་དྲག་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་གང་གི་ཚེ་ཆེར་སྐྱེས་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་ཡི་གེ་དང་ཁོང་རྩིས་དང་། ཤོད་དགོད་པ་དང་ལག་རྩིས་དང་དབྱུང་བ་དང་། སྦ་བ་དང་དགྲམ་པ་དང་གོས་བརྟག་པ་དང་ནོར་བུ་བརྟག་པ་དང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བརྟག་པ་དང་། སྤོས་བརྟག་པ་དང་སྨན་བརྟག་པ་དང་། གླང་པོ་ཆེ་བརྟག་པ་དང་རྟ་བརྟག་པ་དང་གོ་མཚོན་བརྟག་པ་བསླབས་ཏེ། ཡི་གེ་མཁས་པ་དང་ཀློག་མཁས་པ་དང་། མཛངས་པ་དང་བྱ་བ་ལ་གསལ་བ་དང་ཡིད་གཞུངས་པ་དང་བརྟག་པ་རྣམ་པ་བརྒྱད་ལ་བྱང་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་ཀྱང་མིག་ཆུང་རབ་ཏུ་དབྱུང་བའི་དུས་ལ་བབ་པར་མཐོང་ནས། སྔ་དྲོ་ཤམ་ཐབས་དང་ཆོས་གོས་བགོས་ཏེ་ལྷུང་བཟེད་ཐོགས་ནས་མཉན་དུ་ཡོད་པར་བསོད་སྙོམས་ལ་སོང་སྟེ། དེ་མཐར་གྱིས་བསོད་སྙོམས་རྒྱུ་བ་ལས། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེའི་ཁྱིམ་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་ནས་སྟན་བཤམས་པ་ལ་འདུག་གོ །འདུག་ནས་ཀྱང་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱིམ་བདག་ཁྱེའུ་འདི་ནི་མ་བཙས་པའི་སྔ་རོལ་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་བདག་གི་གཡོག་ཏུ་བྱིན་ཏེ། ཁོང་དགེ་བ་རྣམས་ནི་དམ་བཅས་པ་ལ་བརྟན་པ་ཡིན་ན། དེ་ཁོ་ན་ལྟར་དམ་མ་བཅས་སམ། ཁྱིམ་བདག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དེ་ཁོ་ན་ལྟར་དམ་བཅས་ལགས་སོ་ཞེས་བྱས་ནས། ཁྱེའུ་དེ་ལག་པ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་བཟུང་སྟེ། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ལ་ཕུལ་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། བུ་ཁྱོད་མ་བཙས་པའི་སྔ་རོལ་ནས། འཕགས་པ་ལ་ངས་ཕུལ་ གྱིས་སོང་ལ་འཕགས་པའི་ཞམ་རིང་གྱིས་ཤིག །ཁྱེའུས་སྨྲས་པ། དེ་ནི་བདག་ལ་ཕན་བཏགས་པ་ལགས་སོ་ཞེས་བྱས་ནས། ཁྱེའུ་དེ་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུའི་ཕྱི་བཞིན་འབྲང་སྟེ། ཁྱེའུ་དེ་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས། གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དུ་ཁྲིད་ནས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱུང་སྟེ། དེ་ལ་ལུང་ཡང་ཕོག་གོ །དེས་ཀྱང་དགེ་ཚུལ་བ་བྱེད་བཞིན་དུ་བརྩོན་པ་དང་བསྒྲུབ་པ་དང་འབད་པས་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་སྤངས་ནས་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བྱས་ཏེ། དེ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཁམས་གསུམ་པའི་འདོད་ཆགས་དང་བྲལ་བར་གྱུར་ནས། གསེར་དང་བོང་བར་མཉམ་པ། ནམ་མཁའ་དང་ལག་མཐིལ་དུ་འདྲ་བའི་སེམས་དང་ལྡན་པ། ཙན་དན་སྦངས་པ་ལྟ་བུར་བསིལ་བར་གྱུར་པ། རིག་པས་སྒོ་ངའི་སྦུབས་བཅོམ་པ། རིག་པ་དང་མངོན་པར་ཤེས་པ་དང་སོ་སོ་ཡང་དག་པར་རིག་པ་ཐོབ་པ། སྲེད་པའི་རྙེད་པ་དང་ཆགས་པ་དང་བཀུར་སྟི་ལ་རྒྱབ་ཀྱིས་ཕྱོགས་པ་དང་དབང་པོ་དང་ཉེ་དབང་དང་བཅས་པའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མཆོད་ཅིང་རྗེད་པ་དང་གུས་པར་སྨྲ་བའི་གནས་སུ་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེས་དགྲ་བཅོམ

