I went to the place of death, and from there I went to a forest. In that forest, there were five hundred ascetics living, and they saw the Perfectly Complete Buddha Light Treasury from afar. Having seen him, they became very happy. After they were happy, they invited the Perfectly Complete Buddha Light Treasury and his retinue to the place of asceticism, and offered roots and fruits. After offering in this way, they sat before him to listen to the Dharma. Then, the Perfectly Complete Buddha Light Treasury, understanding their thoughts, habits, faculties, knowledge, and nature, taught them the Dharma that suited them. Then, among the five hundred ascetics, all but one realized the truth in an instant, and directly realized the fruit of non-return. After they saw the truth, they rose from their seats, bared one shoulder, and bowed with their palms together in the direction of the Perfectly Complete Buddha Light Treasury, and said: 'Venerable one, if we can be ordained and receive full ordination in the well-spoken Dharma and discipline, and obtain the status of a monk, then we also wish to practice the pure conduct in the presence of the Blessed One.' Then, the Perfectly Complete Buddha Light Treasury entrusted the five hundred ascetics to the monks. The monks shaved the heads of the five hundred ascetics and gave them full ordination, and also performed the karma for them. They also abandoned all defilements through diligence, practice, and effort, and directly realized the state of an Arhat. However, one ascetic did not gain even a trace of the merit of warmth there. Therefore, the Perfectly Complete Buddha Light Treasury showed that the Khenpo who ordained him was the best of those with faith and devotion. Then, having practiced pure conduct for one lifetime, at the time of death he made the aspiration: 'Thus, in the teachings of the Perfectly Complete Buddha Light Treasury, I practiced pure conduct for one lifetime, but did not obtain any accumulation of merit, may the Brahmin boy Lama prophesied by the Perfectly Complete Buddha Light Treasury'

May I please that Bhagavan Buddha, whoever he may be! May I not displease him! Having renounced in that very one's doctrine, abandoning all defilements, may I realize the state of an Arhat. Just as the perfectly complete Buddha Kashyapa showed my preceptor as the foremost among those with faith and devotion, may I, Shakyamuni, the best of the Shakya kings, also be shown as the foremost among those with faith and devotion. Thus he did. Monks, what do you think? The one who became a hermit at that time, who renounced in the teachings of the perfectly complete Buddha Kashyapa, was none other than this Gelpo. He practiced celibacy there for one lifetime, and at the time of death, he made a prayer: May I please that Bhagavan Buddha, whoever he may be, whom the perfectly complete Buddha Kashyapa prophesied as the foremost of the Brahmin boys! May I not displease him! Having renounced in that very one's doctrine, abandoning all defilements, may I realize the state of an Arhat! May that Bhagavan Buddha also show me as the foremost among those with faith and devotion. Therefore, monks, I have attained the same as the perfectly complete Buddha Kashyapa, the same power, the same deeds, and the same skillful means. This one has pleased me and has not displeased me. Having renounced in my own doctrine, abandoning all defilements, and realizing the state of an Arhat, I have shown this one as the foremost among those with faith and devotion. The Hundred Deeds, the Twentieth Chapter, called "The Black One." The basis of the story is in Rajagriha. At that time, there was a Brahmin named Bhuta in Rajagriha. Later, his wife became pregnant, and after nine or ten months, she gave birth to a boy who was handsome, pleasing to look at, and beautiful, but his complexion was black. Then, they held a grand birth celebration, and they discussed what name to give this boy. Because this boy was black in color, they named him only Black One (Nagpo).

So," they said. Then, the dark-skinned boy was raised and nurtured with milk, yogurt, butter, clarified butter, and the essence of butter, growing rapidly like a lotus in a lake. Then, when he grew up, he learned writing, the conduct of Brahmins, behavior, and "Om" (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:Om) and "Bho" (藏文:བྷོ་,梵文天城体:भो,梵文罗马拟音:bho,汉语字面意思:Bho), cleanliness, rituals, taking ashes, holding pills, the explanation of the Vedas, the sacrifice of the Vedas, the poetry of the Vedas, the governance of the Vedas, the act of sacrifice, causing others to perform sacrifices, giving, receiving, reciting, and the methods of teaching others to recite, becoming a Brahmin skilled in six kinds of work, and eventually mastering eighteen fields of knowledge. His father taught the Brahmin mantras to about five hundred Brahmin children. Then, one day, he grew old and thought: Now that I am old, I can no longer teach these five hundred Brahmin children mantras. I should make this child the teacher of the class. So he advised his son: Dark-skinned son, I am now old and can no longer teach these five hundred Brahmin children mantras. You are also proficient in mantras, so you should be the mantra teacher of these Brahmin children. The son said: As the teacher commands, so I shall do. Having said that, he began to teach the five hundred Brahmin children mantras. At that time, in Rajagriha, another Brahmin performed a sacrifice and offered many gifts to the Brahmins. At the place where the sacrifice was being performed, some Brahmins said: We have the power of offering, you have no power. Those living in the village said: We are pure, you are servants who serve the king, so we have the power of these offerings, you have no power. Then, the dark-skinned Brahmin thought: A great quarrel will arise among these Brahmins, and others will not be able to calm it down. I must mediate it myself. Thinking this, he began to refute those Brahmins, but he could not calm the quarrel, and the quarrel only intensified.
