སྙམ་དུ་བསམས་ནས། དེས་རྫོགས་བྱེད་ལ་སོགས་པ་སྟོན་པ་དྲུག་སྤྱན་དྲངས་ཏེ། རང་གི་ལག་གིས་བཟའ་བ་དང་བཅའ་བ་གཙང་མ་བཟང་པོ་མང་པོས་ཚིམ་པར་བྱས་ནས། རྐང་པ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱེད་ནི་འདི་ལྟར་འདས་པ་དང་མ་འོངས་པ་དང་ད་ལྟར་བྱུང་བ་ཅི་ཡང་མི་མཁྱེན་པའམ། མི་རྟོགས་པ་མི་མངའ་བ་ལགས་ན། བདག་གི་བུ་འདི་རླུང་གིས་རྒྱབ་སྒུར་པོར་བགྱིས་པ་དེ་སོས་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ་ཞེས་བྱས་སོ། །དེ་དག་གིས་ཀྱང་དེ་ལ་སྔགས་དང་སྨན་མང་དུ་བྱས་ན། འོན་ཀྱང་སོས་པར་བྱེད་མ་ནུས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་ བདག་དེའི་མཛའ་བོ་བཤེས་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་སངས་རྒྱས་པའི་དགེ་བསྙེན་ཞིག་ཡོད་པ་དེས། དེ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ་གྲོགས་པོ་སྐྱབས་མ་ཡིན་པ་འདི་དག་ལ་སྐྱབས་བཙལ་ཏེ་ཅི་བྱ། སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་སོང་དང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ལེགས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་མཛད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ་དེ་ཅི་ཤེས་པ་ཞིག་དགེ་བསྙེན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། དེ་ནི་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་པ་རྣམ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་ཐོས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་དགའ་བ་སྐྱེས་སོ། །དགའ་བ་སྐྱེས་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ། ཆོས་མཉན་པའི་ཕྱིར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་སྤྱན་སྔར་འདུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེ་དང་འཚམ་པའི་ཆོས་བསྟན་ནས་ཅང་མི་གསུང་བར་བཞུགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གཏམ་གྱི་མཇུག་རྫོགས་ནས། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་སྟན་ལས་ལངས་ཏེ་བླ་གོས་ཕྲག་པ་གཅིག་ཏུ་གཟར་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དགེ་སློང་གི་དགེ་འདུན་དང་ཐབས་ཅིག་ཏུ་སང་བདག་གི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་བཤོས་གསོལ་བར་ཅི་གནང་ཞེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་ལ་ཅང་མི་གསུང་བས་གནང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཅང་མི་གསུང་བས་གནང་བར་རིག་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གསུངས་པ་ལ་མངོན་པར་བསྟོད་དེ། རྗེས་སུ་ཡི་རང་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཐད་ནས་སོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་དེས་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་མཚན་མོ་བཟའ་བ་དང་བཅའ་བ་གཙང་མ་བཟང་པོ་མང་པོ་སྦྱར་ནས་ནང་པར་སྔར་ལངས་ཏེ་གདན་བཤམས་ནས་ཕྱག་ཆབ་ཀྱི་ཆུ་ར་བཀང་སྟེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་ཕྲིན་གྱིས་གདུགས་ཚོད་བསྐུལ་བ། བཙུན་པ་གདུགས་ཚོད་ལ་བབ་སྟེ་བཤོས་གསོལ་ལགས་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ད་དེའི་དུས་ལ་བབ་པར་དགོངས་ཏེ་གཤེགས་སུ་གསོལ་ཞེས་བསྐུལ་ཏོ

心想之后，他便迎请了圆满等六位论师，亲手准备了许多干净美好的食物，让他们饱餐一顿，然后礼拜他们的双足，说道：您们如此这般，难道对过去、未来和现在发生的一切都一无所知吗？难道您们没有什么是不了解、不明白的吗？祈请您们治好我这被风吹得背都弯了的儿子。他们也为他做了许多咒语和药物，然而却没能治好。之后，这位户主的亲密好友，一位信奉佛教的居士对他说：朋友，向这些不能作为救护者的人寻求救护有什么用呢？去皈依世尊佛陀吧，你的一切善事都会实现的。他问道：他懂什么呢？居士说：他是遍知一切者，是知晓一切事物者。之后，户主一听到这些话，立刻心生欢喜。生起欢喜之后，他便前往世尊所在之处，抵达后，以头顶礼拜世尊的双足，为了听闻佛法，便在世尊面前坐下。之后，世尊为他宣说了与他相应的佛法，然后便保持沉默。之后，世尊结束了谈话，户主从座位上站起，将上衣偏袒一肩，向世尊禀告道：世尊，是否允许明天我与比丘僧团一同到我家应供？之后，世尊没有说话，表示应允。之后，户主得知世尊没有说话就是应允，便对世尊的教诲深感赞叹，随喜之后，以头顶礼拜世尊的双足，从世尊处离开了。之后，他在当天晚上准备了许多干净美好的食物，第二天早上早早起床，铺设好座位，盛满了洗手水，然后派人去催请世尊：尊者，斋饭时间已到，如果世尊认为时间已到，请移步前往。

