དན་བཤམས་པ་ལ་བཞུགས་སུ་གསོལ། དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་ རིའི་བུ་སྟན་བཤམས་པ་ལ་འདུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་བདེ་བར་འདུག་པར་རིག་ནས། རང་གི་ལག་ནས་བཟའ་བ་དང་བཅའ་བ་གཙང་མ་བཟང་པོ་མང་པོས་ཚིམ་པར་བྱས་ཏེ། ཅི་འདོད་པ་བསྟབས་སོ། །རང་གི་ལག་ནས་བཟའ་བ་དང་བཅའ་བ་གཙང་མ་བཟང་པོ་མང་པོ་རྣམ་གྲངས་དུ་མས་ཚིམ་པར་བྱས་ཏེ་ཅི་འདོད་པ་བསྟབས་ནས། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས། དེའི་ཉིན་པར་ཟན་ཟོས་པའི་འོག་ཏུ་ཁྱི་དེ་ལ་ཁྱོས་མ་བྱིན་ཏེ། ཁྱི་དེས་ཟོས་ནས་དེའི་གདོང་དུ་བལྟས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ཟན་ཟོས་ཟིན་ཏེ། སྡེར་ནི་གྱུ་ལྷུང་བཟེད་ནི་བཀྲུས་པར་རིག་ནས་ཆོས་མཉན་པའི་ཕྱིར་མདུན་དུ་འདུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པའི་བསམ་པ་དང་བག་ལ་ཉལ་དང་ཁམས་དང་རང་བཞིན་རྟོགས་ནས། དེ་དང་འཐུན་པའི་ཆོས་སྟོན་པར་བྱེད་དེ། དེ་ཐོས་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པས། སྟན་དེ་ལ་འདུག་བཞིན་དུ་འཇིག་ཚོགས་ལ་ལྟ་བའི་རིའི་རྩེ་མོ་མཐོན་པོ་ཉི་ཤུ་ཡེ་ཤེས་རྡོ་རྗེས་བཅོམ་ནས་རྒྱུན་དུ་ཞུགས་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བྱས་ཏེ། དེས་བདེན་པ་མཐོང་ནས་སྐྱབས་སུ་འགྲོ་བ་དང་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་རྣམས་བླངས་ཏེ། སྨྲས་པ་བཙུན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་བདག་ཇི་སྲིད་འཚོའི་བར་དུ་བདག་ལས་གོས་དང་ཟས་དང་མལ་ཆ་དང་སྟན་དང་སྙུན་གསོས་དང་སྨན་ཟོང་རྣམས་བཞེས་པར་གསོལ། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱིམ་བདག་གཞན་དག་ལ་ཡང་ཕན་གདགས་དགོས་ཀྱིས་ཐོང་ཤིག་ཅེས་བྱས་ནས་སྟན་ལས་ལངས་ཏེ་སོང་ངོ་། །དེར་གང་གི་ཚེ་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་བདེན་པ་རྣམས་མཐོང་ནས་སྐྱབས་སུ་འགྲོ་བ་དང་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་རྣམས་བླངས་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་དེས་སྦྱིན་པ་དག་སྦྱིན་པ་དང་བསོད་ནམས་དག་བྱ་བར་བརྩམས་སོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ཡང་དུས་དུས་སུ་སྤྱན་དྲངས་ཏེ། བཤོས་གསོལ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་ཀྱང་ཟན་ཟོས་པའི་འོག་ཏུ་ཁྱི་དེ་ལ་ཁྱོས་མ་བྱིན་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །ཁྱི་དེ་ཡང་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་ཏེ། དེ་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་ནས་གང་གི་ཚེ་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་ པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ། ཁྱིམ་དེར་འོང་བ་དེའི་ཚེ། ཁྱི་དེས་བསུ་ནས་རྐང་པ་ལ་བལྡགས་ཏེ་མཇུག་མ་དྲིལ་ནས་ལན་གསུམ་སྐོར་བ་བྱེད་དོ། །དེར་གང་གི་ཚེ་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་ཆོས་བཤད་ནས་ཕྱིར་འགྲོ་བ་དེའི་ཚེ་ཁྱི་དེས་ཐེ་གི་ཟད་ཙམ་དུ་བསྐྱལ་ན

请在座垫上就座。然后，具寿舍利子坐在准备好的座垫上。之后，户主看到具寿舍利子安稳就座，便亲自用干净、优质的食物和饮料充分满足他，并随其所愿地供养。亲自用各种各样干净、优质的食物和饮料充分满足他，并随其所愿地供养后，具寿舍利子在当天用餐后没有把食物给那只狗。狗吃完后，看着他的脸。然后，户主看到具寿舍利子已经用完餐，洗净了钵，便为了听法而坐在前面。之后，具寿舍利子了解了户主及其眷属的思想、习气、根性和本性，便为他们宣讲相应的佛法。听到佛法后，户主及其眷属坐在座位上，以智慧金刚摧毁了二十座高耸的坏聚见山顶，从而证得了入流果。他见到了真谛，皈依了三宝，并受持了学处。他说：尊者舍利子，请您接受我终身供养的衣服、食物、卧具、座垫、医药和药品。具寿舍利子说：户主，你也需要利益其他人，请允许我离开。说完，便从座位上起身离开了。当户主见到真谛，皈依三宝并受持学处时，他便开始行布施和积功德。具寿舍利子也时常被邀请去应供。具寿舍利子用餐后，也不会把食物给那只狗。那只狗也变得非常喜欢具寿舍利子。它变得非常高兴，每当具寿舍利子来到那家时，那只狗就会迎接他，舔他的脚，摇着尾巴绕他三圈。当具寿舍利子说法后离开时，那只狗会送他到路的尽头。

