By making offerings to the solitary realizer, wherever she was born, she was of noble birth and possessed wealth and enjoyment, and eventually attained liberation. 与十三位一起安住。那时，那个城市里，一位居士的妻子生了一个儿子，取名为金线。他相貌端正，善良且非常美丽，世间无与伦比。这个孩子因前世的业力，出生时双手紧握拳头。孩子的父母也感到非常惊讶，心想这是吉祥之兆，于是打开孩子的两个拳头查看。结果，孩子的每个手掌中都有一枚金币。 父母二人非常高兴，取走了两枚金币。取走之后，原来的地方又出现了金币，于是他们一次又一次地取走。就这样，父母二人从孩子的手掌中取金币，即使仓库装满了，孩子手中的金币也没有用完。这个孩子后来长大，向父母请求说：“我想出家。”父母也如他所愿，答应了他。之后，孩子金线去了世尊所在的地方，用头顶礼世尊的双足，向佛陀这样祈请道：“世尊，为了怜悯我，请导师允许我出家。”世尊对孩子金线说：“我允许你出家。”就这样，佛陀允许后，孩子金线剃除了头发和胡须，穿上法衣，成为了一名沙弥。后来，年数已满，到了受比丘戒的时候，他向僧团祈求信心，请求受比丘戒。受比丘戒的僧团依次接受他的顶礼，当他的双手每次接触地面时，都会出现一枚金币。就这样，每次顶礼都会出现金币。受比丘戒后，他精进修行，成为了阿罗汉。阿难向世尊祈请道：“世尊，这位金线比丘过去做了什么善业，以至于从出生到现在一直拥有金币？请世尊开示。”世尊对阿难说：“仔细听，好好记住，我会为你讲述。”

He had a good appearance, was virtuous and extremely beautiful, unparalleled in the world. Due to past karma, the boy was born with both hands clenched into fists. The boy's parents were also very surprised, thinking it was auspicious, so they opened the boy's two fists to look. As a result, there was a gold coin in each of the boy's palms. The parents were very happy and took the two gold coins. After taking them, there were still more in the original place, so they took them again and again. In this way, the parents took gold coins from the boy's palms, and even though the storehouse was full, the coins in the boy's hands were never exhausted. Later, the boy grew up and asked his parents, "I want to become a renunciate." The parents also granted his wish. Then, the boy Golden Thread went to where the Bhagavan was, prostrated at his feet with his head, and prayed to the Buddha, saying, "Bhagavan, for the sake of compassion for me, please, Teacher, allow me to become a renunciate." The Bhagavan said to the boy Golden Thread, "I allow you to become a renunciate." Thus, after the Buddha allowed it, the boy Golden Thread shaved his hair and beard, put on monastic robes, and became a novice monk. Later, when the years were complete and it was time to receive the full ordination, he requested faith from the Sangha and asked to be fully ordained. He paid homage to the fully ordained Sangha in sequence, and each time his hands touched the ground, there would be a gold coin. In this way, gold coins appeared in all the places where he prostrated. After receiving the full ordination, he practiced diligently and became an Arhat. Ananda prayed to the Bhagavan, "Bhagavan, what virtuous deeds did this monk Golden Thread do in the past, that he has possessed gold coins from birth until now? Please explain, Bhagavan." The Bhagavan said to Ananda, "Listen carefully and keep it well in mind, and I will tell you."

The Blessed One declared: In the past, ninety-one kalpas ago, a Buddha named Golden Light appeared in the world, benefiting sentient beings with the true Dharma, the number of which is inexpressible and inconceivable. That Buddha, together with the Sangha, traveled and wandered in various places. At that time, some householders of noble birth, wealthy and possessing abundant resources, prepared various kinds of food and made offerings to the Buddha and his attendant noble Sangha. At that time, there was a poor man who had nothing and always went to the mountains to gather firewood and sell it. Later, he earned two copper coins from selling firewood. This poor man saw the Buddha and the Sangha being invited to the royal palace and was overjoyed. He offered his only two copper coins to the Buddha and the Sangha. The Blessed One compassionately agreed and accepted the two copper coins. The Blessed One told Ananda: At that time, this poor man offered two copper coins to the Buddha and the Sangha, so for ninety-one kalpas, he always held a golden copper coin in his hand, and his wealth, treasures, and necessities of life were inexhaustible and inexhaustible. At that time, that poor man was this Bhikshu Golden Staff. Even though this person has not yet attained the Arhat fruit, the future ripening of the fruit is immeasurable. Therefore, Ananda, all sentient beings should strive to engage in the act of giving. At that time, Ananda and many attendants, after hearing the Buddha's teachings, generated faith and joy. Some attained the Stream-enterer fruit, some attained the Once-returner fruit, some attained the Non-returner fruit and the Arhat fruit. Some generated the mind of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment.