Having thought thus, he invited six teachers, including the one who brings to completion, and satisfied them with many clean and excellent foods prepared by his own hands. Then, bowing at their feet, he said: "Do you not know anything about the past, future, and present? Is there anything that you do not understand or comprehend? Please heal my son, whose back has been bent by the wind." They also performed many mantras and administered medicine, but they were unable to heal him. Then, a close friend of that householder, a Buddhist lay practitioner, said to him: "Friend, what is the use of seeking refuge in those who cannot provide refuge? Go and take refuge in the Blessed One, the Buddha, and all your good deeds will be accomplished." He asked: "What does he know?" The lay practitioner said: "He is the all-knowing one, the one who knows all things." Then, as soon as the householder heard these words, he felt joy. Having felt joy, he went to where the Blessed One was, and upon arriving, he bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One. In order to listen to the Dharma, he sat down in front of the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One taught him the Dharma that was appropriate for him, and then remained silent. Then, after the Blessed One finished speaking, the householder rose from his seat, draped his upper garment over one shoulder, and said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, would you please allow me to offer a meal to the Sangha of monks at my house tomorrow?" Then, the Blessed One remained silent, indicating his acceptance. Then, the householder, knowing that the Blessed One's silence meant acceptance, praised the Blessed One's words, rejoiced, bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One, and departed from the presence of the Blessed One. Then, that very night, he prepared many clean and excellent foods, and the next morning he rose early, prepared the seats, filled the water for washing hands, and then sent a messenger to urge the Blessed One: "Venerable One, the time for the meal has arrived. If the Blessed One deems it the right time, please come."

此后，世尊于清晨穿好下裙和法衣，手持钵盂，由比丘众随侍，比丘僧团在前引导，前往那位施主的住处。那位童子从远处看见了佛陀世尊，其身以大丈夫的三十二相庄严，光彩照人，犹如火焰之形，又如灯焰加油，又如明灯置于金器之中，又如以各种珍宝装饰的佛塔。他看见了智慧明亮、无垢且具足清净的佛陀世尊。见到后，生起了极大的欢喜。由积聚善根之因所生的有情，初见佛陀时的安乐感受，如同十二年间修习止观禅定所生的安乐感受也无法与之相比。如此见到后，那位童子对世尊生起了极大的欢喜。生起极大的欢喜后，他以恭敬谨慎的态度从座位上站了起来。他从座位上站起来的瞬间，之前弯曲的背部就如先前一样伸直了。之后，他对世尊更加生起了欢喜。生起欢喜后，他前往世尊所在之处，到达后，以头顶礼拜世尊的双足，并以嘴唇触碰世尊的双足，说道：世尊您对我太慈悲了！善逝您对我太慈悲了！然后，世尊在比丘僧团之中铺设好的座位上坐下。之后，那位施主知道佛陀等比丘僧团都安乐就座后，亲自用自己的手以许多干净美好的饮食使他们饱足，并随其所需地供养。亲自用自己的手以许多干净美好的饮食，以各种方式使他们饱足，并随其所需地供养后，知道世尊已经用斋完毕，收起了钵盂，于是为了听法而坐在世尊面前。之后，世尊为那位施主及其眷属

Then, in the morning, the Blessed One, having put on his lower garment and robes, and carrying his bowl, attended by a gathering of monks, and with the monastic community of monks leading the way, went to the residence of that householder. From afar, that boy saw the Buddha, the Blessed One, whose body was well adorned and radiant with the thirty-two marks of a great being, like the shape of a flame, like a flame with oil added, like a lamp placed in a golden vessel, like a stupa adorned with various precious jewels. He saw the Buddha, the Blessed One, who was bright with wisdom, immaculate, and endowed with purity. Having seen him, he felt supreme joy. The pleasant experience of a sentient being who, arising from the cause of accumulating virtuous roots, sees the Buddha for the first time, is such that even the pleasant experience of having cultivated calm abiding meditation for twelve years would not arise in the same way. Having seen him in this way, that boy felt great joy towards the Blessed One. Having felt great joy, he stood up from his seat with an attitude of reverence and respect. The moment he stood up from his seat, his hunched back became straight as before. Then, he felt even more joy towards the Blessed One. Having felt joy, he went to where the Blessed One was, and having arrived, he bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One, and touched the feet of the Blessed One with his lips, saying: "Blessed One, you have been so kind to me! Sugata, you have been so kind to me!" Then, the Blessed One sat down on the seat that had been prepared in the midst of the monastic community of monks. Then, that householder, knowing that the Buddha and the monastic community of monks were seated comfortably, satisfied them with many clean and excellent foods from his own hands, and offered them whatever they desired. Having satisfied them with many clean and excellent foods of various kinds from his own hands, and having offered them whatever they desired, knowing that the Blessed One had finished his meal and had put away his bowl, he sat before the Blessed One in order to listen to the Dharma.
