Completely possessing vast and extensive wealth, equal to the son of Vaishravana, competing with the son of Vaishravana, having a loving nature, endowed with compassion, being amiable to sentient beings, cherishing all sentient beings. There lived a person named Gangpo, who gave and collected for those living at home, those who had renounced, and all beggars. He also regularly established places for offerings and made offerings. Then, when a time for offerings arrived, he contemplated the essence of all the scriptures, thinking, 'What are the views of each?' He kept those teachings in mind, and contemplated, measured, and thoroughly understood them. Then, one day, that Brahmin began to perform a sacrifice, and all the teachers gathered at that sacrifice. That Brahmin also kept in mind the teachings of all the teachers and engaged in contemplation, but his mind was not satisfied with those forms of views. Then, one day, the lay practitioners residing in Rajagriha praised the Buddha in front of that Brahmin. Immediately upon hearing that, that Brahmin became eager to see the Bhagavan. Then, one day, the thought arose in him: 'Thousands of ascetics and Brahmins come to the sacrifice and enjoy the offerings, but the Bhagavan Gautama does not come. Alas, how wonderful it would be if he also came to my sacrifice and enjoyed the offerings!' Then, the Bhagavan, knowing the Brahmin's thoughts with his wisdom, thought: 'That Brahmin will generate the mind of non-retrogression from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and relying solely on that, I will benefit many beings.' Then, accompanied by many monks, with the Sangha of monks leading the way, out of compassion for that Brahmin, he went to the city of Rivraka. Having arrived there, the Bhagavan thought: 'How can I alone be seen by the master of the offering and many other people at the place of offering, while the Sangha of monks is not seen by anyone?'

Thinking, "Let me bless in this way." Having blessed in that way, he went to the place of offering. Then, that Brahmin saw the Blessed One from afar. Having seen him, he said to the Blessed One, "Blessed One, it is good that you have come! Blessed One, please come here. Blessed One, please partake of the offerings at my place of offering." The Blessed One said, "Kangpo, I will not partake until you have filled this alms bowl of mine with food and drink." The Brahmin said, "Blessed One Gautama, I will do as you wish." Having said this, that Brahmin took the many clean and excellent foods and drinks prepared at the place of offering and tried to fill the Blessed One's alms bowl. Unable to fill it, he became arrogant, thinking, "I will not let this alms bowl go unfilled." So, together with his servants, he diligently tried to fill the Blessed One's alms bowl with food and drink. Then, the Blessed One thought, "Now, this food is enough for a thousand monks." So, he showed that the alms bowl was full. Then, that Brahmin, seeing that the Blessed One's alms bowl was full, became very happy. He said, "The Blessed One's alms bowl is full. Blessed One Gautama, please partake as you please." Then, out of compassion for that Brahmin, he manifested a thousand seats for monks at that very place of offering, filled the water pots, and the Blessed One sat at the head of the row. The other monks were also arranged in order of seniority. Then, the assembly of monks sat comfortably, and the servers served them. Then, that Brahmin also saw all of this, and as soon as he saw it, he became very happy with the Blessed One. He thought, "This Shramana Gautama is very powerful and has great power!"
