应该分一半布施。一半我自己吃。如果这样布施，就好；不布施，就不好。如果去乞食，就能在乞食中得到教诲。之后有一天，具寿曲尺（Sgur chung，名字）清扫了世尊的净室，因此他在那天 得到了好的食物和饮料。同样，即使在两天或三天的时间里清扫世尊的净室，在那天也能得到好的食物和饮料。他的身体变得强壮、堪能和能够舍弃。他通过精进、修行和努力，舍弃了一切烦恼，现证了阿罗汉果。他成为了一位阿罗汉，远离了三界的贪欲，拥有着黄金和粪土一样的平等心，天空和手掌一样的心境，像檀香浸泡过一样清凉，智慧破除了卵壳，获得了智慧和神通，以及各别自证智，背弃了有生的所得、贪恋和恭敬，成为了诸天及其眷属所供养、忆念、尊敬的对象。即使他获得了阿罗汉果，但由于他之前的业力显现，在那天，另一位比丘清扫了世尊的净室。之后，他拿着扫帚去了，心想我要清扫世尊的净室，但他看到另一位比丘正在清扫，他心里想，如果这样，我今天可能会挨饿。于是他早上穿好下裙和法衣，拿着钵去舍卫城乞食。但他去那里什么也没得到，那天他挨饿了。第二天，另一位比丘又清扫了世尊的净室。之后，具寿曲尺拿着扫帚去了，心想我要清扫世尊的净室，但他看到另一位比丘正在清扫，他心里想，我今天 可能会挨饿两次，于是回到了自己的住所。

Half should be given away. I will eat half myself. If it is given in this way, it is good; if it is not given, it will be bad. If one goes for alms, one will find teachings in alms. Then one day, the venerable Curvature (Sgur chung, name) cleaned the Blessed One's chamber, and so on that day he obtained good food and drink. Similarly, even if he cleans the Blessed One's chamber for two or three days, he will obtain good food and drink on that day. His body became strong, capable, and able to renounce. Through diligence, practice, and effort, he abandoned all defilements and realized Arhatship. He became an Arhat, free from desire for the three realms, possessing an equanimity like gold and dung, a mind like the sky and the palm of the hand, cool like sandalwood soaked, wisdom breaking the eggshell, obtaining wisdom and supernormal powers, and individual self-realization, turning his back on the gains, attachments, and honors of existence, becoming an object of worship, remembrance, and respect by the gods and their retinues. Even though he attained Arhatship, due to the manifestation of his previous karma, on that day, another monk cleaned the Blessed One's chamber. Then, he took the broom and went, thinking, 'I will clean the Blessed One's chamber,' but he saw another monk cleaning, and he thought, 'If so, I may go hungry today.' So in the morning, he put on his lower garment and robes, took his bowl, and went to Shravasti for alms. But he found nothing there, and he went hungry that day. The next day, another monk cleaned the Blessed One's chamber again. Then, the venerable Curvature took the broom and went, thinking, 'I will clean the Blessed One's chamber,' but he saw another monk cleaning, and he thought, 'I today may go hungry twice,' and so he returned to his dwelling.

去了房间。然后他住在那里，听到一个房主邀请世尊等比丘僧团到家里应供。他心想，我何必再去乞食呢？不如就去供养了佛陀等比丘僧团的那户人家吃点东西吧，于是进入房间，结跏趺坐，专心禅定。之后，那个房主发生了一件非常重要的事情，他很早就催促佛陀等比丘僧团前来应供。他用许多干净、美味的食物和饮料让大家吃饱喝足后离开了。世尊为那家的人们宣说佛法，然后前往精舍。之后，具寿曲脊知道时间到了中午，于是起身穿上法衣，拿着钵走了出去。世尊从另一条路前往胜军王的园林。而他从另一条路去了那个房主的家。然后他去了那里，得知佛陀等比丘僧团已经应供完毕离开了。然后他在那天中午禁食了两次。第二天，另一位比丘打扫了世尊的净室。之后，具寿曲脊拿着扫帚去了，心想我要打扫世尊的净室。他看到另一位比丘在打扫。看到后，他心想，我今天可能会禁食三次，于是回到了房间。他回到房间后，具寿阿难陀听到具寿曲脊已经禁食两次了。听到后，他为了这件事去拜托一位施主，然后来到具寿 曲脊面前说：具寿曲脊，你今天去某某房主的家吃点东西吧。说完，具寿阿难陀自己穿上法衣，拿着钵，前往舍卫城乞食。具寿曲脊也在离尽头不远的地方等待着，早上穿上法衣。

He went to the room. Then, as he was staying there, he heard that a householder had invited the Blessed One and the Sangha of monks to his house for a meal. He thought, "Why should I go begging again? I'll just go to the house where the Buddha and the Sangha of monks are being offered a meal and have some food," so he entered his room, sat in the lotus position, and devoted himself to meditation. Then, a very important matter arose for that householder, and he urged the Buddha and the Sangha of monks to come early for the meal. He satisfied them with many clean and delicious foods and drinks, and then they left. The Blessed One gave a Dharma talk to the people of that house and then set off for the monastery. Then, the Venerable Crookback, knowing that it was noon, got up, put on his robes, took his bowl, and went out. The Blessed One went to Prince Jeta's Grove by another road. He went to the householder's house by another road. Then he went there and learned that the Buddha and the Sangha of monks had already been offered a meal and had left. Then he fasted twice that day. The next day, another monk cleaned the Blessed One's chamber. Then, the Venerable Crookback took his broom and went, thinking, "I will clean the Blessed One's chamber." He saw another monk sweeping. Seeing this, he thought, "I may have to fast three times today," and returned to his room. When he returned to his room, the Venerable Ananda heard that the Venerable Crookback had already fasted twice. Hearing this, he asked a benefactor about it and went to the Venerable Crookback and said, "Venerable Crookback, go to the house of so-and-so householder today and have some food." Having said this, the Venerable Ananda himself put on his robes, took his bowl, and went to Shravasti for alms. The Venerable Crookback also waited near the end, and in the morning put on his robes.

Having taken the alms bowl and gone to the house of that householder, due to the maturation of his previous karma, a very important matter occurred to that householder, and he forgot and went to another village without telling any of his family members. After that, the Venerable Hunchback went there but could not find him, and he fasted three times that day at noon. After that, the next day, he took two alms bowls and went to Shravasti, he begged for alms and filled two alms bowls, one he ate himself, and one he took for him, heading towards the garden of King Prasenajit, but due to the maturation of his previous karma, some dogs born from karma appeared on the road, and those dogs snatched the food and ate it. After that, he thought, now if I return to Shravasti, it will be too late, so he went to the temple, and the Venerable Hunchback fasted four times that day at noon. After that, the Venerable Maudgalyayana's son heard that the Venerable Hunchback had fasted four times, and he thought: I should offer him food tomorrow morning. Thinking this, he returned to his dwelling. After that, the next day, he took two alms bowls and went to Shravasti for alms, he begged for alms and filled two alms bowls, one he ate himself, and one he took for him, heading towards the garden of King Prasenajit, but due to the maturation of his previous karma, some crows born from karma appeared on the road, and those crows snatched the food and ate it. After that, the Venerable Maudgalyayana's son thought, now if I return to Shravasti, it will be too late, so he went to the temple, and the Venerable Hunchback that day at noon
