The monk who was the attendant at that time was none other than this Prince Delightful. There, he served according to the Dharma, cultivated the concentration of loving-kindness, practiced celibacy for one lifetime, and at the time of death, he made the aspiration: 'May I please that Bhagavan, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Light-Protector, who prophesied to the Brahmin boy, and may I not displease him. May I renounce in that very doctrine, abandon all defilements, and may I realize the state of an Arhat.' Monks, I have attained perfect enlightenment, being very similar to the Buddha Light-Protector, similar in strength, similar in deeds, and similar in means. This one has pleased me and has not displeased me. Having renounced in my own doctrine, he has abandoned all defilements and realized the state of an Arhat. Because he served according to the Dharma there, he was born into a wealthy, rich, and prosperous family. Because he cultivated the concentration of loving-kindness, he became handsome, pleasing to behold, and beautiful. The one called the Candala's son: The Bhagavan was dwelling in a city called Urdhvavijaya, in the Sala grove north of the city. Those seeds sprouted before long, and after growing up, they soon became a large garden, and the branches flourished. Later, those trees blossomed and bore fruit. In order to prevent others from eating these mangoes, King Rab Snang appointed the Chandalas to guard those mangoes. Later, those Chandalas themselves ate those mangoes and then declared that thieves had come, saying: These were eaten by thieves. Then, the tyrant King Rab Snang was provoked and thought: Could it be that these Chandalas themselves ate these mangoes? So, he sent the king's attendants and had them search the Chandalas' house. They went there and saw those mango pits. Then, the king's attendants reported to the tyrant King Rab Snang. Then, the tyrant Rab Snang became angry, locked the Chandalas and their families in the house, piled grass around the house, and set it on fire. In that village, a Chandala boy, ashamed of his Chandala status, went south. After going there, he entered the ranks of the Brahmins and learned the art of invisibility. After learning that art, he returned to the city to take revenge. He returned to his home and saw that the entire village had been burned down. He immediately asked: Who made this village like this? He struck the king on the head with a whip, saying, "Evil king, what harm have those outcastes done to you?" The tyrannical king Rabnang said, "They have destroyed my mango trees." The outcaste child said, "Even if the men have committed a crime, what crime have the women, children, and girls committed? Now, you lecherous king, do what you have to do and do what is meaningful! Your time to live is running out, and you must die in seven days!" Having said this, the outcaste child went to the royal palace every day to beat the king, and also said, "On such and such a day, you will be finished!" Then, the tyrannical king Rabnang became frightened and afraid. The ministers pleaded, "Please be patient! We will pray to the venerable Katyayana." Having said this, the ministers went to the venerable Katyayana and said, "Venerable one, if non-humans are harming the king, please protect him." As soon as he heard this, the venerable Katyayana made it impossible for that outcaste child's mantra to make himself invisible from then on. Then he thought, "Who has invalidated my mantra?" So he asked those ministers, "Who has delivered the king from the fear of non-humans?" The ministers replied, "The venerable Katyayana has done so." As soon as he heard this, the outcaste child went to where the venerable Katyayana was and said, "Venerable one, why have you made my mantra ineffective?" Katyayana said, "Child, sit down and I will explain it to you in detail." Then the outcaste child prostrated himself at the feet of the venerable Katyayana and sat down in front of him. Then, the venerable Katyayana gradually taught him the Dharma that was in accordance with him. Therefore, that outcaste child, while sitting on that seat, destroyed the twenty high peaks of the mountain of the view of the aggregates with the wisdom vajra and became a stream-enterer.
