ང་ཡང་སྔོན་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བའི་ཆོས་གོས་ཁ་དོག་བསྒྱུར་བ་གྱོན་པ་ལ་དད་པའི་སེམས་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། བསྟི་སྟང་བྱས་པས་མངོན་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་སོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་གསོལ་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་སྔོན་ཁ་ དོག་བསྒྱུར་བའི་ཆོས་གོས་བགོས་ཤིང་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བ་ལ་བསྟི་སྟང་བགྱིས་པ་བསྟན་དུ་གསོལ། ཐོས་པར་འཚལ་ལོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ལ་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཤིན་ཏུ་ལེགས་པར་ཉོན་ལ་ཡིད་ལ་ཟུང་ཤིག་དང་། ཁྱོད་ལ་ངས་བསྟན་པར་བྱའོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་སྔོན་འདས་པའི་བསྐལ་པ་ཚད་མེད་པ་གྲངས་མེད་པའི་ཕ་རོལ་ན། འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་འདིར་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་དེ་བྱི་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཞིག་བྱུང་སྟེ། རྒྱལ་ཕྲན་བརྒྱད་ཁྲི་བཞི་སྟོང་སྙེད་ལ་དབང་བྱེད་དོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་ན་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཆོས་ནི་མེད་དེ། རང་སངས་རྒྱས་དག་ཅིག་རི་དང་ཚལ་ན་གནས་པ་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་རྒྱུ་ཞིང་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་དོན་མཛད་དོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་རི་དགས་དེ་དག་ལ་བསྙེན་བཀུར་བྱེད་དོ། །སེང་གེ་ཡི་དམ་བརྟན་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ལུས་ཀྱི་སྤུ་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག་ལྟ་བུར་འདུག་ལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་འཚེར་བ་ཞིག་དེ་ན་འདུག་སྟེ། ཟས་སུ་འབྲས་བུ་དང་རྩ་བ་ཟའོ། །སེམས་ཅན་མི་གསོད་དོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་རྔོན་པ་ཞིག་གིས་མཐོང་ནས་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་སྟེ། ད་བདག་གིས་བདེ་བ་ཐོབ་ཀྱིས་སེང་གེ་འདི་བསད་ལ་པགས་པ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་ཕུལ་ན། གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་དབུལ་པོ་བོར་རོ་སྙམ་བསམས་ཏེ། དུས་གཞན་ཞིག་ན་སྐྲ་དྲེགས་ཆོས་གོས་གྱོན་མདའ་གཞུ་མཆན་དུ་བཅུག་སྟེ། སེང་གེ་གང་ན་འདུག་པར་སོང་ངོ་། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་སེང་གེ་དེ་གཉིད་ལོག་སྟེ་ཉལ་བ་ལས་རྔོན་པས་དུག་མདའ་འཕངས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་སེང་གེ་སད་ནས་རྔོན་པ་བསྙགས་པ་དང་། ཆོས་གོས་གྱོན་པ་མཐོང་ནས། འདི་སྙམ་དུ་བསམས་སོ། །མི་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་ནི་འཇིག་རྟེན་ན་ཡུན་རིང་དུ་མི་གནས་ཏེ། རིང་པོར་མི་ཐོགས་པར་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཀུན་ལས་རྣམ་པར་གྲོལ་ལོ། །དེ་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ཞེ་ན། ཁ་དོག་བསྒྱུར་བའི་ཆོས་གོས་འདི་ནི་འདས་པ་དང་། མ་འོངས་པ་དང་། ད་ལྟར་གྱི་འཕགས་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་མཚན་ཡིན་ཏེ། བདག་གིས་གནོད་པ་བྱས་ན་དུས་གསུམ་གྱི་འཕགས་པ་རྣམས་ལ་ངན་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ་སྙམ་བསམས་ཏེ། གསོད་པའི་སེམས་གཏང་བ་དང་། དུག་མདས་ཞེན་པས་ལུས་དང་སྲོག་བྲལ་ལ་ཐུག་ནས་ཚིག་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ཡ་ལ་ལ་བ་ཤ་ས་སྭ་ཧ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ པའི་ཚིག་གིས་གནམ་ས་ཀུན་གཡོས་ནས། སྤྲིན་མེད་པར་ཆར་བབ་སྟེ། ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ལྷའི་མིག་གིས་བརྟགས་ན། འཇིག་རྟེན་འདིར་རྔོན་པས་

