此后，为了布施的结尾，陈设了五种大布施。听到有人说：“谁能完整地背诵，谁就当权。”那两个人想：“如果为了接受应该接受的东西而前往那里，我们两人之中谁是博闻强记的，谁是背诵纯熟的，一定要弄清楚。”想着，就前往财主子国王的大城市嘎拉巴。那位国王也被天神告知：“婆罗门童子善慧和慧将要来到这里。在那两人之中，将这些大布施献给名为善慧的那位。大国王，您十二年间供养布施的果报，不如将大布施献给婆罗门童子善慧的果报大。”于是国王心想：“既然天神也为了他们两人而告知，那么他们两人必定是伟大之人。”之后，国王从远处看到两位婆罗门童子容貌端正美丽地走来。他们两人也来到举行供养布施的地方，在婆罗门行列中空闲的地方坐在座位上。之后，财主子国王看到他们两人，心想：“天神告知我的名为善慧的，必定是此人。”于是国王走到行列长者面前，询问婆罗门童子善慧：“你是善慧吗？”他回答说：“我是。”之后，财主子国王将婆罗门童子善慧安置在行列长者的位置上，给予食物，并给予五种大布施。婆罗门童子善慧接受了大布施中的金杖和丸等四种，唯独没有接受少女，说道：“我是梵行者。”之后，那位少女看到婆罗门童子善慧容貌端正美丽，心生爱慕，变得心爱，对童子善慧说道：“婆罗门童子，请您接受我。”他说道：“我不能接受。”

Then, at the end of the giving, five great gifts were arranged. Having heard it said, "Whoever is skilled in completing recitations, that one has power," the two thought, "If we go there to receive what should be received, we must determine which of us two is the most learned and which is the most skilled in recitation." Thinking this, they set out for the great city of Galava, the son of the wealthy king. That king was also informed by a deity: "The two Brahman youths, Good Intelligence and Intelligence, will come here. Among the two, offer these great gifts to the one called Good Intelligence. Great king, the merit of your offerings and gifts for twelve years is less than the merit of giving the great gift to the Brahman youth Good Intelligence." Then the king thought, "Since even a deity has informed me for the sake of these two, they must surely be great beings." Then the king saw from afar the two Brahman youths coming, their appearances good and beautiful. The two also came to the place where offerings and gifts were being made, and sat on seats in the Brahman row in a vacant spot. Then the son of the wealthy king saw the two and thought, "The one called Good Intelligence, whom the deity informed me about, must surely be this one." Then the king went before the leader of the row and asked the Brahman youth Good Intelligence, "Are you Good Intelligence?" He replied, "I am." Then the son of the wealthy king placed the Brahman youth Good Intelligence in the position of the row leader, gave him food, and gave him the five great gifts to be given. The Brahman youth Good Intelligence accepted four of the great gifts, the golden staff and the ball, etc., but did not accept the maiden alone, saying, "I am a celibate." Then the maiden saw the Brahman youth Good Intelligence, his appearance good and beautiful, and became attached and beloved, and said to the youth Good Intelligence, "Brahman youth, please accept me." He said, "I cannot accept you."

Then, the king also completely released that girl with the thought of giving her away as a great act of generosity. The Brahmin boy, Good Intelligence, neither took her back nor married her, but went to the city of Light in the kingdom of Light. Having gone there, he took off all his ornaments from his body and gave them to the garland maker, saying, "This ornament is precious, please give me blue lotuses every day for the worship of the gods." Then, according to his words, the garland maker gave him the gold ornament and began to worship the gods. The Brahmin boy, Good Intelligence, also took those four great gifts and went to the Khenpo (teacher). Having gone there, he also offered those four great gifts to the Khenpo. The Khenpo took three of them and gave five hundred Kārṣāpaṇas (ancient Indian currency unit) to Good Intelligence himself. That very night, Good Intelligence had ten dreams: he dreamt that he was drinking the great ocean; he dreamt that he was walking in the sky; he dreamt that he would touch and grasp the sun and moon, these two powerful celestial bodies, with his hands; he dreamt that he would have kings pull his chariot; he dreamt that he would be with hermits, white elephants, swans, lions, and great rocks. Having dreamt these dreams, he awoke. Having awakened, he thought, "Who can predict these dreams of mine?" Then, not far away, lived a hermit who possessed five kinds of clairvoyance. So, in order to dispel his doubts, the Brahmin boy, Good Intelligence, went to that hermit, and after saying some pleasant words to the hermit, Good Intelligence recounted those dreams, saying, "Please be sure to determine the meaning of these ten dreams." Then, that hermit said, "I cannot predict these dreams, but go to the royal palace of the kingdom of Light. There, in order for King Light to touch the feet of the perfectly enlightened Buddha Dipamkara (燃燈佛), he will be invited into the city, and he will predict these dreams." Then, King Wealth

The flower garland maker said, "Today, the king has collected all the flowers in order to invite the Buddha." She said, "Go to the flower pond and look again, and if by my merit I can find blue utpala flowers that have not been picked, it is possible." Then, at the flower pond, by the power of Lobzang's merit, seven blue utpala flowers appeared. Then, the flower garland maker went and saw them. After seeing them, the daughter said to the flower garland maker, "Pick these utpala flowers." The flower garland maker said, "If the superiors find out, I will be punished, I cannot pick them." Then she said, "Didn't you pick all the flowers before and offer them to the king?" The flower garland maker said, "I did." Then the daughter said, "These flowers have arisen from my merit, pick them and give them to me." The flower garland maker said, "How can I take these away without the superiors noticing?" The daughter said, "They have arisen from the power of my merit, pick them, and I will put them in a water pot and send them inside." Then, the flower garland maker, hearing those words, picked those flowers and gave them to the daughter. She took them and put them in a water pot, filling the pot with water.
