པ་དང་ལྡན་སུ་ནི་ངན་སོང་དུ་གཞོལ་སུ་ནི་ངན་སོང་དུ་འབབ། སུ་ནི་ངན་སོང་དུ་བབ་སུ་ནི་ངན་སོང་ནས་ཕྱུང་སྟེ་མཐོ་རིས་དང་ཐར་པ་དང་འབྲས་བུ་ལ་གཞག་པར་བྱ། སུ་ནི་ཉེས་པར་སྤྱོད་པའི་འདམ་དུ་བྱིང་བ་ལས་ལག་ནས་དྲང་བར་བྱ་སུ་ནི་འཕགས་པའི་ནོར་བདུན་མེད་པ་ལས་འཕགས་པའི་ནོར་བདུན་གྱི་དབང་ཕྱུག་ལ་དབང་བྱེད་དུ་གཞུག་པར་བྱ། སུ་ནི་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་རྣམས་མ་བསྐྱེད་པ་ལས་བསྐྱེད་པར་བྱ། སུ་ནི་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་རྣམས་བསྐྱེད་ཟིན་པ་ལས་ཡོངས་སུ་སྨིན་པར་བྱ། སུ་ནི་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་རྣམས་ཡོངས་སུ་སྨིན་ཟིན་པ་ལས་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་མཚོན་གྱིས་བརྟོལ་བར་བྱ། སུ་ལ་ནི་སངས་རྒྱས་བྱུང་བས་བརྒྱན་པའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་འབྲས་བུ་དང་བཅས་པར་བྱ་སྙམ་དུ་ཡེ་ཤེས་གཟིགས་པ་འཇུག་གོ །རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆུ་སྲིན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་གནས། །དུས་རླབས་ཡོལ་བར་འགྱུར་ཡང་སྲིད། །གདུལ་བར་བྱ་བའི་ སྲས་རྣམས་ལ། །སངས་རྒྱས་དུས་ལས་ཡོལ་བ་མེད། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དྲང་སྲོང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་དེ་དག་གདུལ་བའི་དུས་ལ་བབ་བོ་སྙམ་དུ་དགོངས་ནས་མཉན་དུ་ཡོད་པ་ནས་མི་སྣང་བར་གྱུར་ཏེ། ནགས་ཁྲོད་དེར་གཤེགས་པ་དང་། དྲང་སྲོང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་དེ་དག་གིས་ཐག་རིང་པོ་ཞིག་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མཐོང་ངོ་། །མཐོང་ནས་ཀྱང་གཅིག་ལ་གཅིག་སྨྲས་པ། ཀྱེ་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གཽ་ཏ་མ་གཡེལ་བ་མང་དུ་ལེན་ཅིང་འཚོ་བ་སྤོང་བ་བཏང་བ་དེ་འདིར་འོངས་ཀྱིས། དེ་འོངས་ཀྱང་བདག་ཅག་གིས་ལག་བརྡས་སྤྱིལ་པོ་བསྟན་པ་མ་གཏོགས་པར་དེ་ལ་སྨྲ་བར་མི་བྱ་ཀུན་དུ་སྨྲ་བར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས། དྲང་སྲོང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་ཅང་མི་ཟེར་བར་འཁོད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་གདུལ་བར་བྱ་བའི་དབང་གིས་དེ་དག་གི་ཐད་དུ་གཤེགས་ཏེ། ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་བཀའ་སྩལ་ན། དེ་དག་གིས་ལག་བརྡས་སྤྱིལ་པོ་བསྟན་པ་མ་གཏོགས་པར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ལན་མ་གསོལ་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་སྤྱིལ་པོ་དེའི་ནང་དུ་གཤེགས་ཏེ། རྩྭ་སྟན་བཤམས་པ་ལ་བཞུགས་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དྲང་སྲོང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་དེ་དག་དྲང་བའི་ཕྱིར་བཀོད་མའི་ཆུ་འཁྱིལ་བའི་མཚེའུ་དེ་སྐམས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་དྲང་སྲོང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་དེ་དག་གིས་མཚེའུ་དེ་ན་ཆུ་མེད་པར་མཐོང་ངོ་། །མཐོང་ནས་ཀྱང་དེ་དག་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཆེན་པོ་སྐྱེས་ཏེ་ལྷ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་ཤིང་འདུག་གོ །འོན་ཀྱང་དེ་དག་གི་མཚེའུ་དེར་ཆུ་མ་བྱུང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་དེ་དག་དད་པ་བསྐྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར་ལྷས་དྲང་སྲོང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་དེ་

Who has the ability to lead those who are inclined to evil destinies, who can cause them to fall into evil destinies? Who, having fallen into evil destinies, can be rescued from them and placed in the heavens, liberation, and fruition? Who can be pulled from the mire of sinful conduct? Who can empower those who lack the seven noble riches to possess the dominion of the seven noble riches? Who can cause those who have not yet generated roots of virtue to generate them? Who can cause those who have already generated roots of virtue to fully ripen? Who can cause those roots of virtue that have already fully ripened to be pierced by the sword of wisdom? For whom will there be a world adorned by the appearance of the Buddha, complete with fruit? Thus, the eye of wisdom will operate. The ocean is the abode of aquatic creatures, and the waves of time may cease. But for those sons who are to be tamed, the time of the Buddha's teachings never passes. Then, the Blessed One thought, 'The time has come to tame those five hundred hermits,' and he disappeared from Shravasti and went to that forest. Those five hundred hermits saw the Buddha, the Blessed One, from afar. Having seen him, they said to each other, 'Alas, that Gautama the ascetic is coming, he who indulges in negligence and has abandoned asceticism.' Even if he comes, we should not speak to him, nor converse with him, except to point to the hut with gestures.' Having said this, the five hundred hermits sat in silence. Then, the Blessed One, by the power of taming beings, came before them and spoke to all. But they did not answer the Blessed One, except to point to the hut with gestures. Then, the Blessed One entered that hut and sat on the prepared grass mat. To guide those five hundred hermits, the Blessed One blessed the artificial pool of water to dry up. Then, those five hundred hermits saw that there was no water in the pool. Having seen this, they were greatly distressed and prayed to the gods. However, there was still no water in their pool.
