The enemy army, upon hearing it, was terrified and scattered. Then the prince returned, and the king and queen were initially saddened and wanted to get a wife for the prince. At that time, it was heard that there was a king named Lishibaza, who had a daughter, rarely beautiful in the world. The king sent a messenger to ask for that daughter in marriage, saying, 'Among our princes, there is one who is handsome and a soldier.' That king then gave his daughter in marriage. Then the king was very happy and prepared the utensils for welcoming the bride, and sent the Trunk Prince himself to welcome the bride, instructing him, 'Do not meet the bride during the day, but meet her at night.' Then he sent him off. Later, at another time, that daughter met with other sisters, and each told of the virtues of their husbands. The wife of the Trunk Prince also praised her husband, saying, 'My husband is brave and has immense strength, and the skin of his body is very soft.' The sisters said, 'Don't speak! Your husband is very ugly, like a tree stump. If you see him during the day, you will surely be frightened.' The wife of the Trunk Prince, hearing the sisters say this, kept it in her mind. At night, she lit a lamp, and while her husband was asleep, she held up the lamp and looked carefully. Seeing that he was very ugly, she was terrified and immediately fled back to her parents' home. The Trunk Prince realized it in the morning and was very unhappy. Holding his bow and conch, he went to his wife's hometown to look for his wife. After arriving at that place, he stayed at the house of a minister. After staying for some time, at another time, the kings of six small countries heard that King Lishibaza had a beautiful daughter, and each led their armies to come to ask for her hand in marriage. At that time, King Lishibaza was very unhappy and gathered his ministers to discuss, saying, 'If we give the daughter to one king, then the other kings will be unhappy and bear grudges. What should we do to avoid war?'

He led the army, accompanied by his wife, and returned to his own country. The king heard that the prince had returned, so he went outside the city to greet him, wanting to give the throne to the prince, but the prince could not accept it, so he returned the throne to his father. He lived with his wife as before. He asked his wife, "Why did you abandon me and run away at night?" The wife replied, "You were so ugly that I thought you were not human, so I ran away in fear." Then, the prince took a mirror, and when he looked in the mirror, he saw that his appearance was very ugly, and he was so disgusted that he didn't want to look at his own body. He went to a garden and cried. Indra, the lord of the gods, saw him from afar and came to him, asking him why he was crying. The king told him the truth, and Indra comforted him and gave him a precious jewel, saying, "Always wear this jewel on your head, and you will become as handsome and beautiful as I am." As soon as the prince put the jewel on his head, he felt that his body had become even better than before. He returned to the palace, picked up his bow and conch shell, and went out to play. His wife did not recognize him and said, "Who are you?"