Please be seated on the prepared seat. Then, the venerable Shariputra sat on the prepared seat. After that, the householder, seeing that the venerable Shariputra was seated comfortably, personally satisfied him with plenty of clean and excellent food and drink, and offered him whatever he desired. After personally satisfying him with various kinds of clean and excellent food and drink, and offering him whatever he desired, the venerable Shariputra did not give the food to that dog after eating his meal that day. After the dog ate, it looked at his face. Then, the householder, seeing that the venerable Shariputra had finished his meal and washed his bowl, sat in front to listen to the Dharma. After that, the venerable Shariputra understood the thoughts, habits, dispositions, and nature of the householder and his retinue, and taught them the Dharma accordingly. After hearing the Dharma, the householder and his retinue, while sitting on the seat, manifestly attained the fruit of stream-entry by destroying the twenty high peaks of the mountain of the view of the perishable aggregates with the vajra of wisdom. He saw the truth, took refuge in the Three Jewels, and took the precepts. He said: Venerable Shariputra, please accept from me clothes, food, bedding, seats, medicine for the sick, and medicinal supplies for as long as I live. The venerable Shariputra said: Householder, you also need to benefit others, please allow me to leave. Having said this, he rose from his seat and left. When the householder saw the truths, took refuge in the Three Jewels, and took the precepts, he began to give alms and accumulate merit. The venerable Shariputra was also invited from time to time to receive offerings. The venerable Shariputra also did not give the food to that dog after eating his meal. That dog also became very fond of the venerable Shariputra. It became very happy, and whenever the venerable Shariputra came to that house, the dog would greet him, lick his feet, wag its tail, and circle him three times. When the venerable Shariputra left after teaching the Dharma, the dog would see him off to the end of the road.

ས། ལན་གསུམ་བསྐོར་བ་བྱས་ཏེ་ཕྱིར་ལྡོག་གོ །དེ་ནས་ཕྱིས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས། ཡང་ཁྱིམ་དེར་ཟན་ཟོས་ཏེ་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་ནས་ཕྱིར་འགྲོ་བ་ན་ཁྱི་དེ་ཡང་ཕྱི་བཞིན་འབྲང་སྟེ། ཕྱི་རོལ་གྱི་ལམ་པོ་ཆེར་སོང་ནས་ལྕེས་རྐང་པ་ལ་བལྡགས་ཏེ། མཇུག་མ་དྲིལ་ནས་ལན་གསུམ་བསྐོར་བ་བྱས་ཏེ། ཕྱིར་ལོག་ནས་ཁྱིམ་དུ་འགྲོ་བ་ན། ཁྱི་དེ་ཁྱི་གཞན་དག་ཅིག་གིས་བཅས་ནས་བསད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་དེ་གནས་བརྟན་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ལ་སེམས་དགའ་བཞིན་དུ་ཤི་འཕོས་ཏེ་འདས་ནས་ཁྱིམ་དེ་ཉིད་དུ་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེའི་ཆུང་མ་ཆེན་མའི་མངལ་དུ་སྐྱེས་སོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་ཀྱང་ཁྱི་དེ་བདག་གི་ཐད་ནས་ཕྱིར་ལྡོག་པའི་འོག་ཏུ་ཁྱི་གཞན་དག་གིས་ཇི་ལྟར་བསད་པ་ཤེས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་དེས་བསམས་པ་ཁྱི་དེ་གར་སྐྱེས་སྙམ་པ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་ཁྱིམ་བདག་གི་ཆུང་མའི་མངལ་དུ་སྐྱེས་པར་མཐོང་ངོ་། །མཐོང་ནས་ཀྱང་དེ་ཉིད་ལ་སྙིང་བརྩེ་བའི་ཕྱིར་གཡོག་མེད་པར་གཅིག་པུ་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེའི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་སོང་བ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ཟླ་མེད་པ་དང་། གཡོག་མེད་པར་གཅིག་པུ་འོང་བར་མཐོང་ངོ་། །མཐོང་ནས་ཀྱང་འཕགས་པ་ཁྱོད་ཅིའི་སླད་དུ་ཟླ་མ་མཆིས་པ་དང་། ཞམ་རིང་མ་མཆིས་པར་གཅིག་པུ་གཤེགས། འཕགས་པའི་ཞམ་རིང་བགྱིད་པ་འགའ་ཡང་མ་མཆིས་སམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་སོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱེད་ཅག་ལྟ་བུ་འབའ་ཞིག་གིས་བྱིན་པ་མ་གཏོགས་པར་བདག་ཅག་ལ་གུད་ན་གཡོག་གི་འབྱུང་ཁུངས་ག་ལ་ཡོད། ཁྱིམ་བདག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། བཙུན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་བདག་གི་མཆིས་བྲང་ལ་བུ་ཆགས་པ་མཆིས་ཀྱིས། དེ་ལས་གལ་ཏེ་ཁྱེའུ་ཞིག་བཙས་པར་གྱུར་ན། དེ་བདག་གིས་འཕགས་པའི་ཞམ་རིང་དུ་དབུལ་ལོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁོང་དགེ་བ་རྣམས་ནི་དམ་བཅས་ པ་ལ་བརྟན་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་ནས། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་སོང་ངོ་། །ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེའི་ཆུང་མ་ཡང་ཟླ་བ་དགུའམ་བཅུ་ལོན་པ་དང་། ཁྱེའུ་གཟུགས་བཟང་ཞིང་། བལྟ་ན་སྡུག་ལ་མཛེས་པ་ཞིག་བཙས་མོད་ཀྱི་འོན་ཀྱང་མིག་ཆུང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་དེའི་བཙས་སྟོན་རྒྱས་པར་བྱས་ནས། ཁྱེའུ་འདིའི་མིང་ཇི་སྐད་གདགས་ཞེས་མིང་འདོགས་པར་བྱེད་དེ། ཁྱེའུ་འདི་མིག་ཆུང་བས་ན་མིང་མིག་ཆུང་ཞེས་གདགས་སོ་ཞེས་ཟེར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱེའུ་མིག་ཆུང་འོ་མ་དང་། ཞོ་དང་མར་དང་ཞུན་མར་དང་། མར་གྱི་ཉིང་གུས་བསྐྱེད་བསྲིངས་ཏེ་མཚོའི་ནང་གི་པད་མ་བཞིན་དུ་སྐྱེ