变得非常厉害。在那孩子长大成人的时候，就学习文字、算术、吟唱、嬉笑、手算、减法、隐藏、散布、检查衣服、检查宝石、检查珍宝、检查香、检查药、检查大象、检查马、检查武器。精通文字，擅长阅读，聪明，做事干脆利落，心胸宽广，精通八种占卜之术。之后，具寿舍利子看到给小眼出家的时机已到，早上穿好裙子和法衣，拿着钵去舍卫城乞食。他依次乞食，来到那位户主的家，走到铺设好的座位上坐下。坐下后，具寿舍利子对户主说：户主，这个孩子在未出生之前，你就已经答应给我做侍者了。你们这些善良的人，对于誓言是坚定的，难道不是像那样发过誓了吗？户主说：圣者，确实是那样发过誓的。说完，他双手抓住那个孩子，献给具寿舍利子，说道：孩子，你在未出生之前，我就已经献给圣者了，去吧，侍奉圣者。孩子说：这对我来说是恩惠啊。说完，那个孩子就跟在具寿舍利子身后。具寿舍利子把那个孩子带到寺院，让他出家，也让他受了比丘戒。他作为沙弥，通过精进、修行和努力，断除了一切烦恼，现证了阿罗汉果位。那位阿罗汉，已经脱离了三界的贪欲，像黄金和土块一样平等，拥有像天空和手掌一样的心，像用檀香浸泡过一样清凉，用智慧摧毁了卵壳，获得了智慧、神通和各别自证智，背离了贪欲的利养、执着和恭敬，成为了包括天神在内的所有有权势者供养、忆念和恭敬的对象。他（指阿罗汉）

became very powerful. When that child grew up, he learned writing, arithmetic, chanting, laughing, manual calculation, subtraction, hiding, spreading, examining clothes, examining gems, examining precious stones, examining incense, examining medicine, examining elephants, examining horses, and examining weapons. He became proficient in writing, skilled in reading, intelligent, clear in his actions, broad-minded, and proficient in the eight types of divination. Then, the Venerable Shariputra, seeing that the time had come to ordain Little Eyes, put on his robes and Dharma garments in the morning, took his bowl, and went to Shravasti for alms. He went begging from house to house, and arrived at the house of that householder, and sat down on the prepared seat. After sitting down, the Venerable Shariputra said to the householder: Householder, you promised to give me this child as a servant even before he was born. You virtuous people are steadfast in your vows, didn't you vow like that? The householder said: Holy One, that is indeed how I vowed. Having said that, he took the child with both hands and offered him to the Venerable Shariputra, saying: Child, even before you were born, I offered you to the Holy One, go and serve the Holy One. The child said: That is a favor to me. Having said that, the child followed behind the Venerable Shariputra. The Venerable Shariputra took the child to the monastery and ordained him, and also gave him the precepts. As a novice, through diligence, practice, and effort, he abandoned all defilements and directly realized the state of an Arhat. That Arhat, having become free from the desire of the three realms, was equal to gold and clods of earth, possessed a mind like the sky and the palm of the hand, became cool like sandalwood soaked in water, destroyed the shell of the egg with wisdom, and obtained wisdom, supernormal powers, and individual self-realization. He turned his back on the gains, attachments, and honors of craving, and became an object of worship, remembrance, and reverence by the gods, including the powerful ones and their retinues.
