在舍卫城，胜光王子花园的给孤独园林中，（佛陀）与一千三百五十名比丘僧团在一起。当时，那个地方有个富裕显赫家族的妻子生了一个儿子，相貌端庄，惹人喜爱，美好，俊美。刚出生，就从天空像下雨一样降下天界的鲜花，整个房间都充满了鲜花，因此给孩子取名为天花。这个孩子后来长大了，去了佛陀所在的地方，看到了佛陀的身色、相好和无与伦比的美好，生起了极大的欢喜，心想：我生于此世，能与圣者之主相遇，应该迎请佛陀和圣者比丘僧团。心想之后，就对佛陀这样说道：世尊，请您和圣者僧团一起，明天光临寒舍，接受微薄的供养。因为知道他的心是纯洁的，所以佛陀答应前往。之后，天花回到家中，第二天，佛陀和僧团也来到了他的家中。天花在天界的宫殿中变幻出许多珍贵的坐垫，用装饰品庄严起来，请佛陀和僧团依次坐在那些坐垫上。天花心想需要各种各样的食物，由于他的福德，如他所想的那样得到了，于是对佛陀和僧团进行了供养。佛陀接过钵，为天花广泛地宣讲佛法，天花家中的所有人都获得了入流果。之后，天花向父母请求出家，并成为佛陀的近侍，父母也同意了。那个孩子去了佛陀所在的地方，用头顶礼佛陀的脚，请求在佛陀的教法中出家。世尊也说：比丘，善来。

In Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove of Anathapindika's Garden, (the Buddha) was with a sangha of one thousand three hundred and fifty monks. At that time, in that place, the wife of a wealthy and prominent family gave birth to a son, who was handsome, pleasing to the eye, good, and beautiful. As soon as he was born, divine flowers rained down from the sky, filling the entire house, so the child was named Divine Flower. Later, when the boy grew up, he went to where the Buddha was, and seeing the Buddha's complexion, marks, and unparalleled beauty, he felt great joy and thought: Although I was born in this world, I have met the lord of the noble ones, so I should invite the Buddha and the sangha of noble monks. After thinking this, he said to the Buddha: Blessed One, please, together with the noble sangha, come to my humble abode tomorrow and accept a meager offering. Knowing that his mind was pure, the Buddha agreed to go. Then, Divine Flower returned home, and the next day, the Buddha and the sangha also went to his house. Divine Flower conjured up many precious cushions in the heavenly palace, adorned them with ornaments, and invited the Buddha and the sangha to sit on those cushions in order. Divine Flower thought that he needed all kinds of food, and because of his merit, he received what he thought, and made offerings to the Buddha and the sangha. The Buddha took the bowl and extensively taught the Dharma to Divine Flower, and all the people in Divine Flower's house obtained the fruit of stream-entry. After that, Divine Flower asked his parents for permission to renounce and become an attendant of the Buddha, and his parents agreed. The boy went to where the Buddha was, bowed his head at the Buddha's feet, and asked to be ordained in the Buddha's teachings. The Blessed One also said: "Monk, welcome."

赐予后，头发和胡须自然脱落，穿上袈裟后，按照佛的教诲精进修行，成为了阿罗汉。之后，阿难陀看到那样的情况后，前往佛陀所在的地方，到达后双膝跪地，向世尊禀告道：‘这位天花比丘先前做了什么善业，能使天花自然降落，珍宝的座位和各种食物如意化现？请世尊开示。’世尊对阿难陀说：‘想听的话就好好听着。过去的时候，有位名叫金寂佛的佛陀降临世间，广行利益众生的事业。’当时，许多僧众前往村庄化缘，一些出身高贵的大户人家供养了他们。当时，有个贫穷的人一无所有，却对僧众生起了极大的欢喜心。他心想：‘我无论如何也无法供养啊。’于是从草地和绿洲中采摘了各种各样的花朵，撒向僧众，以清净的心打扫干净后离开了。世尊对阿难陀说：‘当时那个用花朵撒向僧众的贫穷之人，就是这位天花比丘。’如此，在过去的时候，以清净的信心采摘花朵，撒向僧众并许愿，在九十一劫中，无论转生到哪里，容貌都端正美好，令人喜爱，并且如意获得食物、饮料、床榻等等，以那样的福德获得了果报。因此，阿难陀，所有众生都不要因为布施微小而轻视，认为没有福德。像天花一样，一切都会如意成就。’之后，阿难陀和众多眷属对世尊所说的话语心生欢喜，无比欣悦。《天花品》第九。 第十，《天宝品》。 如是我闻，一时，世尊在舍卫城，胜林给孤独园。