我也对以前出家的僧衣颜色改变的穿着生起了信仰之心。通过尊敬供养而证得了圆满正觉。阿难请示道：世尊，请您开示以前改变颜色的僧衣，以及对出家者尊敬供养的事迹。我渴望听闻。世尊对阿难说：你好好听着，用心记住，我将为你讲述。阿难，在过去无量无数劫之前，在此赡部洲，有一位伟大的国王名叫德比，他统治着八万四千个小国。那时，世间没有佛法，只有一些独觉住在山林中，在天空中飞行，利益众生。那时，人们对这些隐士进行侍奉供养。有一只名叫“誓言坚定”的狮子，身上的毛像金子一样闪闪发光，它以果实和草根为食，不杀害众生。当时，一个猎人看到它后非常高兴，心想：现在我得到幸福了，如果我杀了这只狮子，把皮献给国王，我就不会被鬼怪吃掉，也不会再贫穷了。于是，在另一个时候，他穿着褐色的僧衣，腋下夹着弓箭，去了狮子所在的地方。当时，狮子正在睡觉，猎人向它射了一支毒箭。狮子醒来后追赶猎人，看到他穿着僧衣，心想：这样的人不会在世间长久停留，不久就会从一切痛苦中解脱出来。为什么呢？因为这件改变颜色的僧衣是过去、未来和现在诸佛的标志。如果我伤害了他，就等于对三世诸佛产生了恶意。于是，他放弃了杀戮之心。由于毒箭的缘故，他的身体和生命即将分离，于是说了这样的话：雅拉拉瓦夏萨梭哈（藏文：ཡ་ལ་ལ་བ་ཤ་ས་སྭ་ཧ་，梵文天城体：यलालवशसस्वहा，梵文罗马拟音：yala lava śa sa svāhā，汉语字面意思：无意义）。说了这句话后，天地都震动了，无云降雨。诸天用天眼观察，发现这个世间有一个猎人

I also developed faith in wearing the changed color of the monastic robes of former renunciates. Through respect and veneration, I attained perfect enlightenment. Ananda requested: "World Honored One, please explain the story of the changed color of the monastic robes in the past, and the deeds of respecting and venerating renunciates. I long to hear it." The World Honored One said to Ananda: "Listen very well and keep it in mind, and I will tell you. Ananda, in the immeasurable and countless eons of the past, in this Jambudvipa, there was a great king named Debi, who ruled over eighty-four thousand small kingdoms. At that time, there was no Buddha's Dharma in the world, only some Pratyekabuddhas lived in the mountains and forests, flying in the sky and benefiting sentient beings. At that time, people served and venerated these hermits. There was a lion named 'Steadfast Vow,' whose body hair was like the color of gold, very shiny, and it lived there. It ate fruits and roots for food and did not kill sentient beings. At that time, a hunter saw it and was very happy, thinking: 'Now I will obtain happiness. If I kill this lion and offer its skin to the king, I will not be eaten by demons and will no longer be poor.' So, at another time, he wore brown monastic robes, tucked a bow and arrow under his arm, and went to where the lion was. At that time, the lion was asleep. The hunter shot a poisoned arrow at it. The lion woke up and chased the hunter, and seeing him wearing monastic robes, he thought: 'Such a person will not stay in the world for long, and will soon be liberated from all suffering. Why? Because this changed color of monastic robes is the emblem of the Buddhas of the past, future, and present. If I harm him, it is equivalent to generating malice towards the Buddhas of the three times.' So, he gave up the thought of killing. Because of the poisoned arrow, his body and life were about to separate, so he said these words: yala lava śa sa svāhā (藏文：ཡ་ལ་ལ་བ་ཤ་ས་སྭ་ཧ་，梵文天城体：यलालवशसस्वहा，梵文罗马拟音：yala lava śa sa svāhā，汉语字面意思：无意义). After saying these words, the heavens and the earth shook, and rain fell without clouds. The gods observed with their divine eyes and discovered that in this world there was a hunter.

Having seen the lion, who manifested as a Bodhisattva, killed, heavenly flowers rained down from the sky above like rain, and offerings were made to the lion's corpse. Then, the hunter skinned the lion and came home, offering it to the king as a gift and requesting a reward. The king thought to himself: In texts and treatises, it is said that any animal whose fur is like gold is certainly a Bodhisattva, a great being. Why should I give this hunter a reward? If I give a reward, it is no different than killing him myself. At that time, the hunter urged again, and the king gave him a small reward, saying to the hunter: When you killed this lion, were there any great wonders or omens? The hunter replied: From the lion's mouth came these eight syllables, and the earth and sky shook, rain fell without clouds, and the gods showered down flowers. At that time, the king heard this and was very unhappy. He generated faith and gathered all the ministers and wise elders of the past, and analyzed the words spoken by the lion, but no one understood or knew. In a secluded place, there was a wise and knowledgeable ascetic named Shama. The king invited the ascetic and asked him, and the ascetic said: 'Ya la la' means that one who shaves his hair and wears dyed robes will quickly be liberated from birth and death. 'Va sha sa' means that one who shaves his hair and wears dyed robes is a sign of the noble ones and is close to Nirvana. '...' means that one who shaves his hair and wears dyed robes will be honored by gods, humans, and the entire world. At that time, the ascetic said these words, and the king was very happy. He gathered eighty-four thousand kings of small kingdoms and placed the lion's skin on a tall chariot adorned with seven jewels, making it visible to all. He had them make offerings with incense and flowers and prostrate. Then, he made a golden box and placed the lion's skin in it.
