། དགེ་སློང་གི་དགེ་འདུན་གྱིས་མདུན་དུ་བདར་ནས། རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུ་ཆས་ཏེ། མཐར་གྱིས་རྒྱུ་ཞིང་གཤེགས་གཤེགས་ནས། སེང་གེའི་ནགས་ཁུང་དུ་བྱོན་ནས། སེང་གེ་དེ་གཉིས་ཟས་ཚོལ་དུ་སོང་སོང་བ་ལས། དེ་གཉིས་ཕྲད་ནས་འཐབ་པར་ཆས་སོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱང་དེ་གཉིས་ལ་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བའི་ཕྱིར་མདུན་ལོགས་སུ་གཞེས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཐག་རིང་པོ་ཞིག་ནས། སེང་གེ་དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མཐོང་ངོ་། །མཐོང་ནས་ཀྱང་སེང་གེ་གཉིས་ཁྲོ་བའི་ཀུན་ནས་དསྲེས་པ་མེད་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་ནས། དེ་གཉིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞལ་དུ་བལྟ་ཞིང་འདུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེ་གཉིས་ལ་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཞིན་བཟངས་ཁྱེད་གཉིས་སྔོན་གྱི་ཉེས་པར་སྤྱོད་པའི་ལས་ཀྱིས་དུད་འགྲོའི་ནང་དུ་སྐྱེས་ན། ཁྱེད་གཉིས་ད་ལྟར་ཡང་དེ་འབའ་ཞིག་གི་རྒྱུ་བྱེད་ཅིང་འདུག་གོ །བཞིན་བཟངས་གཉིས་འདི་ལྟར་འདུ་བྱེད་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་མི་རྟག་གོ །ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་བདག་མེད་དོ། །མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པ་ནི་ཞི་བའོ། །ང་ལ་སེམས་དགའ་བར་གྱིས་ཤིག་དང་། དུད་འགྲོའི་སྐྱེ་གནས་དང་བྲལ་བར་འགྱུར་ཡང་སྲིད་དོ་ཞེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་གཤེགས་སོ། །དེ་གཉིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལས་ཆོས་ཐོས་ནས་ཁ་འཚོས་སོ། །དུད་འགྲོའི་སྐྱེ་གནས་སུ་སྐྱེས་པ་རྣམས་ནི་མེའི་དྲོད་ཆེ་སྟེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་སེམས་དགའ་བ་བསྐྱེད་བཞིན་དུ་ཤི་ནས་ལྷའི་ནང་དུ་སྐྱེས་སོ། །ལྷའི་བུའམ་ལྷའི་བུ་མོ་སྐྱེས་མ་ཐག་པ་ནི། ཆོས་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་སེམས་རྣམ་པ་གསུམ་སྐྱེ་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། བདག་གང་ནས་ཤི་འཕོས་གང་དུ་སྐྱེ། ལས་གང་གིས་སྐྱེས་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་དུད་འགྲོ་ལས་ཤི་འཕོས་པ་དང་། ལྷའི་ནང་དུ་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་སེམས་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་པ་དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་མཐོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ བསམ་པ། བདག་ཅག་གཉིས་ཞག་ལོན་ནས། གཟོད་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་བལྟ་བའི་ཕྱིར་འགྲོ་བ་ནི། བདག་ཅག་གཉིས་ཀྱི་ཆ་མ་ཡིན་གྱི། བདག་ཅག་གཉིས་ཞག་མ་ལོན་པར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་བལྟ་བའི་ཕྱིར་འགྲོའོ་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་སྔོན་སེང་གེར་གྱུར་པའི་ལྷའི་བུ་རྣ་ཆ་གདུབ་ཀོར་དག་ཅིང་མགུལ་རྒྱན་ཐོགས་པ། ལུས་དོ་ཤལ་དང་། སེ་མོ་དོས་བརྒྱན་པ། ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་སྤྲས་པའི་ཅོད་པན་ཅན་ལུས་གུར་གུམ་དང་། ཏ་མ་ལའི་ལོ་མ་དང་། སྤྲོ་ཀ་ལ་སོགས་པ

比丘的僧团在前面引导，前往王舍城（Rajgir），逐渐行走，到达狮子林的山洞。那两只狮子出去觅食了，它们两个相遇后，开始争斗。世尊也因为怜悯它们两个，所以在前面等候。然后从很远的地方，那两只狮子看见了世尊。看见后，两只狮子没有掺杂愤怒，对世尊非常欢喜，它们两个走到世尊所在的地方，用头顶礼世尊的脚，看着世尊的脸。然后世尊对它们两个说：‘善相，你们两个因为过去恶行的业力而生于畜生道中，你们两个现在仍然在造作那些业因啊。善相，这样，一切有为法都是无常的，一切法都是无我的，涅槃是寂静的。’对我说欢喜吧，或许能脱离畜生道。说完，世尊就离开了。它们两个听了世尊的教法后，心满意足了。生于畜生道中的众生，火的热量很大，它们在对世尊生起欢喜心的同时死去，转生到天界。天子或天女刚出生时，自然会生起三种念头：我从哪里死后转生到这里？因何业而生？然后，它们看见了从畜生道死去转生，以及对世尊生起欢喜心的那两个众生。然后它们两个心想：我们两个迟到了，现在才去拜见世尊，这不是我们两个的本分，我们两个应该立刻去拜见世尊。’然后，先前是狮子的天子，带着耳环和项链，身体装饰着璎珞和丝带，戴着各种珍宝装饰的头冠，身体涂着藏红花和多摩罗叶等。

The Sangha of monks, led in front, set out for Rajgir, gradually walking and arriving at the lion's cave. The two lions had gone out to forage for food, and when they met, they began to fight. The Blessed One, also out of compassion for them, waited in front. Then, from a distance, the two lions saw the Blessed One. Upon seeing him, the two lions, without any mixture of anger, became very joyful towards the Blessed One. They went to where the Blessed One was, prostrated their heads at the feet of the Blessed One, and sat looking at the face of the Blessed One. Then the Blessed One said to them, 'Good-looking ones, you two were born into the animal realm because of the karma of past misdeeds, and you two are still creating those causes now. Good-looking ones, thus, all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, all dharmas are without self, and Nirvana is peace.' Be happy with me, and you may be freed from the animal realm. Having said this, the Blessed One departed. The two of them, having heard the Dharma from the Blessed One, were satisfied. Those born in the animal realm have great heat, and as they generated joy towards the Blessed One, they died and were born in the heavens. As soon as a son or daughter of the gods is born, three thoughts naturally arise: 'From where did I die and transmigrate here? By what karma was I born?' Then, they saw the two beings who had died and transmigrated from the animal realm and had generated joy towards the Blessed One. Then the two of them thought, 'We are late, and now we are going to see the Blessed One, this is not our duty, we should go to see the Blessed One immediately.' Then, the son of the gods who was formerly a lion, adorned with earrings and necklaces, his body adorned with garlands and ribbons, wearing a crown adorned with various precious jewels, his body smeared with saffron and Tamala leaves, and so on.
