For example: the fear of fish, the fear of being swallowed by fish, the fear of being swallowed and swallowed by fish, the fear of waves, the fear of the abyss, the fear of the crocodile Kumbhira, the fear of the crocodile Shishumara, the fear of touching the mountains in the water, the fear of black wind. There, robbers wearing blue and black clothes come to plunder wealth, and they will completely take your lives. Don't regret it after you return to Jambudvipa!' On this Treasure Island, there also live Rakshasa women called Crane Maidens, who will use various methods to seduce men and make them degenerate in this place.

They carefully examined the jewels and filled the ship, as if filled with sesame, rice, Badara fruits, and Chinese beans. Then, they traveled to Jambudvipa (the Southern Continent) with a favorable wind. In this way, he accomplished the task of ocean voyages six times. Having arrived in Varanasi, he engaged in giving alms and performing virtuous deeds. At that time, in five other cities, there were five captains dwelling. They had gone and been lost, and their ships had become ruined. They thought: Through the power of one being renowned for their merit, many beings will become happy. And the great captain Dbyig dga' (Wealth Joy) is renowned for their merit. He has accomplished the task of ocean voyages six times. If we can please him, we will be able to acquire wealth through his power. Thinking this, they gathered together and went to Varanasi, and having gone to the captain Dbyig dga', they said: Captain, we have gone and been lost, and our treasure ships have become ruined. You are renowned for your merit, so for the sake of compassion for us, please embark on the great ocean, and through your power, we will be able to acquire wealth. He said: Alas, according to the law of the great ocean, the seventh voyage will become unfavorable. Previously, no one has ever successfully completed seven ocean voyages. However, in order to fulfill your wishes, and solely out of compassion for you, I will go on the seventh voyage.

Then, the great captain Delight, while dwelling in the great ocean, thought to himself: "It does not seem likely that we, who are dwelling in the great ocean, will reach the other shore without mishap and in ease. Rather, I shall fill sacks with precious jewels and tie them to my waist." Thinking this, he filled sacks with precious jewels and tied them to his waist. He then said to those merchants: "Hey, if by chance the ship becomes ruined, grab onto my body!" Then, one day later, the beings dwelling in the water wrecked the ship, and those five captains grabbed onto the body of Captain Delight. Then, Captain Delight thought: "While I am alive, I will not be able to rescue these ones from the great ocean, and it is impossible and unseemly for the great ocean to remain together with a dead corpse, for that is not the place. Rather, when I am dead, they will quickly cross over the great ocean." Then, he said to the captains: "Hey, be steadfast and greatly increase your joy, and I will certainly cause you to cross over the great ocean without mishap and in ease. And after you have crossed over, do not abandon my body, but divide and take the sacks that I have filled with precious jewels and tied to my waist, and that will cause the seven generations of both sides of your families to live." Having said this, he made the aspiration for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment: "Alas, by this root of virtue, may I, in a blind world without a guide, without a complete guide, and without a teacher, become a Tathagata, an Arhat, a perfectly and completely awakened Buddha, endowed with knowledge and conduct, a Sugata, a knower of the world, a tamer of beings to be tamed, an unsurpassed one, a teacher of gods and humans, a Buddha, a Bhagavan."
