At that time, a minister came from outside to the inside and saw someone being imprisoned. He asked the servants, "What crime did this person commit to be imprisoned?" They explained in detail the reason for the imprisonment. That minister said to them, "Do not kill him for now, I will plead with the king." After saying this, he entered the palace and reported to the king, saying: "That person who is being taken to be executed has not done anything that deserves to be executed. Singing or raising musical instruments is invisible, it is not an unreasonable agitation, nor is it an improper act towards the queen. Please be merciful, considering his life, he should be released." The king also ordered, "Do not kill him, release him." That person then went to work as a servant of the minister. Later, after many years, he thought to himself, "The harm of desire is sharper than swords, my suffering is also because of desire." So he requested the minister, "Please allow me to become a monk and practice the path of liberation." The minister also said, "If you practice the path of liberation, I will not hinder you. After you are liberated, I hope to meet you again." Then that person went to a secluded place, contemplated the true meaning, practiced diligently, and became a Pratyekabuddha. After that, he returned to the city and came to the place where the minister was. That minister was very happy and offered alms and the four necessities of life with people and mules. Then, that Pratyekabuddha ascended into the sky, with water flowing from his body, fire appearing, emitting strong light, etc., showing eighteen kinds of miracles. That minister, seeing these sights, felt immeasurable joy and vowed, "This person has survived because of my kindness, wherever I am born, may I be strong and rich, long-lived, surpassing others a hundredfold or a thousandfold, and may wisdom and merit be equal to him." The Bhagavan said to the king, "At that time, that minister saved a person's life, and therefore obtained the result."

That which has been done is this. By that cause and that condition, wherever he was born, it did not become an obstacle to his life. Now that he has met me, he has finally obtained the supreme fruit. When the Blessed One spoke, all the many attendants rejoiced and were manifestly delighted. The chapter of the son of the gods, Gangdara, the sixth, is complete. Chapter Seven: The Chapter of Vajra, the Daughter of King Light. Thus I have heard. Once, the Blessed One was in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, in the Garden of Anathapindika. At that time, the great queen of King Light, named Burn, gave birth to a daughter, and the daughter was named Vajra. Her face was extremely ugly, the flesh of her body was very rough, as hard as a tiger's skin, and her hair was as tangled as a horse's tail. The king also disliked the daughter because she was ugly, so he raised her in a place in the palace where no one could see her. Although the daughter was ugly in appearance, because she was born to the great queen, she was raised where no one could see her, even though she was ugly. Later, she grew up and reached the time for marriage, and the king was very displeased. He ordered the minister, saying: "Originally, because of his high lineage, he belonged to the free caste, but now he has fallen. Find someone who has no wealth or possessions and bring him here." Then the minister also found someone who was of high lineage and had fallen from the son of the free caste and was poor, and presented him to the king. The king also secretly said to him in a deserted place where no one was present: "I have a daughter who is ugly in appearance. When she reaches the time for marriage, she has not found a good match. Although you are of noble lineage, you are poor and have nothing, but you can take her as your wife." Then the boy knelt on the ground and said: "I will follow the king's command. If the great king were to give me a female dog, I would also accept it. What need is there to mention a princess who is related to the king's bloodline? I will accept it according to your command." The king also gave the princess to the poor man as his wife, and built a dwelling for her, with seven layers of doors, and said to the soldiers
