་བ་པུས་མོ་ནུབ་ཙམ་ཞིག་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་ངལ་ཆད་དེ། སྐོམ་གྱིས་གདུངས་པས་སྲོག་ཆད་ལ་ཐུག་པས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །སྙིང་རྗེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་སུ་ཞིག་བདག་འདི་ལྟར་སྡུག་སྡུག་པའི་ལུས་དང་སྲོག་གི་སྐྱབས་སུ་འགྱུར་བ་ཡོད་དམ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། དེའི་ཚེ་ན་རི་དེ་ལ་གཅན་གཟན་ཀུན་ཏ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ལུས་ཀྱི་སྤུའི་མདོག་གསེར་གྱི་ཁ་དོག་ལྟ་བུ་ལ་སྤུའི་ཐོག་མ་ལ་གསེར་གྱི་འོད་འབྱུང་བ་ཞིག་ཡོད་པ་དེས་རྒྱང་མ་ནས་མི་དེས་སྨྲས་པའི་ཚིག་ཐོས་ནས། ཤིན་ཏུ་སྙིང་བརྩེ་བའི་སེམས་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། གང་ན་ཆུ་མིག་གྲང་མོ་ཡོད་པའི་ནང་དུ་ལུས་བཅུག་ནས་མི་དེའི་དྲུང་དུ་འོངས་ཏེ། མི་དེ་ལ་པང་པས་འཁྱུད་ནས་ཅུང་ཟད་ཉམས་བརྟས་པ་དང་། ཆུ་འགྲམ་དུ་ཁྲིད་དེ་བཀྲུས་ཏེ་ཤིང་ཏོག་བསྡུས་ཏེ་ཟར་བཅུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་མི་དེ་སོར་ཆུད་ནས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་སོ། །གཅན་གཟན་འདི་ནི་རྒྱལ་པོས་འདོད་པ་ཁོ་ན་ཡིན་ནོ། །བདག་སྲོག་དང་བྲལ་བ་ལས་སྲོག་གི་སྐྱབས་བྱས་ཏེ། དྲིན་གཟོ་བ་ཆུང་ཟད་ཀྱང་མ་བྱས་པར་འདི་ལ་གསོད་པའི་སེམས་ཅི་ལྟར་ཡང་བསྐྱེད། །གལ་ཏེ་མ་རྙེད་ན་ནི་རྔོན་པ་དེ་དག་གཉེན་དང་བཅས་སུ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་གྱོད་ལས་ཐོགས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ་སྙམ་བསམས་ནས། མི་དགའ་ཞིང་འདུག་པ་ལས་གཅན་གཟན་གྱིས་ཁྱོད་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་འདི་ལྟར་མི་དགའ་ཞེས་དྲིས་ན། མཆི་མ་བླགས་ནས་རྒྱས་པར་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། ཀུན་ཏས་འདི་ལ་ཁྱོད་མི་དགའ་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག།ངའི་པགས་པ་འདི་ཤིན་ ཏུ་ཐོབ་སླ་བ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ཁོ་བོས་བསམས་ན་ཚེ་སྔ་མ་ལ་ལུས་གྲངས་མེད་པ་ཞིག་བཏང་ཡང་། ལུས་ཀྱི་བསོད་ནམས་སུ་འགྱུར་བའི་ལས་མ་བྱས་ཏེ། ལུས་ཀྱི་པགས་པ་འདིས་དེ་དག་གི་སྲོག་སྐྱོབ་བོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས། རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བའི་སེམས་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཁོ་བོ་སྲོག་མ་བཅད་པར་པགས་པ་བཤུས་ཏེ་ཁྱེར་ཅིག།འགྱོད་པའི་སེམས་མེད་པར་ཁྱོད་ལ་སྦྱིན་ནོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་རྔོན་པ་དེས་པགས་པ་དལ་གྱིས་བཤུས་ནས་ཀུན་ཏས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་བོ། །བདག་གིས་པགས་པ་བཤུས་ལ་བྱིན་ཏེ། མི་མང་པོ་ཕངས་པའི་སྲོག་བསྐྱབས་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་འདི་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་བསྔོས་ཏེ། བདག་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་འཚང་རྒྱ་ཞིང་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་འཁོར་བའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ལས་བསྒྲལ་ནས། མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པའི་བདེ་བ་ལ་འགོད་པར་ཤོག་ཤིག་ཅེས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་བོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་སྟོང་གསུམ་གྱི་སྟོང་ཆེན་པོའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་རྣམ་པ་དྲུག་ཏུ་གཡོས་ཏེ། ལྷའི་ཕོ་བྲང་ཀུན་ལྟེག་ཅིང་གཡོས་ནས

