As soon as the prince undid the jewel on his head, she immediately saw him return to his ugly appearance, and was very happy, asking, "Why is this so?" The prince explained in detail what had happened. From then on, the husband and wife were very loving. The prince's name was 'Tree Stump,' and later he was renamed Prince Sulan Shan. Then, at another time, the prince thought, "Now I should prepare the army and build a palace." Thinking this, he went to a wide and flat piece of land, proclaiming, "Build a palace here!" Four dragon kings transformed into humans and asked, "If you build a palace here, what will you build it with?" Prince Sulan Shan said, "Build it with earth." The four dragon kings said, "Why not build it with jewels?" The king said, "If you want to build a large palace, where can you find so many jewels?" The dragon kings said, "We will offer them." Then they transformed each of the four directions into a pool of water, saying, "If you take water from the east pool to build, everything will turn into gold. If you take water from the south pool to build, everything will turn into gold. If you take water from the west pool to build, everything will turn into silver. If you take water from the north pool to build, everything will turn into crystal." They said this. The prince also took water from the pools to build as they had said, and everything turned out as they had said. Then, he built a palace wall with a circumference of four hundred yojanas, and inside it he built a palace of forty yojanas. Along the roads were multi-storied buildings, gardens, and bathing ponds made of four kinds of jewels. It was built to be as exquisite as the palace of the gods. As soon as it was completed, seven kinds of jewels appeared, ruling the four continents and spreading virtue.

At that time, in that era, I also argued with them about beauty, I killed them all, and the army also gathered into a retinue, until now, because of jealousy of fame and gain. They want to compete with me, but they have no miraculous powers. Because it didn't go as planned, they drowned and died! Like that, their retinue of ninety thousand also gathered into my retinue and became my close attendants! Then, King Embodied Heart spoke to the Bhagavan like this: What meritorious deeds did that Stump King do in the past, that he is so powerful, yet so extremely ugly? The Bhagavan said to the king: There are causes and conditions, I will explain. In the past, countless eons ago, in this Jambudvipa, in a place called ..., there lived a Pratyekabuddha named Righteous Ascetic. That Pratyekabuddha had a wind disease, so he had to drink oil as medicine for the wind disease. So he went to the house of an oil presser to beg for oil. The oil presser got angry at him and said: Head like a stump, hands and feet like branches, this one can't do anything, can't even squeeze out a drop of milk, only relies on begging for a living! He scolded and beat him like that. However, he still gave him a bit of oil. The Pratyekabuddha got the oil and went out, and as he was leaving, he met the wife of the oil presser at the door. She developed faith in the Pratyekabuddha and asked: Where did you come from, sir? What are you going to do with this oil? The Pratyekabuddha also told the truth. The wife invited the Pratyekabuddha back, brought him into the house, took out a bowl, filled it with oil, and offered it to him.