于是，（狗）转了三圈后就回去了。之后，具寿舍利子又去那家吃饭，给那家主人说法后要走的时候，那条狗也像先前一样跟随着，到了外面的大路上，用舌头舔他的脚，摇着尾巴转了三圈，然后返回家去，那条狗就被其他的狗一起杀死了。之后，它对尊者舍利子心生欢喜而死，去世后转生到那家，成了那家主人的大妻子的胎中。具寿舍利子也知道那条狗从自己这里回去之后，被其他的狗如何杀死的事情。之后他想那条狗生在哪里呢？就看到生在那家主人的家里，成了主人的妻子的胎中。看到后，也因为怜悯它，没有仆人独自去了那家主人的家里，那家主人看到具寿舍利子没有同伴，独自前来。看到后就问道：圣者，您为何没有同伴，也没有侍者独自前来？难道没有服侍圣者的人吗？具寿舍利子说：除了像你们这样的人给予外，我们哪里有其他的仆人来源呢？家主说：尊者舍利子，我的妻子已经怀孕了，如果从中生下一个男孩，我将把他献给圣者做侍者。具寿舍利子说：善良的人们对于誓言是坚定的。说完这些，具寿舍利子就走了。那家主人的妻子也满了九个月或十个月，生下了一个相貌端正，看起来可爱又漂亮的男孩，但是眼睛很小。之后，他们隆重地举办了诞生仪式，要给这个男孩起名字，（人们）说：这个男孩因为眼睛小，所以名字就叫小眼吧。之后，小眼男孩用牛奶、酸奶、酥油、炼乳和醍醐喂养长大，就像湖中的莲花一样生长。

Then, (the dog) turned around three times and went back. Later, the Venerable Śāriputra went to that house again for food, and when he was about to leave after teaching the Dharma to the householder, the dog followed him as before. When they reached the main road outside, it licked his feet with its tongue, wagged its tail, and circled him three times. As it was returning home, that dog was killed by other dogs together. After that, it died with joy in its heart for the Venerable Śāriputra, and after passing away, it was reborn in that very house, in the womb of the householder's chief wife. The Venerable Śāriputra also knew how that dog had been killed by other dogs after returning from his presence. Then he wondered where that dog had been born, and he saw that it had been born in the house of that very householder, in the womb of the householder's wife. Having seen this, and out of compassion for it, he went alone without a servant to the house of that householder. The householder saw the Venerable Śāriputra coming alone without a companion or servant. Seeing this, he asked, "Holy one, why have you come alone without a companion or attendant? Are there none to attend to the holy one?" The Venerable Śāriputra said, "Where else would we have a source of servants other than from those who give like you?" The householder said, "Venerable Śāriputra, my wife is pregnant. If she gives birth to a boy, I will offer him to the holy one as an attendant." The Venerable Śāriputra said, "Good people are steadfast in their vows." Having said this, the Venerable Śāriputra departed. The householder's wife also completed nine or ten months, and gave birth to a boy who was handsome, pleasing to look at, and beautiful, but his eyes were small. Then, they celebrated his birth grandly, and as they were about to name the boy, (people) said, "Since this boy has small eyes, let his name be called 'Small Eyes'." Then the boy Small Eyes was raised and nurtured with milk, yogurt, butter, ghee, and the essence of butter, growing like a lotus in a lake.
