以及，不太酸的，不太咸的，不太甜的，不太辣的，不太涩的，即没有苦味、酸味、咸味、甜味、辣味、涩味的食物来供养，并用项链和丝绸覆盖身体，如同天女在欢乐的园林中游玩一般，从一个宝座到另一个宝座，从小座到小座游走，不落于下方的地面，并且不听任何令人不悦的声音。之后，她怀孕九个月或十个月后生了一个儿子，这个男孩相貌英俊，令人赏心悦目，容貌美丽，肤色好，像莲花的花心颜色。头如伞盖，手臂修长，额头宽阔，鼻子高挺，鼻形优美，眉毛浓密。出生之时，大摆宴席庆祝。人们商议给这个男孩起什么名字，说道：‘这个男孩的肤色像莲花的花心，因此给这个男孩起名叫莲花色。’于是就这么叫了。之后，莲花色男孩用牛奶、酸奶、酥油、炼乳和酥油的精华来喂养，像湖中的莲花一样茁壮成长。之后，当他长大成人之时，学习了文字、算术、说唱、手算、加法、减法、乘法、除法、鉴别衣物、鉴别宝石、鉴别珍宝、鉴别香料、鉴别药物、鉴别象、鉴别马、鉴别武器。精通文字，擅长阅读，聪明睿智，做事干练，心怀公正，精通八种鉴别之术。那个居士的亲戚是具寿近裔，莲花色男孩依靠他，对世尊的教法生起了信心。他禀告父母后，在具寿近裔处出家并受具足戒。之后，有一天，他没有禀告堪布，因为一些事情离开了那座山林。他逐渐游历四方，最终到达了一个叫做破败之地的国家。

And, not too sour, not too salty, not too sweet, not too spicy, not too astringent, that is, served with foods without bitter, sour, salty, sweet, spicy, and astringent tastes, and covered the body with necklaces and silks, just like a heavenly daughter wandering in a joyful garden, moving from one throne to another, from small seats to small seats, not falling to the ground below, and not hearing any unpleasant sounds. Then, after she was pregnant for nine or ten months, she gave birth to a son, a boy who was handsome, pleasing to the eye, beautiful in appearance, with a good complexion, like the color of a lotus heart. His head was like an umbrella, his arms were long, his forehead was broad, his nose was high, his nose was well-shaped, and his eyebrows were thick. At the time of his birth, a grand feast was held to celebrate. People discussed what name to give the boy, saying, 'This boy's complexion is like the color of a lotus heart, therefore, let's name this boy Lotus Color.' So they called him that. After that, the boy Lotus Color was raised with milk, yogurt, butter, ghee, and the essence of ghee, and grew vigorously like a lotus in a lake. Later, when he grew up, he learned writing, arithmetic, storytelling, manual calculation, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, distinguishing clothes, distinguishing gems, distinguishing jewels, distinguishing incense, distinguishing medicine, distinguishing elephants, distinguishing horses, and distinguishing weapons. He became proficient in writing, skilled in reading, intelligent and wise, efficient in doing things, fair-minded, and proficient in the eight kinds of discernment. That householder's relative was the venerable Nearsider, and the boy Lotus Color relied on him and developed faith in the teachings of the Blessed One. After informing his parents, he went forth and was fully ordained at the venerable Nearsider's place. Then, one day, without informing the abbot, he left that mountain forest for some reason. He gradually traveled around, and eventually arrived in a country called the Land of Destruction.

Then, the venerable Lotus Color, in the morning, having put on his lower garment and robes, and carrying his bowl, went to the destroyed area for alms. The venerable one, being unfamiliar with the customs of the area, gradually went for alms and ended up at the house of a prostitute. That prostitute was beautiful in form, pleasing to look at, lovely, and lustful in her desires. Then, that woman saw the venerable Lotus Color from afar. Having seen him, she was struck by the strong arrow of desire. She was overcome by desire and, without hesitation, stood up and went to where the venerable Lotus Color was. Having gone, she said, "Venerable one, please be seated on this prepared seat." Then, the venerable Lotus Color thought, "Could this be a female lay follower?" Thinking this, he sat on the prepared seat. The woman, unable to bear the force of her desire, said to Lotus Color, "Venerable one, you are also endowed with excellent form and youth, and I am also beautiful in all my limbs. Please, lie with me." Then, as soon as he heard this, the venerable Lotus Color covered his ears and sat there, saying, "I will not commit such a sin, and I dare not destroy the teachings of the Blessed One." The woman said, "Why do you trouble yourself like this? If you do not desire these things, why did you come to the house of a prostitute?" Lotus Color said, "Because I am new here, I do not know the customs of the area, and that is why I came here. I did not come to seek desires, and it is not right for me to do such a thing."
