ཀུར་སྟི་བྱས་ནས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་པའི་ལས་དེའི་རྣམ་པར་སྨིན་པས་ཕྱུག་ཅིང་ནོར་མང་ལ་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཆེ་བའི་རིགས་སུ་སྐྱེས་ནས་གཟུགས་བཟང་ཞིང་བལྟ་ན་སྡུག་ལ་མཛེས་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ་ལུས་ཀྱི་མདོག་པད་མའི་སྙིང་པོའི་ཁ་དོག་ལྟ་བུར་གྱུར་ཏེ། དགེ་སློང་དག་རང་སངས་རྒྱས་བྱེ་བ་ཕྲག་འབུམ་བས་ཀྱང་ཆེས་ལྷག་པར་ཁྱད་པར་དུ་འཕགས་པ་ང་ལྟ་བུ་འདིས་མཉེས་པར་བྱས་ཏེ་མི་མཉེས་པར་མ་བྱས་ལ། ང་ཉིད་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ནས་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་སྤངས་ཏེ། དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བྱས་སོ།། །།ཤན་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི། གླེང་གཞི་མཉན་དུ་ཡོད་པ་ན་བཞུགས་ཏེ། དེའི་ཚེ་མཉན་དུ་ཡོད་པ་ན་ཤན་པ་ཞིག་གནས་པ་དེས་ཐབས་ཟླར་བབ་པ་ལས་ཆུང་མར་བླངས་པ་ལས། ཕྱི་ཞིག་ན་དེའི་ཆུང་མ་ལ་བུ་ཆགས་ནས་དེ་ཟླ་བ་དགུའམ་བཅུ་ལོན་པ་དང་བུ་བྱུང་སྟེ། ཁྱེའུ་གཟུགས་བཟང་ཞིང་བལྟ་ན་སྡུག་ལ་མཛེས་པ་ཞིག་བཙས་ནས་དེ་ཕ་མའི་སྙིང་དུ་ཤས་ཆེར་སྡུག་ཅིང་ཕངས་ལ་ཡིད་དུ་འོང་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་དེའི་བཙས་སྟོན་རྒྱས་པར་བྱས་ ཏེ་རིགས་དང་འཐུན་པའི་མིང་བཏགས་ནས། འོ་མ་དང་ཞོ་དང་མར་དང་ཞུན་མར་དང་མར་གྱི་ཉིང་གུས་བསྐྱེད་བསྲིངས་ཏེ། དེ་གང་གི་ཚེ་ཆེར་སྐྱེས་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་ཕ་མ་དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་བཟའ་བ་དང་བཅའ་བ་བཟང་པོ་བྱིན་ལ་ལས་ཅི་ཡང་བྱེད་དུ་མི་འཇུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་ཕྱིས་དེའི་ཕས་དེ་རང་གི་ལས་བྱེད་དུ་བཅུག་པ་དང་དེ་ན་རེ་ཡབ་བདག་ནི་བདག་ཉིད་འགུམ་པའི་རྔོ་ནི་ཐོགས་ཀྱི། སྲོག་ཆགས་འགུམ་པའི་རྔོ་ནི་མི་ཐོགས་སོ་ཞེས་ཟེར་རོ། །ཤན་པའི་ཆུང་མས་སྨྲས་པ། ཇོ་བོ་ཁྱེའུ་འདི་ལ་གནོད་པར་མ་མཛད་ཅིག་དང་། བདག་ཅག་གིས་ལས་འདི་གླ་མི་བགྱིད་དུ་སྩལ་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་ཐོས་པའི་མོད་ལ། ཤན་པ་དེས་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་དལ་བར་བཞག་གོ །དེ་ནས་ཕྱི་ཞིག་ན་ཁྱེའུ་དེས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་ལ་དད་པ་རྙེད་ནས། དེ་དུས་དུས་སུ་རྒྱལ་བུ་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་དུ་འགྲོ་ཞིང་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་ཆོས་མཉན་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་ཕྱི་ཞིག་ན་དེ་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བའི་སེམས་སྐྱེས་ནས། དེས་བསམས་པ། བདག་གིས་ཁྱིམ་ན་གནས་པ་བཏང་ལ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་ངོ་སྙམ་ནས། ཕ་མ་གཉིས་ལ་གསོལ་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ནས་བསྙེན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་བྱས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་དེས་བརྩོན་པ་དང་། བསྒྲུབ་པ་དང་འབད་པས་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་སྤངས་ཏེ། དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བྱས་ནས། དེ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཁམས་གསུམ་པའི་འདོད་ཆགས་དང་བྲལ་བར་གྱུར་ནས། གསེར་དང་བོང་བར་མཉམ་པ་ནམ་མཁའ་དང་ལག་མཐིལ་དུ་འདྲ་བའི་སེམས་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཙན་དན་སྦངས་པ་ལྟ་བུར་བསིལ་བར་གྱུར་པ། རིག་པས་སྒོ་ངའི་སྦུབས་བཅོམ་པ་རིག་པ་དང་མངོན་པར་ཤེས་པ་དང་སོ་སོ་ཡང་དག་པར་རིག་པ་ཐོབ་པ་སྲིད་པའི་རྙེད་པ་དང་། ཆགས་པ་དང་བཀུར་སྟི་ལ་རྒྱབ་ཀྱིས་ཕྱོགས་པ་དབང་པོ་དང་ཉེ་དབང་དང་བཅས་པའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མཆོད་ཅིང་རྗེད་པ་དང་གུས་པར་སྨྲ་བའི་གནས་སུ་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་དེས་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཉིད་ཐོབ་ནས་བསམས་པ། བདག་གིས་འདུལ་བར་འགྱུར་བ་འགའ་ལྟ་ཡོད་དམ་སྙམ་པ་དང་། དེས་ཐོག་མ་ཁོ་ནར་ཕ་མ་གཉིས་འདུལ་བར་འགྱུར་བ་མཐོང་ངོ་། ། མཐོང་ནས་ཀྱང་དