That is because, at that time, I also abandoned greed with this body and dwelled in the four dhyanas and five supernormal powers. Now, I also abandon greed with this body, achieve ultimate eternity, and dwell in the bliss of nirvana. Furthermore, in the teachings of the perfectly enlightened Buddha Light, this person became a monk, and there this person practiced pure conduct for one lifetime, fully maturing the faculties, and therefore now has attained complete liberation. The second Kinnara story is: The setting of the story is in Kapilavastu, where the Blessed One met with his father and son. At that time, the Blessed One accepted a meal at King Suddhodana's residence one day, and the next day accepted a meal at the residence of the consorts. When the Blessed One returned after accepting a meal at the residence of the consorts, a woman named 'Holder of Fame' went up to the roof and watched the Blessed One. When she could no longer see the Blessed One, she jumped from the roof, and due to the Buddha's power, the ground became like a cushion filled with cotton, so that she was not harmed in the slightest. Later, the monks heard about this and reported to the Buddha, the Blessed One, saying, 'Venerable One, behold, Holder of Fame has given up her life for the sake of the Blessed One.' The Blessed One said, 'Not only now, but also in the past, she gave up her life for me. Listen.' Monks, in the past, in the city of Varanasi, King Brahma Dana ruled the country. Later, one day, King Brahma Dana equipped the four divisions of his army and went hunting. Because his horse was too fast, the army was left behind, and the king went alone. Separated from his army, he felt tired, pained, and weak, so he entered a forest to rest. In that forest, there lived a Kinnara who, together with his Kinnara wife, played the lute and enjoyed happiness. The king saw them, and then...

Sa. As soon as he saw her, the king became extremely infatuated with the Kinnara woman. Overcome by desire, he fatally struck the Kinnara with a poisoned arrow, and he died right there. Then, after killing the Kinnara, the king went to the Kinnara woman and said, "Beautiful one, come here, let us both enjoy pleasure together." The Kinnara woman said, "With my husband's corpse lying before me, how can I enjoy pleasure with you? First, let me make offerings to his bones, and then I will do as you wish." Having said this, she gathered wood, piled it up, placed the Kinnara's bones on top, lit a fire, and sat to one side. Then, when the fire blazed up on the wood burning the bones, the Kinnara woman jumped into the fire and died there. Then, the great king, utterly despondent, spoke in verse at that time, saying: Thinking of other things, I did not change into something else. Hoping to enjoy the Kinnara woman, I killed two beings. Monks, what do you think? The one who became a Kinnara at that time, who abided in the conduct of a Bodhisattva, was none other than myself. The one who became the Kinnara woman at that time was none other than this Grakdzinma (Fame Holder), and at that time, she completely gave herself up for my sake, and even now, she has completely given herself up for my sake. The seventh verse of the summary from the Hundred Deeds is complete. The seventh verse of the summary, the lower [section].
