世界没有出现， 前往寂灭之境的， 正法的船只在今日。 军队装饰等孩童们， 因无心而无法杀死， 只剩下一点残余。 非正法将会显现， 魔众宣扬胜利的音声， 魔的眷属们传布着。 狮子的吼声所宣扬的， 身躯高大的山峰就在那里。 如今帝释天与眷属们， 被悲伤的箭所击中。 梵天等世界在今日， 无怙主，希望也断绝了。 与眷属一起的魔没有敌手， 充满骄慢且强大。 解脱之道被遮蔽， 最终示现寂灭时， 能仁的菩提之方， 解脱的道路无法斩断。 憍陈如等无论在何处， 沐浴完毕，达到彼岸，没有瘟疫， 菩提支分的花朵盛开， 正法的海洋如今干涸。 教法的僧团去了哪里？ 这些持教者去了哪里？ 世间变得没有乐趣， 看到这些，如今感到沮丧。 佛陀之子，行为贤善， 从法王的教言中诞生， 持有剃刀，断除烦恼， 雄辩的狮子们去了哪里？ 世间之中，怙主之子， 持有佛陀命脉的人们， 舍弃了垃圾堆、山谷和， 森林，去了哪里？ 那是因为他舍弃了， 如同月亮被罗睺吞噬一般， 寺庙也变得不美丽， 完全失去了美观。 具备智慧和戒律，调伏， 以信仰的珍宝所庄严， 具有忍耐和慈悲， 能辨别善与非善的， 具有高尚智慧的人们， 寺院和花园， 佛塔等，这片土地， 庄严的士夫们已经不在。 看到世间没有引导者， 极度痛苦，心怀悲悯， 天人们以及其他， 发出哀嚎，四处奔走。 之后，住在 कौशाम्बी (Kauśāmbī，乔赏弥)的五百居士听到后，从寺庙出来，举起双手，捶胸顿足，哭喊道：唉！世尊用无数劫所建立的教法，如今被愚昧所摧毁了！他们这样说着。 又说：可怕啊！

The world did not arise, To the state of Nirvana going, The Dharma's ship is today. Arm ornaments and other children, Cannot be killed because they are heartless, Only a trace of residue remains. Non-dharma will appear, The demons proclaim the sound of victory, The demons' retinues spread it. The lion's roar that is proclaimed, The body, the lofty mountain itself. Now Indra with his retinue, Is struck by the arrow of sorrow. The world with Brahma today, Is without a protector, and hope is cut off. The demon with his retinue has no enemy, Is filled with pride and becomes strong. The path of liberation is obscured, When finally showing Nirvana, The Buddha's direction of Bodhi, The paths of liberation cannot be cut off. Wherever Kaundinya and others, Have bathed, reached the other shore, and are without epidemics, The flowers of the limbs of Bodhi bloom, The ocean of Dharma is now dried up. Where has the Sangha of the teachings gone? Where have these holders of the teachings gone? The world has become without joy, Seeing this, I am now disheartened. The Buddha's son, with good conduct, Born from the words of the Dharma King, Holding the razor, abandoning afflictions, Where have the eloquent lions gone? In the world, the sons of the Protector, Those who hold the lifeline of the Buddha, Having abandoned the garbage heaps, valleys, and, The forests, where have they gone? That is because he has abandoned it, Like the moon being swallowed by Rahu, The monasteries have also become unsightly, Completely losing their beauty. Endowed with knowledge, discipline, and tamed, Adorned with the jewels of faith, Having patience and compassion, Able to distinguish between good and non-good, Those with noble wisdom, The temples and gardens, The stupas and so on, this earth, Those men who adorned it are no longer there. Seeing that the world has no guide, Extremely painful, with compassion in their hearts, The gods and others, Uttering lamentations, wander about. Then, five hundred lay devotees living in कौशाम्बी (Kauśāmbī, 乔赏弥) heard this, came out of the temple, raised their hands, beat their chests and cried out: Alas! The teachings established by the Blessed One over countless eons have now been destroyed by ignorance! They said this. Again they said: How terrible!

于衰败之世间，于远离善说之人众，谁将演说神圣之法？谁将趋入寂灭？光明隐没，为黑暗所蔽，全然愚昧，四处游荡。因无能仁之圣典，善行悉皆弃舍，如野兽般毫无厌倦，恒常与罪恶之法相应。其后，憍赏弥国的国王听闻阿罗汉提婆与三藏法师及其弟子被杀害，怒火中烧，威吓震怒，心怀不满，便会损毁佛教，摧毁僧团的寺庙，毁坏佛塔，杀害僧侣。诸位有权势者，在未来时代，凡是佛教遭受巨大损害的地方，你们务必团结一致，守护佛教。之后，他们应允道：“定当如此。” 于是，大国王持国禀告道：“尊者，我将从东方守护佛教。” 圣生禀告道：“尊者，我将从南方守护佛教。” 广目禀告道：“尊者，我将从西方守护佛教。” 多闻天子禀告道：“尊者，我将从北方守护佛教。” 天帝释禀告道：“尊者，我将从一切处守护佛教。” 如是禀告后，天帝释与四大天王对世尊所说之语深感赞叹，心生欢喜，以头顶礼世尊之足，随即隐没不见。当时，世尊将佛法托付给具寿大迦叶和阿难陀之时，众比丘向佛陀禀告道：“世尊，您将佛法托付给比丘迦叶，将博闻之库托付给阿难陀，是预见到世尊圆寂之后，此二人将弘扬佛法。” 世尊开示道：“不仅是现在，过去世时，我也曾将四部军队和国土托付给比丘迦叶，以及昆…

The light is obscured, covered by darkness, completely ignorant, wandering everywhere. Because there are no scriptures of the Able One, virtuous deeds are completely abandoned, like wild animals without weariness, constantly associated with sinful Dharma. Then, the king of Kausambi, hearing that the Arhat Deva and the Tripitaka master and his disciples had been killed, became angry, threatening and enraged, dissatisfied, and would harm Buddhism, destroy the monasteries of the Sangha, destroy stupas, and kill monks. O powerful ones, in the future, wherever Buddhism suffers great harm, you must unite and protect Buddhism. Then, they replied, "We will certainly do so." Then, the great king Dhritarashtra reported, "Venerable, I will protect Buddhism from the east." Aryadeva reported, "Venerable, I will protect Buddhism from the south."