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་ཐད་དུ་སོང་སྟེ་ཆོས་བསྟན་ནས། སྡིག་པའི་ལས་དེ་ལས་བཟློག་སྟེ། བདེན་པ་རྣམས་དང་སྐྱབས་སུ་འགྲོ་བ་དང་བསླབ་པའི་གནས་རྣམས་ལ་ཡང་བཀོད་དོ། །སྦྱིན་པ་དང་སྦྱིན་པའི་བགོ་བཤའ་བྱ་བ་ལ་ཡང་བཙུད་དེ་དེས་ཁྱིམ་དེ་སློང་བའི་སྐྱེ་བོ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཆུ་དོང་ལྟ་བུར་གྱུར་པར་བྱས་སོ། །དགེ་སློང་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཉིད་ཐོབ་པ་དེ་ལ་ཡང་བཟའ་བ་དང་བཅའ་བ་གཙང་མ་བཟང་པོ་སྦྱར་ཏོ། །དེས་ཀྱང་བདག་ཉིད་ཀྱང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་པར་བྱེད་ལ་ཚངས་པར་སྤྱོད་པ་གཞན་དག་ལ་ཡང་སྦྱིན་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་ཞུས་པ། བཙུན་པ་དགེ་སློང་འདིས་ལས་ཅི་བགྱིས་ན། ལས་དེའི་རྣམ་པར་སྨིན་པས་ཕྱུག་ཅིང་ནོར་མང་ལ་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཆེ་བའི་ཤན་པའི་རིགས་སུ་ཡང་སྐྱེས་ལ། སྡིག་པའི་ལས་ལ་ཡང་སེམས་མ་ཞུགས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱང་འདིས་མཉེས་པར་བགྱིས་ཏེ། མི་མཉེམ་པར་མ་བགྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་ལ་ཡང་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ནས་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་སྤངས་ཏེ། དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བགྱིས་ཁྱིམ་པའི་ཚེ་དང་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བའི་ཚེ་ན་ཡང་བཟའ་བ་དང་བཅའ་བ་བཟང་པོ་དང་ལྡན་པར་གྱུར་ལགས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། སྨོན་ལམ་གྱི་དབང་ལས་གྱུར་ཏོ། །བཙུན་པ་འདིས་གང་དུ་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་ལགས། དགེ་སློང་དག་སྔོན་བྱུང་བ་འདས་པའི་དུས་ན། རི་ཁྲོད་ཅིག་ན་ཤན་པ་མང་པོ་དག་ཅིག །སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་གྱི་ནང་དུ་དོང་སྟེ་བཟའ་བ་དང་བཅའ་བ་བཟང་པོ་མང་པོ་བཤམས་པ་ལས། རང་སངས་རྒྱས་ཞིག་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དེར་བསོད་སྙོམས་ལ་འོངས་ནས། དེ་ཤན་པའི་མི་ཞིག་གིས་མཐོང་སྟེ། མཐོང་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ཤན་པའི་མི་དེ་རང་སངས་རྒྱས་དེ་ལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་དགའ་བ་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། དགའ་བ་སྐྱེས་ནས་རང་སངས་རྒྱས་དེ་ལ་བཟའ་བ་དང་བ

通过做供养并发愿，那业成熟的结果，出生于富裕、财富众多、享受丰厚的种姓中，相貌端庄，令人赏心悦目，变得美丽，身体的颜色变得像莲花的花蕊的颜色一样。比无数的独觉佛还要超胜的我这样的人，使之欢喜，没有使之不欢喜。在我自己的教法中出家，断除了所有烦恼，现证了阿罗汉果。名叫屠夫的事是这样的：本师住在舍卫城。当时，舍卫城里住着一个屠夫，他因为某种因缘娶了一个女子为妻。后来，他的妻子怀孕了，九个月或十个月后生了一个儿子。这个男孩相貌端庄，令人赏心悦目，非常漂亮，是父母的心肝宝贝，非常疼爱，令人喜爱。然后，他们隆重地举行了孩子的诞生仪式，并取了一个与种姓相符的名字。用牛奶、酸奶、酥油、炼乳和酥油的精华来喂养他。当他长大后，他的父母给他提供美味的食物和饮料，不让他做任何工作。后来，他的父亲让他做自己的工作，他说：‘父亲，我能拿起砍自己的刀，但我不能拿起砍众生的刀。’屠夫的妻子说：‘主人，请不要伤害这个孩子。我们花钱请人做这个工作。’听到这些话后，屠夫放过了那个孩子。后来，这个孩子对世尊的教法产生了信仰。他经常去祇陀林给孤独园，听世尊讲法。后来，他生起了出家的念头。他想：‘我应该放弃在家生活，在世尊的教法中出家。’于是他请求父母，在世尊的教法中出家并受了比丘戒。然后，他通过精进、修行和努力，断除了所有烦恼，现证了阿罗汉果。他是三界阿罗汉。

Through making offerings and making aspirations, as a result of that karma ripening, he was born into a wealthy, rich, and prosperous lineage, with a handsome appearance, pleasing to the eye, becoming beautiful, and the color of his body became like the color of the lotus heart. Monks, even more superior than hundreds of thousands of billions of Pratyekabuddhas, someone like me has pleased them, and has not displeased them. Having renounced in my own teachings, having abandoned all defilements, he has directly realized the state of an Arhat. The story of the one called "Butcher" is as follows: The foundation was laid while residing in Shravasti. At that time, there was a butcher living in Shravasti who, due to some circumstance, took a woman as his wife. Later, his wife became pregnant, and after nine