For these, I properly applied my mind, and the following thought arose: 'The noble truth of the cessation of suffering is to be directly experienced through realization.' The eye arose in me, wisdom arose, understanding arose, and enlightenment arose. Monks, for these previously unheard-of teachings, I properly applied my mind, and the following thought arose: 'The noble truth of the path leading to the cessation of suffering is to be cultivated through realization.' The eye arose in me, wisdom arose, understanding arose, and enlightenment arose. Monks, for these previously unheard-of teachings, I properly applied my mind, and the following thought arose: 'The noble truth of suffering is to be fully understood through realization.' The eye arose in me, wisdom arose, understanding arose, and enlightenment arose. Monks, for these previously unheard-of teachings, I properly applied my mind, and the following thought arose: 'The noble truth of the origin of suffering is to be abandoned through realization.' The eye arose in me, wisdom arose, understanding arose, and enlightenment arose.

Monks, I have also become one who dwells mostly with a mind that is liberated, has certainly arisen, is not possessed, is completely liberated, and is free from perversion, from this world with gods, with demons, with Brahma, and this populace with ascetics and Brahmins, and this populace with gods and humans. Monks, I also realized, 'I have awakened to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment.' As this discourse on the Dharma was being spoken, the Dharma eye, without dust and stainless, arose in the venerable Koṇḍinya with regard to phenomena. Then, there the Blessed One said to the venerable Koṇḍinya, 'Koṇḍinya, do you know all the dharmas?' The Blessed One, 'I know all, venerable one.' 'Koṇḍinya, do you know all the dharmas? Do you know all?' The Blessed One, 'Well-gone One, I know all! I know all!' Then, since the venerable Koṇḍinya had come to know all the dharmas, therefore, the name of the venerable Koṇḍinya became 'Koṇḍinya Who Knows All.' As this discourse on the Dharma was being spoken, the yakshas dwelling on the earth uttered sounds and made proclamations, saying, 'Friends, the Blessed One, in Varanasi, in the Deer Park at Isipatana, for the benefit of many beings, for the happiness of many beings, with compassion for the world, for the sake of the meaning, benefit, and happiness of gods and humans, has turned the Wheel of Dharma, which is in accordance with the Dharma, in three rounds and twelve aspects, which in the world, whether ascetic or Brahmin, god or demon or Brahma, or anyone else, has not been turned in accordance with the Dharma. Therefore, the abodes of the gods will manifestly increase, and the abodes of the non-gods will completely diminish.' Having heard the sound of the yakshas dwelling on the earth, the yakshas dwelling in the sky, the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, the Thirty-three, the Yama, the Tusita, the Nimmanarati, and the Paranimmita-vasavatti also uttered sounds and made proclamations, saying, 'In that instant, that moment, that brief moment, in that instant, moment, brief moment, the sound resounded in the Brahma world.' The gods of the Brahma retinue also...
