The king said: "Are you an anāgāmin, a sakṛdāgāmin, or a sotāpanna? Have you attained neither perception nor non-perception, the realm of nothingness, the realm of infinite consciousness, or the realm of infinite space? Have you attained the fourth dhyāna, the third, the second, or the first dhyāna?" He said: "Great king, I have not." Then the king thought: "This bhikṣu is not free from desire, and he has not been taught by his preceptor and teacher. I will teach him." Then he summoned the long-serving attendants and had them severely whipped with a whip and sent him away. Then, having been whipped with the whip, his skin was torn, and he thought in anger: "I have done nothing wrong, but this cruel king of a bad time is beating me. 虽然多次阻止也未能阻止，具寿雅那之子对他说：孩子，你如果这样想去，现在天色已晚，路上有狮子、老虎、豹子和熊等猛兽的威胁，今晚就在这里住下，明天再去吧。然后他说：我将按照堪布（khen po，藏语，意为亲教师）的吩咐去做。于是，那位住在那里的人和他同住在一个房间里。具寿雅那之子为了阻止他，就加持他，以便他在睡觉的梦中接受教诲，去父亲的国土，父亲让他掌管他的王位，赐予四支军队，并这样告诫说：你首先要做的事情就是消灭敌人。说完之后，他一听到这话，就整顿了四支军队，向暴君饶桑（Rab Snang）的国土发动了战争。暴君饶桑打败了他的军队，制服了他，让他背对着自己，活捉了他并下令处决。然后，刽子手们把他带到刑场，当他快要到达刑场时，他看到在梦中，具寿雅那之子在城市里挨家挨户地乞讨，他顶礼膜拜，说道：堪布，请您救救我！请您赐予我苦难和生命！他梦见自己这样说着。然后，他被吓醒了，但仍然认为梦是真的，并像那样大喊大叫。具寿雅那之子对他说：孩子，你只是做了一个梦，不要害怕。一听到这话，萨拉纳（Sara Na）就高兴起来，并开始思考：这个名叫萨拉纳的就是我自己啊，我没有伤害过任何一个众生，现在我却被愤怒冲昏了头脑，在梦中也杀死了那么多人。我竟然放弃了这样的追求。然后，那位住在那里的人意识到他很沮丧，就向他宣讲了与他相应的佛法。因此，萨拉纳坐在那个座位上，就断除了一切烦恼，成为了敌人。

Although he was repeatedly prevented, he could not be stopped. The venerable Yana's son said to him: Boy, if you want to go like this, it is getting late now. There is the danger of lions, tigers, leopards, and bears on the road. Stay here for tonight and go tomorrow. Then he said: I will do as the Khenpo (Tibetan for preceptor) has instructed. So, that one who lived there slept in the same room with him. In order to dissuade him, the venerable Yana's son blessed him so that he would receive teachings in his dream while sleeping, go to his father's land, and his father would let him rule his kingdom, give him four divisions of the army, and instruct him thus: The first thing you must do is to destroy the enemy. Having said that, as soon as he heard this, he organized the four divisions of the army and launched a war against the land of the tyrant Rab Snang. The tyrant Rab Snang defeated his army, subdued him, made him turn his back, captured him alive, and ordered him to be executed. Then, the executioners led him to the execution ground, and as he was about to reach the execution ground, he saw in his dream that the venerable Yana's son was begging from house to house in the city. He prostrated and said: Khenpo, please save me! Please grant me suffering and life! He was blessed to see himself saying this in a dream. Then, he woke up frightened, but still thought the dream was real and shouted like that. The venerable Yana's son said to him: Boy, you just had a dream, don't be afraid. As soon as he heard this, Sarana became happy and began to think: This one called Sarana is myself, and I have not harmed a single being. Now I have been overwhelmed by anger and have killed so many people even in my dream. I have given up such a pursuit. Then, the one who lived there realized that he was depressed and taught him the Dharma that suited him. Therefore, Sarana, while sitting on that seat, abandoned all defilements and became an enemy.