or ten months, she gave birth to a son. The boy was handsome, pleasing to the eye, and beautiful. He was very dear to his parents' hearts, very precious, and pleasing. Then, they celebrated the child's birth extensively and gave him a name that was in accordance with their lineage. They raised and nurtured him with milk, yogurt, butter, ghee, and the essence of ghee. When he grew up, his parents gave him good food and drink and did not allow him to do any work. Later, his father made him do his own work, and he said, "Father, I can pick up the knife to cut myself, but I cannot pick up the knife to kill living beings." The butcher's wife said, "Master, please do not harm this child. We will pay someone else to do this work." Upon hearing these words, the butcher let the child go. Later, the child developed faith in the teachings of the Bhagavan. He would go to Jeta Grove in the Prince Jeta's Grove from time to time and listen to the Dharma from the Bhagavan. Later, he developed the mind of renunciation. He thought, "I should abandon the life of a householder and renounce in the teachings of the Bhagavan." So he asked his parents and renounced in the teachings of the Bhagavan and took full ordination. Then, through diligence, practice, and effort, he abandoned all defilements and directly realized the state of an Arhat. He was an Arhat of the three realms.

Having become free from desire, with a mind that is equal towards gold and rubble, like the sky and the palm of the hand, cooled like sandalwood soaked in water. Having destroyed the shell of ignorance with wisdom, having obtained wisdom, supernormal knowledge, and individual perfect knowledge, turning away from worldly gain, attachment, and reverence, he became a place of worship, remembrance, and respect for the gods with power and attendants. Then, having attained the state of an Arhat, he thought, 'Is there anyone I can tame?' And he saw that his parents could be tamed first. Having seen this, he went to them and taught them the Dharma, turning them away from sinful deeds, and placing them in the truths, the refuges, and the places of learning. He also encouraged them to give alms and distribute alms, and thus he made that house like a watering hole for beggars. He also offered pure and good food and drink to that monk who had attained the state of an Arhat. He himself enjoyed it and also gave it to other celibates. Then the monks asked the Blessed One, 'Venerable One, what deeds did this monk do that, as a result of those deeds, he was born into a wealthy, rich, and prosperous butcher's family, and yet his mind was not inclined to sinful deeds? He also pleased the Blessed One and did not displease him, and he also renounced the Blessed One's teachings, abandoning all defilements, and directly realized the state of an Arhat, and in both his householder life and his renunciate life, he had good food and drink?' The Blessed One said, 'It is due to the power of aspiration.' Venerable One, where did this monk make aspirations? Monks, in the past, in a secluded place, there were many butchers gathered together. They dug a pit in a garden and set out many good foods and drinks. A solitary Buddha came to that garden for alms. A butcher saw him. As soon as he saw him, that butcher felt great joy towards that solitary Buddha. Having felt joy, he offered food and drin