Having bestowed, his hair and beard fell out on their own. Having put on the monastic robes, he diligently practiced according to the Buddha's teachings and became an Arhat. Then, Ananda, having seen that happen, went to where the Buddha was. Having arrived, he knelt on the ground and said to the Bhagavan: 'What meritorious deeds did this celestial flower monk previously perform, that celestial flowers fall on their own, and precious seats and various foods manifest as desired? Please, Bhagavan, explain.' The Bhagavan said to Ananda: 'If you wish to hear, listen well. In the past, a Buddha named Golden Stillness descended into the world and extensively performed the deeds of benefiting sentient beings.' At that time, many Sangha members went to villages for alms, and wealthy householders made offerings. At that time, a poor person had no possessions at all, but a great feeling of joy arose in him towards the Sangha. He thought, 'I have no means to make offerings.' So he gathered various kinds of flowers from the meadows and grasslands, scattered them upon the Sangha, and with a pure mind, swept the ground clean and departed. The Bhagavan said to Ananda: 'That poor person who scattered flowers at that time is this celestial flower monk.' Thus, in the past, having gathered flowers with pure faith, scattered them upon the Sangha, and made aspirations, for ninety-one kalpas, wherever he was born, his appearance was always handsome and beautiful, pleasing to behold, and he obtained food, drink, beds, and so on, as he wished. Through that merit, he obtained the fruition. Therefore, Ananda, all sentient beings should not despise small acts of generosity, thinking they have no merit. Like the celestial flower, everything will be accomplished as desired.' Then, Ananda and the many attendants rejoiced in the words spoken by the Bhagavan and were exceedingly delighted. The Ninth Chapter, 'The Celestial Flower.' The Tenth Chapter, 'The Celestial Jewel.' Thus I have heard, at one time, the Bhagavan was in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Park.

住在给孤独园林中。那时，一位居士的妻子生了一个儿子。孩子出生时，天空中像下雨一样降下七宝，充满了整个房子。之后，请来算命师看孩子的命相。算命师对居士说：“这孩子的命相非常好。”居士非常高兴，请求算命师给孩子取名，并询问孩子出生时出现了什么征兆。居士说：“这孩子出生时，天空中像下雨一样降下七宝，充满了整个房子。”算命师根据福德给孩子取名，给孩子起名叫“天宝”。后来，孩子长大后，博学多闻，精通各种技艺，无与伦比。他非常向往出家，于是向父母告别，前往佛陀所在的地方。到达后，他用头顶礼佛足，对世尊说：“世尊，我想出家。”世尊答应说：“善来比丘。”他的头发和胡须自然脱落，身上穿上了袈裟。世尊为他说法，他证得了阿罗汉果。阿难向世尊请教：“世尊，这位天宝比丘，过去做了什么福德，以至于出生时天空中像下雨一样降下七宝，衣食无忧，一切圆满？”佛陀告诉阿难：“过去世，有位佛陀名叫金寂佛出世，他在世间利益众生，功德无量。当时，许多僧人前往城市化缘。城里的许多居士迎请僧众，供养各种物品。当时，一位贫穷的人，以信心随喜，但没有任何财物和供品，于是用一把用白色小石子做成的宝物投向僧众，并立下宏愿。”

When the boy was born, seven kinds of precious jewels fell from the sky like rain, filling the entire house. Then, they called a fortune teller to examine the boy's horoscope. The fortune teller said to the householder, "This boy's horoscope is very good." The householder was very happy and asked the fortune teller to name the boy, and asked what omens had appeared when the boy was born. The householder said, "When this boy was born, seven kinds of precious jewels fell from the sky like rain, filling the entire house." The fortune teller named the boy based on his merit, and named the boy "Divine Jewel." Later, the boy grew up and became very learned, knowledgeable, and his skills were unparalleled. He had great faith in renunciation, so he bid farewell to his parents and went to where the Buddha was. Upon arriving, he bowed his head to the Buddha's feet and said to the Blessed One, "Blessed One, I wish to renounce." The Blessed One granted him permission, saying, "Welcome, Bhikshu." His hair and beard fell off naturally, and he wore the robes. The Blessed One taught him the Dharma, and he became an Arhat. Ananda asked the Blessed One, "Blessed One, what merit did this Bhikshu Divine Jewel perform in the past, that when he was born, seven kinds of precious jewels fell from the sky like rain, and he had abundant clothing and food, and everything was fulfilled?" The Buddha told Ananda, "In the past, a Buddha named Golden Stillness appeared in the world, and he benefited sentient beings in the world immeasurably. At that time, many monks went to the city to beg for alms. Many householders in the city invited the Sangha and offered various items. At that time, a poor man, with faith, rejoiced, but he had no wealth or offerings, so he threw a handful of jewels made of white pebbles at the Sangha and made a great vow."
