Even one in a hundred parts of form and consciousness could not compare, even one in a thousand parts could not compare, even one in a hundred thousand parts could not compare. Having heard that, the Brahmin boy wanted to see the Bhagavan. Then one day, he went to where the Bhagavan was. From afar, the Brahmin boy saw the Buddha Bhagavan's body, well adorned and decorated with the thirty-two marks of a great man, like a form of fire, like a flame fed with ghee, like a candle placed in a golden vessel, like a stupa adorned with various precious jewels. He saw the Buddha Bhagavan, who was intelligent, immaculate, and pure. Having seen him, he felt great joy. Just like the joy a sentient being experiences when first seeing the Buddha, which arises from the cause of accumulating virtuous roots, even after twelve years of being accustomed to the mind of tranquility, such joy would not arise. Having seen him in that way, he was without pride in his appearance. He thought, "This one is most excellent in appearance, but in wisdom, he is not equal to me." However, for a moment, I will test whether this one is all-knowing and all-seeing. Thinking this, he stirred up questions in his mind and went to where the Bhagavan was. Having gone there, he spoke various words of joy and satisfaction to the Bhagavan face to face, and then sat to one side. Then, the Bhagavan knew his mind with his wisdom and predicted the questions that had arisen in his mind. Then, the Brahmin boy became very happy with the Bhagavan, thinking, "This one is definitely all-knowing and all-seeing." Then he rose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, and bowed with folded hands in the direction of the Bhagavan, saying to the Bhagavan, "Bhagavan, would you please accept my invitation to have a meal at my house for seven days together with the Sangha of monks?" Then, the Bhagavan did not say anything to the Brahmin boy, but gave his consent. Then, because the Bhagavan did not speak,

Having recognized this, he bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One and departed from the presence of the Blessed One. Then, he invited the Buddha and the Sangha of monks to his house for seven days. On the final day, he satisfied the Buddha and the Sangha of monks with food of a hundred flavors and offered the Blessed One a robe worth a million. To the other monks, he offered a pair of cloths each, and then sat before the Blessed One to listen to the Dharma. Then, the Blessed One understood the thoughts, predispositions, faculties, wisdom, and nature of that Brahmin boy and taught him the Dharma that was in accordance with him. Therefore, that Brahmin boy, together with his retinue, while seated on those seats, destroyed the twenty high peaks of the view of the aggregates with the vajra of wisdom and realized the fruit of stream-entry. Having seen the truth, he asked his parents, bared one shoulder, and bowed with folded hands towards where the Blessed One was, and said to the Blessed One: 'Venerable One, if I am able to go forth and be fully ordained in the well-spoken Dharma and Discipline, and obtain the state of a monk, then I would also like to practice the pure conduct in the presence of the Blessed One.' Then, the Blessed One ordained him with the words, 'Come, monk,' and bestowed upon him the full ordination, and also gave him instructions. He also, through diligence, practice, and effort, abandoned all defilements and realized the state of an Arhat. That Arhat, having become free from desire for the three realms, became equal towards gold and dung, possessed a mind like the sky and the palm of the hand, became cool like sandalwood soaked in water, destroyed the shell of the egg with wisdom, obtained wisdom, supernormal powers, and discriminating awareness, and did not look to the gains, attachments, and honors of existence. He became a place to be worshiped, remembered, and respectfully praised by the gods, including the powerful ones and their attendants. Then, the monks asked the Buddha, the Blessed One: 'Venerable One, what deeds did this Brahmin boy commit, that as a result of the maturation of that deed, he became rich, wealthy, and enjoyed great abundance?'
