O nobles, at that time in the place called "Son of Red Earth," there will arise a Brahmin named Fire Offering, who will be thoroughly versed in the Vedas and the branches of the Vedas. He will take a wife through appropriate means and enjoy playing and delight. Another being will also enter his wife's womb. Then, that Brahmin woman will develop a desire in her mind, thinking: What could be wrong with speaking along with scriptural debates? Then, that Brahmin will show her to the diviners. The diviners will say: The being in the womb will understand all the treatises and will end all scriptural debates. Therefore, the Brahmin woman's mind will develop such a desire: What could be wrong with speaking along with scriptural debates? Then, when she is nine or ten months pregnant, she will give birth to a son who is handsome, beautiful, and pleasing to behold. When he grows up, he will become thoroughly versed in all the treatises and will end all scriptural debates. He will be the teacher of five hundred Brahmins who study Brahmin mantras. Because he has many students, his name will be called "Possessor of Students." Then, he will request his parents, saying: I will renounce and be ordained in the teachings, become proficient in the three baskets, become a speaker of the Dharma with wisdom and confidence in liberation, and many followers will gather. O nobles, at that very time, in the place called "Son of Red Earth," there will arise a merchant named Wealthy and Wise. He will take a wife through appropriate means and enjoy playing and delight. A final sentient being will also enter his wife's womb, and that woman will become patient, reduce quarrels, and become peaceful. Then, the merchant Wealthy and Wise will show her to the diviners.
