一位居士说道：婚事有两种，即已出生的婚事和尚未出生的婚事。我们两个没有儿子也没有女儿，但可以做尚未出生的婚事，如果我生了儿子而你生了女儿，就把她给我儿子。如果你的儿子出生而我生了女儿，我就把她给你儿子，这样两人就做了尚未出生的婚事而走了。之后，有一天，其中一人的妻子怀孕了，九个月或十个月后生了个儿子，生了个相貌英俊、赏心悦目、美丽的男孩。他们为他举行了盛大的诞生仪式，并按照家族传统给他取了名字，用牛奶、酸奶、酥油、炼乳和酥油的精华来养育他。之后，有一天，另一位居士也和妻子嬉戏玩乐，沉浸在欢乐之中，妻子怀孕了。九个月或十个月后，生了一个相貌端庄、赏心悦目、美丽的女儿。他们为她举行了盛大的诞生仪式，并按照家族传统给她取了名字，用牛奶、酸奶、酥油、炼乳和酥油的精华来养育她。当她长大后，她对世尊的教法产生了信仰，并皈依了三宝，受持了戒律。之后，有一天，她对父母说：父亲母亲，我无法享受欲望，请允许我出家受持世尊的教法。父母说：女儿，在你出生之前，我们已经把你许配给人家了，我们不能允许你出家。女儿多次恳求父母，父母心想：如果这个女儿不听我们的话，可能会出家，不如我们去和亲家商量。于是，他们对她的父母说：这个女儿想出家，如果我们没见到她出嫁就出家了，那就不好了，不如尽快举行婚礼，把她带到你们家去。

A householder said: There are two kinds of marriage, namely, marriage of those already born and marriage of those not yet born. We two have neither a son nor a daughter, but we can arrange a marriage for those not yet born. If I have a son and you have a daughter, then give her to my son. If you have a son and I have a daughter, then I will give her to your son. Thus, the two made a marriage agreement for those not yet born and departed. Later, one of their wives became pregnant. After nine or ten months, she gave birth to a son, a handsome, pleasing, and beautiful boy. They held a grand birth celebration for him, named him according to family tradition, and raised him with milk, yogurt, butter, clarified butter, and the essence of butter. Later, another householder also played and rejoiced with his wife, and she became pregnant. After nine or ten months, she gave birth to a daughter, a beautiful, pleasing, and lovely girl. They held a grand birth celebration for her, named her according to family tradition, and raised her with milk, yogurt, butter, clarified butter, and the essence of butter. When she grew up, she developed faith in the teachings of the Blessed One, took refuge in the Three Jewels, and took the precepts. Later, one day, she said to her parents: Father and Mother, I cannot find satisfaction in enjoying desires. Please allow me to renounce and uphold the teachings of the Blessed One. The parents said: Daughter, before you were born, we had already promised you in marriage, so we cannot allow you to renounce. The daughter repeatedly pleaded with her parents. Her parents thought: If this daughter does not listen to us, she might renounce. We should consult with the in-laws. So, they said to her parents: This daughter wants to renounce, and if she renounces without us seeing her married, that would be bad. It would be better to hold the wedding as soon as possible and take her to your home.

做完这些后，那位家主一听到这件事，就让那个孩子做了自己的女婿。那个孩子用各种装饰品打扮起来，因为他非常富有，所以就被送到了岳父家。然后，那位家主也按照居家之人的习俗，把女儿嫁了出去。之后，迎娶新娘完毕后，那个女儿就逃走了，去了比丘尼的寺庙，出家并受了具足戒。堪姆（女戒师）也给她传授了教法，她通过精进、修行和努力，舍弃了一切烦恼，证得了阿罗汉果位，并且还修成了神通。她成为了受到包括天神和近侍在内的世人供养、敬佩和尊敬的对象。那个孩子也听说了妻子逃跑的消息，一听到消息，就带着许多仆从出发寻找。他到了比丘尼的寺庙，那个孩子看到自己的妻子剃了头发，穿着彩色的法衣，结跏趺坐，正在禅修。他一看到她，就立刻走到她面前，当她抓住他的手时，她升到空中，展现了燃烧、闪耀、降雨和闪电的神变。一看到这些，那个孩子和许多人都非常高兴。高兴之后，他们顶礼她的双足，说道：‘伟大的有缘人，请降临，请降临。我们沉溺于罪恶的泥潭中，请您伸出援手。’之后，她降落到地上，那个孩子顶礼她的双足，请求宽恕，并且献上了所有的财物，为了听法而坐在她的面前。她也了解了他们的想法、习气、根器、意识和本性，然后为他们宣说了与他们相应的佛法。之后，那个孩子和许多人坐在各自的座位上，用智慧金刚摧毁了二十座高耸的萨迦耶见山峰，证得了入流果。在见到真谛后，那个孩子心想：‘女人也能在世尊的教法中出家，获得如此功德，我也应该放弃在家生活。’

Having done this, as soon as that householder heard about it, he made that boy his son-in-law. That boy was adorned with all kinds of ornaments, and because he was very wealthy, he was sent to his father-in-law's house. Then, that householder also followed the customs of householders and gave his daughter in marriage. After the wedding ceremony was completed, that daughter ran away and went to a nunnery, where she became a nun and received full ordination. The abbess also gave her teachings, and through diligence, practice, and effort, she abandoned all defilements. She realized the state of an Arhat and also attained miraculous powers. She became an object of worship, reverence, and respect for the world, including gods and attendants. The boy also heard that his wife had run away, and as soon as he heard the news, he set out with many servants to search for her. He arrived at the nunnery, and the boy saw his wife with her hair shaved, wearing colorful robes, sitting in the lotus position, and meditating. As soon as he saw her, he immediately went to her, and as she took his hand, she rose into the sky and displayed the miracles of burning, shining, raining, and lightning. As soon as they saw this, the boy and many people were overjoyed. Overjoyed, they prostrated at her feet and said, 'Great fortunate one, please descend, please descend. We are drowning in the swamp of wrongdoing, please extend your hand to help us.' Then, she descended to the ground, and the boy prostrated at her feet, asked for forgiveness, and offered all his possessions, sitting before her to listen to the Dharma. She also understood their thoughts, habits, faculties, consciousness, and nature, and then taught them the Dharma that was appropriate for them. Then, the boy and many people, while sitting on their respective seats, destroyed the twenty towering peaks of the mountain of the view of the aggregates with the vajra of wisdom, and realized the fruit of stream-entry. After seeing the truth, the boy thought, 'Women can also renounce in the Buddha's teachings and attain such qualities, I too should abandon the household life.'