当他走到膝盖西边一点的时候，感到疲惫不堪。由于口渴难耐，生命垂危，于是这样说道： “谁是有慈悲心的人，能成为我这样痛苦之身和性命的救护者呢？” 他这样说完之后，当时在那座山上，有一只名叫昆达的野兽，它身体的毛发颜色像金子的颜色一样，毛发的顶端会发出金色的光芒。它从远处听到了那个人说的话，生起了非常慈悲的心，于是将身体浸泡在有清凉泉水的地方，然后来到那个人面前，用翅膀拥抱住那个人，让他稍微恢复了一些精神，然后把他带到水边洗漱，采集树上的果实让他吃。 之后，那个人恢复了意识，心想： “这只野兽是国王想要得到的啊。 我从死亡中被救出来，它救了我的命，如果我不报答它的小恩小惠，反而生起杀害它的念头，这怎么可以呢？ 如果找不到它，那些猎人连同他们的亲属都会被牵连而受到惩罚。” 他这样想着，闷闷不乐地坐着。野兽问他：“你为什么这样不高兴呢？” 他流着眼泪，详细地说了出来。 昆达对他说：“你不要不高兴。我的皮很容易得到。我想我在前世已经舍弃了无数的身体，但是没有做过能让身体变成福德的事情。现在我的身体的皮可以救他们的命。”说完，生起了非常欢喜的心，说：“你不要杀我，剥了我的皮拿走吧！我毫无后悔之心，把它布施给你。” 当时，猎人慢慢地剥着它的皮，昆达这样发愿道： “我剥皮布施，救了许多人的性命的这个福德，回向给所有的众生。愿我证得无上菩提，圆满成佛，并将一切众生从轮回的痛苦中解脱出来，安置于涅槃的安乐之中！” 当时，三千大千世界发生了六种震动，所有天神的宫殿都摇晃起来。

When he had gone a little west of his knees, he became exhausted. Tormented by thirst, he was on the verge of death, and so he spoke thus: "Who is compassionate, who will become the protector of my suffering body and life?" After he said this, at that time on that mountain, there was a wild animal named Kunda, whose body hair was the color of gold, and the tips of its hair emitted golden light. From afar, it heard the words spoken by that man, and a very compassionate mind arose. So it immersed its body in a place with cool spring water, and then came to the man. It embraced the man with its wings, allowing him to regain some strength, and then led him to the water's edge to wash, and gathered fruits from the trees for him to eat. After that, the man regained consciousness and thought: "This wild animal is what the king desires. I was saved from death, it saved my life, and if I do not repay its small kindness, but instead have the thought of killing it, how can this be? If it cannot be found, those hunters, along with their relatives, will be implicated and punished." Thinking this, he sat there unhappily. The wild animal asked him, "Why are you so unhappy?" He shed tears and explained in detail. Kunda said to him, "Do not be unhappy. My skin is very easy to obtain. I think that in previous lives I have given up countless bodies, but I have not done deeds that would turn the body into merit. Now the skin of my body can save their lives." Having said this, a very joyful mind arose, and he said, "Do not kill me, peel off my skin and take it! I have no regrets, I give it to you." At that time, the hunter slowly peeled off its skin, and Kunda made this aspiration: "I peel off my skin and give it away, and dedicate this merit of saving the lives of many people to all sentient beings. May I attain unsurpassed enlightenment, perfectly awaken, and liberate all sentient beings from the suffering of samsara, and place them in the bliss of nirvana!" At that time, the three thousand great thousand world realms shook in six ways, and all the palaces of the gods trembled and shook.
