此地有的会转变为具有力量的转轮王，有的会转变为帝释天，有的会转变为梵天，有的会生起声闻的菩提，有的会生起独觉的菩提，有的会生起无上正等圆满菩提的种子。那些眷属之中，大多数都倾向于佛，趋向于法，趋向于僧，这样安排了。之后，众比丘向世尊禀告：尊者世尊，请您垂视，世尊您已使众多被火焰烧灼的众生得以解脱，并将他们安置于永恒的究竟成就和安乐的涅槃之中。世尊开示说：不仅是现在，过去世我也曾从火的恐惧中救护了众多旁生，请听我讲述如何将它们安置于无畏之地。比丘们，过去世曾发生过这样的事，在一个森林里，大多数鸟类都居住在那里。之后，在那片森林里，由于干燥的树木互相摩擦，产生了火。那些鸟类中能够飞走的都飞走了，不能飞走的和鸟蛋都被遗弃在那里。那时，有一位菩萨转生为一只名叫贡玛普热的鸟。那位菩萨从很远的地方看到火焰燃烧而来。看到之后，他对那些众生生起了慈悲心，心想：如果我没有为了这些遭受痛苦的众生而生起精进，我将如何从轮回中解脱众生呢？于是，那位菩萨将翅膀浸入水中，坐在大火上方的天空中，抖动翅膀，用偈颂说道：这些虽然有翅膀，但这些现在还不能飞。这些虽然有脚，但这些现在还不能走。这些的父母飞走了，火啊，你停住不要动！以真实和真语的力量，我以慈悲心精进修习的真实语的力量，火啊，你停住不要动！之后，天界的主宰帝释天，看到了菩萨为了众生的利益而不顾自身安危地坐在那里。

Some in this place will transform into powerful Chakravartin kings, some will transform into Indra, some will transform into Brahma, some will generate the Bodhi of Shravakas, some will generate the Bodhi of Pratyekabuddhas, and some will generate the seeds of Unsurpassed Perfect and Complete Bodhi. Among those retinues, most are inclined towards the Buddha, inclined towards the Dharma, and inclined towards the Sangha, thus arranged. Then, the monks beseeched the Bhagavan: Venerable Bhagavan, please behold how the Bhagavan has liberated many beings who were scorched by the flames, and has placed them in the ultimate attainment of eternity and the blissful Nirvana. The Bhagavan said: It is not only now, but in the past I also protected many animals from the fear of fire, listen to how I placed them in a place of fearlessness. Monks, in the past, it happened that in a forest, most of the birds lived there. Then, in that forest, fire arose from the dry trees rubbing against each other. Those among the birds who could fly flew away. Those who could not fly and the eggs were abandoned there. At that time, there was a Bodhisattva who was born as a bird named Gongma Phre. That Bodhisattva saw the flames burning from afar. Having seen this, he felt compassion for those beings, thinking: If I do not generate diligence for the sake of these suffering beings, how will I liberate beings from Samsara? Then, that Bodhisattva dipped his wings in water, sat in the sky above the great fire, shook his wings, and spoke in verse: These have wings, but these cannot yet fly. These have feet, but these cannot yet walk. The parents of these have flown away, fire, you stop and do not move! By the power of truth and true words, by the power of the true words that I have diligently cultivated with compassion, fire, you stop and do not move! Then, Indra, the lord of the gods, saw the Bodhisattva sitting there unhappily for the benefit of sentient beings.

观可爱。用乳、酪、酥油、炼酥和酥油精华养育长大后，在王舍城（Rajagriha）各地，他的名声都传开了。之后，当世尊证得无上智慧，逐渐做着调伏众生的事业，来到王舍城时，世尊在那里居住在光明园林中。 无数众生皈依，并被安置在学处。许多人从一个群体到另一个群体，从一个家族到另一个家族，从一个聚会到另一个聚会，时时前去瞻仰世尊。但他们都不再去瞻仰那个孩子了。后来有一天，观可爱童子问道：以前这么多人来瞻仰我，现在为什么不来瞻仰我了呢？他们回答说：他们现在都去瞻仰世尊了。童子说：世尊是什么样的人呢？于是父母二人便向他详细赞颂了世尊。他一听到这些，立刻感到非常惊奇，心想：比我还可爱的人会是什么样的呢？于是对父母说：父亲母亲，我想去瞻仰那位世尊。父母回答说：孩子，一起去吧。于是父母二人便带着孩子去了光明园林。孩子从远处看到，佛陀世尊的身体具备大丈夫相的三十二妙相，光芒四射，如同火焰之身，如同用酥油浇灌的火焰，如同放在金器中的酥油灯，如同用各种珍宝装饰的宝塔，他见到了智慧明亮、无垢无染的清净世尊。见到后，他对世尊生起了极大的欢喜，甚至生起了父亲的念头，他发出“父亲、父亲”的声音，朝向世尊所在的地方走去，走到后，用头顶礼世尊的足，像对待父亲一样，坐在世尊的脚下。

The one named 'Pleasing to See'. Having been raised and nurtured with milk, yogurt, butter, ghee, and the essence of ghee, his fame spread throughout the entire city of Rajagriha. Then, when the Blessed One attained unsurpassed wisdom and gradually engaged in the work of taming beings, he came to Rajagriha. There, the Blessed One resided in the grove of Radiance. Thousands of sentient beings took refuge and were established in the foundations of training. Many people from one group to another, from one family to another, and from one gathering to another, would go from time to time to see the Blessed One. But they no longer went to see that boy. Then one day, the boy 'Pleasing to See' asked: 'Formerly, so many people used to come to see me, why don't they come to see me now?' They replied: 'They now go to see the Blessed One.' The boy said: 'Who is this one called the Blessed One?' Then his parents extensively praised the Blessed One to him. As soon as he heard this, the boy was amazed and thought: 'What kind of being is he who is even more pleasing to see than I am?' Then he said to his parents: 'Father and Mother, I wish to go to see that Blessed One.' His parents replied: 'Child, let's go together.' Then his parents took the boy and went to the grove of Radiance. From afar, the boy saw the Buddha, the Blessed One, whose body was well adorned and radiant with the thirty-two major marks of a great being, appearing like a body of fire, like a flame fueled by ghee, like a butter lamp placed in a golden vessel, like a stupa adorned with various precious jewels. He saw the Buddha, the Blessed One, who was intelligent, stainless, pure, and possessed of all good qualities. Having seen him, he developed great joy towards the Blessed One and even had the perception of him as his father. He uttered the sound 'Father, Father' and went to where the Blessed One was. Having gone there, he bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One, held him as his father, and sat at the feet of the Blessed One.
