了秤的另一端。这时，他心里非常高兴，心想：“现在好了！”就在那时，天地发生了六种震动，诸神的宫殿也摇晃起来。

Please give me food! I am in great danger from hunger." Having said this, the king said, "I have vowed that I will not turn away anyone who comes to me for refuge. Therefore, I will not give you food either." Then the hawk said, "If the king protects all beings as you say, if I do not receive food, I will also lose my life. Am I not included among all beings?" The king said, "If I give you other meat, will you eat it?" The hawk said, "If I have freshly killed raw meat, I will eat it." The king thought to himself, "If I give him freshly killed raw meat, it is not reasonable to kill one to save one; it is meaningless." Thinking this, he thought again, "Besides my own body, what else with life can be used to help all beings? All beings cherish their lives." So, he took a sharp knife, cut off the flesh of his thigh, and gave it to the hawk, thus redeeming the life of the pigeon. The hawk said, "King, you have become a benefactor, and you are equal to all. Although I am just a small bird, please treat me equally. If you want to redeem the life of the pigeon, weigh it on a scale and make it equal." The king said, "Bring a scale!" So, the pigeon was placed on one side of the scale, and the cut flesh was piled on the other side. Even when the flesh of the thigh was exhausted, it was still lighter than the pigeon. Both shoulders, the ribs on the left and right sides, and all the flesh of the body were cut off, but it still did not become equal to the pigeon. The king himself stood up and intended to step into the scale, but he did not have the strength and fell to the ground, fainting. After a long time, he regained consciousness and reproached his own mind, saying, "From beginningless time, you have been unable to do this, and you have wandered in the three realms, experiencing various sufferings, but you have not accumulated merit. Now is the time to exert effort, not the time to be lazy!" He restrained himself in various ways, and then, striving hard, he stepped into the other side of the scale. At that time, he felt very happy, thinking, "Now it is good!" At that moment, the earth and sky shook in six ways, and the palaces of the gods also trembled and swayed.
